That's HYSTERICAL! BRILLIANT! What fun!

Is this the guy who did The Firebird?

I'd love to see what he made of THAT!

My favorite Italian joke (it goes all the way back to WWII)

An Itlain commander is ordering his troops into battle.

"AVANTI!" he says.

No one responds.

"AVANTI!!!" -- more emphatically this time.

Finally, one of the men speaks in a bemused tone:

"QUE BELLA VOCE!" was all he said. ;-)

LOL!

Yes, Bozzetto is the animator who used "The Firebird" in his animated film "Allegro non Troppo.

I've been able to find only sections of it on YouTube.

Very amusing, and it's cool that Italians like signore Bozzetto are able to poke fun at themselves. But always remember that without Italy (the Romans and the Renaissance) there would be no Europe as we know it.

Considering how things have turned out in the past one hundred years, are you sure that was a good thing? ;-)
