July is a huge month for the dwarf planet Pluto!

Don't miss Capt. Fogg's blog post on this subject.

  1. No matter what they find on Pluto, there will be wingnuts that say it was all created on Universal Studio's backlot. Some of those wingnuts may even be running for president.

  2. Thanks for the video. I'm a bit baffled by the "alien cities" reference in the title of it. The video mentions nothing of the sort, and it's hard to imagine anywhere less likely to have cities than Pluto.

  3. I can't wait to see what Pluto looks like. We've waited so long to see it up close.

  4. Infidel,

"... it's hard to imagine anywhere less likely to have cities than Pluto."

Or most likely since it is the furthest "planet" from earth? The distance would not be a problem for any aliens able to build a city on Pluto, but a greater problem for us to detect them.

  5. I think NASA scientists predicted one possible landscape might include tall, icy mountains. I guess that's close enough to cities for TV.

Check out nasa.gov for mission information.
