Over the last 30 years he has carved in wood images of some of our greatest jazz musicians. In the spring of 2012, he had a one-man show at The Brooks School in Andover, Mass.
This February and March, Buckingham, Browne and Nichols is featuring a one-man show of Jack's remarkable sculptures of America's legends of music.

Your cousin's work is very impressive.
As a former trumpeter, and one who appreciates great jazz and blues I would enjoy seeing the Swamptones perform. However, the schedule page on the bands sight wouldn't open.
I don't know who maintains the Swamptones' site, but I'll speak to Jack and find out what the bands' schedule is.

Can almost hear "Lester Leaps In".
I'm sorry to say I don't have the right "Flash Player" to see it all, but from the examples shown of Duke Ellington and Thelonius Monk in particular and the marvelous figure with the enormous saxophone whose name escapes me right now, it looks to me like first-class work that really captures the spirit of these iconic figures in the world of Jazz.
Is there a Lionel Hampton in the collection? An Art Tatum? an Oscar Peterson? An Errol Garner? A Eubie Blake? A Bobby Short? A Mabel Mercer? A Nat King Cole? A Josephine Baker? A Cab Calloway? An Alberta Hunter? A Bricktop? An Ethel Waters? Sarah Vaughan? Lena Horne? Pearl Bailey?
