"Trump had pledged on taking office to enter into no new foreign deals to avoid conflicts of interest, but he continued to receive income from foreign business dealings throughout his time as president. So much for avoiding those acknowledged foreign conflicts of interest."

Trump was asked about the Chinese bank account during the debates. He said he closed it before he ran for president. A lie.   (Imagine if Barack Obama had income from China on his tax returns. The right wingers would have swallowed their tongues in rage!)

"The returns also [show] that Trump — who used to brag of his philanthropic efforts — has given relatively little money to charity. In the 2019 tax year, he reported just over $500,000 in charitable donations and he reported giving no money at all to charity in 2020 — the first year of the coronavirus pandemic that upended the economy, led to widespread job losses and forced many Americans to rely on charity and food banks."

Between 2015 - 2019 Paid $1,776,342 in taxes.

The congressman-elect confirmed The New York Times’s findings that he had not graduated from college or worked at two major Wall Street firms, as he had claimed.

The Trumpublican Party that still supports Trump -- a Liar, a Cheat, and a Fraud, -- is prepared to seat George Santos, a Liar, a Cheat, and a Fraud, as a U.S. Representative after finding out that everything he campaigned on and was subsequently elected on was a  LIE!

When are lies about one's background, accomplishments, affiliations, (and everything else) so great, so material, that the electorate can fairly be said not to have elected that person to office? In the business world, Santos would immediately be fired for lying about his graduation and accomplishments. His resignation should not be in question, except he is part of the Republican party that puts power ahead of morals.

The people of Santos's district voted for a gay Jewish college graduate with a successful career on Wall Street, who self-financed his campaign. That person does not exist. If this result is allowed to stand, elections truly are meaningless. 

The same party that lied about Herschel Walker’s past, and that endorsed a candidate that they knew lied about his qualifications (Santos), continues to push a narrative that Democrats can’t be trusted!

George Santos actually said today that, “I never said I was Jewish … I said I was Jew-ish.” 

No really, he said this. That's right up there with saying you’re going to give someone a Toyota and then giving them a "toy Yoda."

"McCarthy on November 19th said with the election of George Santos, they have the largest Republican Jewish Caucus in 24 years."

 

Except the GQP doesn't, because George Santos LIED about being Jewish. And the Party of Liars, Cheaters, and Frauds happily welcomes another Liar, Cheater, and Fraud into its club.

Trump should never be allowed to hold public office again. He's a disgrace to America and to himself. Trouble is, narcissists like Trump care nothing about their disgraceful behavior, they don't have the self-reflection needed to be ashamed of their actions.

Trump is a thoroughly immoral, thoroughly corrupt human being. I wish for a day when there is no news about Trump. He has been the bane of Democracy and a disgrace to the Republicans and America herself.

Never before in history has any former President of the United States been referred to Department of Justice for prosecution for criminal behavior. Not Andrew Johnson, not Richard Nixon.

And never before in my life or yours did we ever hear of a POTUS mouthing these traitorous words:

"Still one of the most chilling moments. Hutchinson: The crowd is calling for Pence to be effing hung. 

 Meadows: "You heard [Trump]. He doesn't want to do anything. He thinks Pence deserves it."

How does any American read that first person account statement from Trump's Chief of Staff, --a man who was the closest to Trump during the attack on the U.S. government, -- how does anyone read that and not feel revulsion?

The Trump cultists and those who believe we've spent too much time on "the clown," and that we should move on, are the ones, IMO, who have weakened our form of democratic government by not calling for Trump to be held accountable for his crimes.

Those Trump cultists and people who think they're "above the fray" want us to pretend that there was no multi-pronged conspiracy to defraud the U.S. to REALLY steal the 2020 presidential election that involved fake electors; pressure on state election officials; pressure on VP Pence; lie after lie to Americans; and calling protesters to DC to put pressure on Congress.

Trump's cultists want America to forget what he did and just move on as though it never happened.

How does a country of laws, not men, move on from that?

MT Greene proudly tells her audience, and now the world, that if she and Steve Bannon had organized the insurrection against the United States government on January 6, 2021, she would have been armed, and she and Bannon would have prevailed in overturning the electoral count in the House of Representatives (to which she had just been elected).

She stupidly tells the world about her dreams of sedition against the government she had just sworn to uphold and whose Constitution she swore to preserve, protect, and defend.

IOW, she bragged about being a disloyal American and in favor of overturning the government that pays her very generous salary!

JUST A THOUGHT

Republicans have decided that the guy whose organization, the Trump Organization, was found guilty on all 17 counts of corruption;

*the guy who cheated on his first wife with his second wife and who then cheated on his second wife with his third wife and who had sex with a porn star while said third wife was pregnant with his 5th child; 

*the guy whose Big Lie incited an insurrection against his own government;

*the guy who said his own vice president deserved to be hanged;

*the guy who stole top secret government documents and lied about it; 

*the guy who had dinner at his home with a man who said he loved Hitler and with a white supremacist; 

*the guy who called for the "termination" of the Constitution so that he could be "reinstalled" in the office of the presidency, which he overwhelmingly lost in 2020 --

That guy is the person that Republicans have decided would be a great representative of Republican values and a shining example of democracy for the rest of the free world.

Not one GOP Senator nor Representative has called for Donald J. Trump to drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

So we can only assume that Republicans are on board for Trump to be the front-runner for the Republican Party. 

And that, my friends, defines what the GOP stands for:

Lying, cheating, fraud, anarchy, venality, and hatred of our founding document, the US Constitution.

Warnock defeats Walker, giving Democrats 51-49 majority in Senate

Decency, competence, and compassion won in GA tonight.

Thank goodness Warnock won.

The party of Trump ran a very, very poor candidate and they deserve the humiliation of losing AGAIN!

Senators Graham and Cruz merit special recognition for their cringe-worthy pandering for Walker. It did Walker not a bit of good and may have even contributed to his loss.

How long before the Trumpublican Party dumps Walker? We'll wait and see.
