Trump, Acosta, and Epstein

UPDATE BELOW

Trump continues to support Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta who was responsible for giving child rapist and one-time friend of Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, a lenient sentence for his crimes.

Anyone else would have been put away for life.

Acosta allowed Epstein to go to a minimum security, country club-style jail and was allowed a work release program which meant he was at his office 12 hours a day.

Any other child rapist would have been put away for life.

Why did Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta give Jeffrey Epstein such a light sentence for his henious crimes?

Trump on Tuesday told reporters Epstein was unavoidable as a prominent figure in the Palm Beach community: "I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you."

Donald Trump on Jeffrey Epstein:

"I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

NYTimes:

Roger J. Stone Jr., the former Trump adviser, wrote in his book “The Clintons’ War on Women,” which was published during the campaign, that Mr. Trump “turned down many invitations to Epstein’s hedonistic private island and his Palm Beach home.” Once when Mr. Trump visited Mr. Epstein at his Palm Beach home, Mr. Stone wrote, he later seemed to joke about the scene of underage girls he witnessed there.

“The swimming pool was filled with beautiful young girls,” Mr. Trump later told a Mar-a-Lago member, according to Mr. Stone. “‘How nice,’ I thought, ‘he let the neighborhood kids use his pool.’”

Sam Nunberg, a former campaign aide to Mr. Trump, said he raised concerns about the candidate’s involvement with Mr. Epstein before Mr. Trump officially began his presidential campaign. But Mr. Trump assured Mr. Nunberg that he had barred Mr. Epstein from entering his clubs after Mr. Epstein had tried to recruit a woman who worked at Mar-a-Lago.

************************

Yes, Bill Clinton is going to be stained by his connection to Epstein. But Clinton is gone from office and Trump isn’t.

Trump appears to have barred Epstein over a business deal not over the young women. That fits the pattern. Women, ok but don’t mess with Trump’s money.

Hopefully SDNY will be able to make a case against Donald as being aware of Epstein’s actions and not reporting it or maybe even taking part in them.

  1. Anyone connected with Jeffrey Epstein is permanently stained by the connection, and that obviously includes Donald Trump.

There has never been an adequate explanation of Epstein’s ability to engage in sex with underage girls with seeming immunity in Palm Beach and in West Palm Beach.

There also has never been any credible justification for the ridiculous sweet-heart plea deal given to Epstein by the prosecutor, whereby Epstein had only to sleep a few hours in the local jail each night for about a year.

That deal, of course, was brokered by our current Secretary of Labor, Alex Acosta, appointed by Donald Trump, who was very familiar with Epstein and with Acosta’s role.

Perhaps the New York crimes of Jeffrey Epstein will be prosecuted with fairness to Epstein’s victims, but that still will not expunge the Trump connection.

Strip club to host golf tournament at Trump resort in South Florida

I wonder if tRump will get one of his "reverends" to pray over the silicone titties and g-strings?

    Hahahahahaha!

  4. Meanwhile who in hell is running things? With a mentally diseased POTUS, a dysfunctional administration, and a paralyzed federal (feral) bureaucracy it is reasonable to conclude we are adrift and floating aimlessly. Without a moral compass I might add.

  5. HEROINE Megan Rapinoe Says that she wont go ththe White House to visit with trump!
She's now extremely famous. Dissing the disgusting con man sexual predator president has helped her in that and good on her for doing the right thing.
The premise of the OP is wrong.
Associating with that orange garbage heap just dirties everyone that goes there

  6. A certain commenter on the right actually thinks its fine for rich white guys to go "crazy over young P*ssy." He's a Trump supporter who thinks the guy whose been accused of rape by two females and accused of sexual assault by 20+ women is a great guy, and asks God to bless him!

    I'm not making this up.

  7. You are judged by the company you keep. Epstein, Ayers, Wright, McDougal. All of them are of questionable character yet they were all associated with presidents. Somehow one sticks out above the rest. Maybe it is because the vitriol felt for one of the presidents. DJT has a rival on which president is the bigger scum bag but BJ is considered a pillar in the democrat circles.

    1. Actually skud it is UNTRUE that Democrats would accept WJC if he was engaging in sexual acts with underage girls. And you're smart enough to know it.

In fact it is significantly more likely that DJT would get a wink and a nod of approval from rethuglicans and libertarians. Some, like a certain slime conservative who hangs out at WYD, would give Epstein and DJT high five for their immoral activities.

In a nutshell skud you're FOS with your comment above.

Babbling tRump is the new teflon Don. Nothing the slime ball does, or has done, is EVER egregious enough for the trumpanzees to call the scum out for his nefarious actions.

  8. RN, I couldn[t have said it better.

I will yell the loudest if it comes out that Bill Clinton was involved in this sordid mess, having sex with children.

skudrunner always needs to drag the Clintons and President Obama into anything he posts here. We all understand why e does that.

  9. RN, Read what was written. I didn't say a thing about BJ having sex acts with underage girls. Having sex with a very young employee while president is OK in your book so I was wrong. BJC is the pillar of his community and still the star of the DNC.

Ms. Shaw, I did not mention OTG in that post, I did mention some of his questionable associates.

  10. skudrunner, RN can speak for himself, but I've known him long enough to know that he most certainly would NOT say it was okay for Clinton to have had a sexual affaire with a young intern who was also an employee. Don't put words in RN's mouth. You do that to me all the time, as well as always bashing President Obama.

And if having a blameless, scandalless, dignified, decent presidency for 8 years makes him "Obama The Great," then so be it. Compared to the immoral pig dirting the White House now, President Obama deserves the label "The Great." It's pretty apparent that the Goopers are ashamed that their preznit is an embarrssment to America. Mr. Obama never was!

Holy Shit! Did skudrunner actually call some of Obama's associates "questionable?" And ignore the crooks associated with Trump? How many of Obama's close associates went to the slammer? Right now a bunch of Trumpers are spending time there. None of Obama's are. Skudrunner is a rightwing troll!
