If we get nuked, Trump will no doubt blame us for our problems, claim our mayor showed poor leadership by getting vaporized, and complain that we want everything done for us.<br /><br />Strictly speaking, it's probably true that negotiation won't bring about disarmament (it hasn't done so in the past), unless we can get China fully on board, something Trump is strikingly unlikely to be able to do. But even getting nothing done is better than provoking a possibly-nuclear war.<br /><br />(You might want to watch out if Trump's belligerence eventually shifts to his other favorite target.
