I was a proud member of the Hospital and Nursing Home Employees Union Local 113 for 4 years when I worked part time in a nursing home back in the late 70s.

Mine was not. My grandfather was. I was not, but for a breif 5 year period early in life. I did not need a union to succeed. But I sure as hell understood why unionss are ABSOLUTELY neccessary.
So was mine.
