Trump Rages Over SCOTUS Ruling.

‘I CAN DESTROY THE COUNTRY!

TRUMP GOES BALLISTIC OVER SUPREME COURT RULING

RAW STORY — President Donald Trump erupted at the Supreme Court on Friday after it ruled against his authority to impose sweeping tariffs, vowing to circumvent its decision with “alternatives” and lambasting the justices for their "ridiculous opinion,” which he claimed permitted him to "destroy" countries.

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 earlier on Friday that Trump acted outside his authority when imposing his sweeping tariffs, which his administration had justified under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). As such, a significant share of Trump’s tariffs have now been declared unlawful

“The court said that I'm not allowed to charge even $1! Can't charge one dollar to any country under IEEPA!” Trump raged during an address from the White House.

“But I am allowed to cut off any and all trade or business with that same country; in other words, I can destroy the trade, I can destroy the country! I'm even allowed to impose a foreign country-destroying embargo, I can embargo! I can do anything I want, but I can't charge $1!”

Trump has staked much of his presidency on his tariff policy, warning over the past several months that a ruling against the policy could lead to a $2 trillion “catastrophe” and reduce the United States to “almost Third World status.

Now that the Supreme Court has ruled against the tariffs, Trump appears ready to circumvent the order through alternative tariffs, tariffs that he argued could generate “more money.”

“I can do anything I want to do to them, but I can't charge any money,” Trump continued. “So I'm allowed to destroy the country, but I can't charge them a little fee. How ridiculous is that?”

  1. The ignorant hateful moron with severe narcissist personality disorder farts and bellows like a spoiled three year old toddler.

As if we didn't know his response to the decision would be just another one of his ignorant deluded reactions.

The small minded moron is without doubt criminally insane.

    1. He believes the SCOTUS is his own personal judicial branch that will bow to all his demands. This is what happens when a malignant narcissist learns he isn't the most powerful man on Earth. The SCOTUS gave his prodigious orange arse a good spanking, and it is delicious to see him explode like a balloon full of liquid filth.

  2. Ecomomics analysis = "Ultimately, while the tax is paid at the border, the cost is shared among the entire supply chain, with a significant portion reaching the final consumer." Just a fancy nonsensical sales tax that made the Great Depression longer and worse. The answer is blowing in the wind and the voting booth.

    1. Anyone with a brain knows that the consumer pays for tariffs. Trump's brain stopped functioning years ago.

  3. Here's what President trump, and his supporters/enablers are not getting. A president is elected to enact his or her agenda, according to the laws and the Constitution of the United States.

If a president wants to do something he or she believes is permitted, and yet the SCOTUS decides is illegal, that's the end of the end of the discussion...

A good example was when the Biden wanted to cancel student debt. The SCOTUS ruled his actions were illegal. The Biden Admin was furious and let ppl know. In measured language. No "this is anti American, I can destroy the country if I want" language. No "they are horrible people" language.

And conservatives cheered and supported the SCOTUS, arguing that was how the system worked.

However, it seems as if conservatives and MAGA supporters are not so joyful of the exact system that once constrained President Biden and his ambitions, now that it is constraining President Trump.

    I wonder why?

    1. Trump's reaction to the SCOTUS's ruling was appalling. He behaved like a toddler not getting his way, calling the justices names and impugning their patriotism, honesty, and intelligence. IOW, he behaved like he always does when he doesn't get his way -- like a boorish jackass.

I don't understand how any American can still support this "moral slum" of a man.

    2. Shaw... the Capitana has admitted as much. She regularly is angry at Trump and the GOP for their inability to stay on message, his narcissism, being "less truthful" than they should be, and on and on.

Yet then she follows that up with "But of course I would never vote for a Democrat scum" line.

It's not all consuming Trump allegiance... it all consuming hate of Democrats.
