    Police officers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, me and some Walmart employees are on duty, regardless of whether it's a holiday or not. It's called work.

    I see nothing wrong with it. If there is a direct threat of violent crime against Walmart and its employees, the police need to "protect and serve".

    As for William Smith, I find little to agree with. I guess he'd rather have Walmart fire hundreds of thousands of workers who have skills of relatively low value, rather than dare pay them what their jobs are worth (an amount, by the way, which is often higher than the pay at small mom-and-pop stores).

    As for the "abandoned and decaying town centers", they have no one to blame but themselves and their own decisions.

    Well, as long as these protesters are prevented from harassing the workers and customers, they should be allowed.
