  1. So... this was a mistake. The US mistakenly targeted a school we thought was a military installation. Or, we were targeting a nearby military installation, missed and hit the school.

It happens all the time in war. Think fog of war, friendly fire, etc. This is one reason responsible leaders prepare their populace and get buy in from government leaders before launching attacks on sovereign nations and going to war with nations that have not launched direct attacks themselves.

What do responsible governments do when these mistakes happens?

They obfuscate, lie, bluster, make stuff up and do whatever they can to get people to "look over there" instead of at the unfolding reality they can see on television and read about in the news.

Oh man... I said responsible didn't I? The above is what the Trump Admin has done. A responsible government would tell people we are investigating to get the facts and then when those facts were found, announce to the public what had happened. If that government was found to be at fault, or made a mistake as we did, it would apologize for the needless loss of life and vow to do better.

But the US has done none of that, further damaging our once good reputation around the world.

But this is the leadership many in our country want.

    1. "Think fog of war, friendly fire, etc."

But in this case, there was no "fog of war." The U.S. hadn't been attacked by Iran. The U.S. wasn't fighting back to protect our military or in retaliation for an attack on the U.S.

Iran's current regime is a murderous and dangerous one. But so is Russia's and North Korea's.

Are Americans okay with pre-emptive strikes on terrible regimes? Is that what we're about now?

  2. Admittedly off topic but certainly belongs in the almost everything Trump touches he breaks, makes worse or screws up category...

One astute commentator has a couple of questions for America...

TELL ME... HOW DID WE LOSE 2020 AND HOW IS IT THAT EVERY COURT HAS RULED AGAINST TRUMP? EVEN TRUMP-APPOINTED JUDGES IN VARYING STATES……

BECAUSE, LONG ABOUT NOW, WITH TRUMP CONSTANTLY SAYING HE WON THAT ELECTION, HE’S LOOKING LIKE A FRAUDSTER HIMSELF!! WHY CAN’T HE PRESENT PROOF BEFORE HE (AGAIN) GIVES A LIFT TO THE LEFTWING MEDIA IN INSULTING HIM FOR WHAT JUST MIGHT BE THE TRUTH HE’S TELLING????????

    I have two answers...

    1. How did Trump lose the 2020 elections? Biden got more votes and won more states. Period.

    2. Why can't Trump produce the proof that he won the 2020 elections? Because he didn't. See above.

The answers are not hard, if you're willing to look at facts and evidence. Instead of hyperbole that stems from a pre election assuredness that Trump would win that election. Once they had gone all in before the elections, they had to defend the point.

Or be faced with an uncomfortable reality. Just like the school bombing and Iran War.

    1. Trump is trying with everything in his power that is available to him and his lackeys to rewrite the 2020 election. Tyrants do this sort of "correcting" history all the time. But it's especially urgent for Trump because his personality disorder will not allow any defeat by anyone to be written in the history books.

We've become a pariah to the rest of the civilized world because a minority of Americans believed putting a man with a severe personality disorder and the onset of dementia, who also has been a liar, cheat, and fraudster all his life, and on top of that, a convicted felon and adjudicated sexual assaulter/rapist who partied for years with pedophiles and has protected one of those pedophiles, Maxwell, -- a person with all that disgraceful baggage would make a good leader.

  3. Since he knows everything, Trump is not a reader - he just watches himself on TV. But his BFF, Bibi who tells him what to do is well read. His very favorites are in the bible - "I will surely put out the remembering of he Amalek from under heaven.....,Yahweh will have war with Amalek from generation to generation" . (Exodus 17:14, 16) and "Go and smite Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep and camel and ass"
(Samuel 15.3) It started in the Holy Land and has raged since.

    1. The Quran has similar warnings about "infidels," with permission to "smite them!" Isn't it amazing that in some religions, their gods hate the same people as those gods' adherents hate. And even gives those adherents permission to kill them.

  4. To piggyback your post about the DOD department that was gutted. From The Atlantic: "In early 2025, ahead of Trump’s second inauguration, members of his transition team asked military officials to review and potentially close a unit—a “center of excellence,” in Pentagon parlance—established to help the military devise better strategies to protect civilians. The creation of the Civilian Protection Center of Excellence in 2023 was part of an effort to understand why thousands of noncombatants had died in the battle against the Islamic State terrorist group and to find ways to limit civilian deaths in counterinsurgency struggles.
The center was created by law, so it couldn’t be closed outright. But the administration has dramatically reduced staffing there and fired or reassigned personnel focused on preventing civilian harm across the military. Total staff working on the issue across the military, which numbered nearly 200 at its peak, has been reduced by about 90 percent over the past year, people familiar with the matter told me."

    1. It’s almost as if the Trump administration is deliberately trying to make the US more vulnerable to tracks from our enemies.

  5. Did it "mistakenly" target the school?

Given the hate and destructive mentality of the current war regime in the US I'm not so sure.

The hate, the ignorance, and the delusions of Netanyahu and Trump and his regime if terrorists cannot be believed. Both are, anf always have been, pathological liars.

  6. Sikhism. Hinduism, and Sihksm are traditions that actually make logical sense. As well as supported by scientific observations in quantum mechanics and physics.

The actual meanings found in Jesus's teachings mirror those of Sikhism and to some extent Hinduism.

Empire Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are essentially all about control and division (duality).

Judaism, Empire Christianity, and Islam have been responsible for great evil in the world.
