Donald J. Trump persistently committed fraud judge ruled today.

A New York judge ruled on Tuesday that Donald J. Trump persistently committed fraud by inflating the value of his assets, and stripped the former president of control over some of his signature New York properties.

"The decision by Justice Arthur F. Engoron is a major victory for Attorney General Letitia James in her lawsuit against Mr. Trump, effectively deciding that no trial was needed to determine that he had fraudulently secured favorable terms on loans and insurance deals.

Ms. James has argued that Mr. Trump inflated the value of his properties by as much as $2.2 billion and is seeking a penalty of about $250 million in a trial scheduled to begin as early as Monday."

The current Republican/Trumpublican Party wants TRUMP, who repeatedly cheated and defrauded people, is currently under 91 felony indictments, and was found liable for raping a woman, to lead this country and represent America and American values!

I'm not kidding. That's how twistedly sick 30 to 35% of the American voting public is.

Anyone who still supports this corrupt malignant narcissist has to have more than the proverbial screw loose.

Career military men who've honorably served their country have this to say about Trump:

Trump has 91 felony counts against him, was found, by a judge, to have persistently committed fraud, was found liable, by a judge, for raping a woman, incited an insurrection against the United States of America, and was the first POTUS to break the American tradition of a peaceful transfer of power (there's much, much more, but I haven't the time right now to list them all).

And the former Republican Party wants Trump to represent them and their values as well as represent our country and its values to the rest of the world.

Can someone explain this madness to me?

  2. Oh man Shaw...

There's so much going on right now. Trump being found to have committed fraud, again. The GOP opening an impeachment case when even their crazy Freedom Caucus head Ken Buck says there's no evidence of wrong doing by Joe Biden. A GOP seemingly willing to shut down the government for no agreed upon discernible reason. Dems Hunter Biden and Bob Menendez being indicted by a supposedly "two tiered" DOJ that some say only targets the GOP. Dems accepting and respecting those two DOJ decisions and not a single person in the party calling for violence, killings, jail or defunding the FBI and DOJ.

What can we make of all of it, taken together?

How about this statement from a GOP Congressman in New York... "The House GOP" he said "are lunatics. This is stupidity. It’s a clown show...”

The US has two major parties. Ppl can disagree with the Dem's policies, but no one can say they cannot govern. You may not like what they do... but they do get stuff done.

The GOP can't do anything right now. Except continue to back a bunch of ppl lying about the 2020 elections. Literally, a bunch of ppl found guilty of fraud.

And all that is before we even get to a racist GOP party in Alabama which for the second time in 4 months was found by the Trump dominated SCOTUS to have systematically tried to dilute minority voting rights.

Just let it sink in... the GOP stacked SCOTUS, found the Alabama GOP racist.

    Lying, racist fraudsters... Today's GOP.

I hope your enjoying your time with family.

  4. Nikki Haley also has promised that she would vote for Trump should he get the nomination even if he is FOUND GUILTY of the 91 felony counts.

    AND SO WILL I!

My friends in Europe are in shock to understand that so many Americans still support a man with the rap sheet Trump has.

And folks like skudrunner, who I believe at heart is a good person, blame the Democrats for the supposed close poll numbers between Trump and Biden for the 2024 election instead of where it belongs: THE PEOPLE WHO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT TRUMP.

At no other time in our country's history has such a thoroughly corrupt and mentally unstable man run for the presidency with so much support. The blame for this lies completely on the shoulders of the Trump supporters, not the Democrats.

The Trumpers are the people who continue to support liars, frauds, and crooks like George Santos and Trump; they continue to support low-intelligence House Reps like Boebert, Greene, Gaetz, and Jordan -- performance clowns.

I think we're in a terrible situation because of tribalism and lack of critical thinking on the part of huge numbers of Americans.

  6. Yes, Trump inflated the value of his properties so that he could pay more taxes on them...

    Sounds logical to me.

  7. Trump could hold another first and that is to act as president from prison. If the dems don't come up with another candidate this is a real possibility because the gop certainly won't do the right thing and throw trump to the side.

There you go again! Trying to blame the Democrats for running a decent, honorable man who's only 3 years older than Trump, instead of calling out the sickos in the current Republican/Trumpublican cult who still support the Liar, the Cheat, the Fraud, and the Rapist.

IT'S NOT THE DEMOCRATS' FAULT THAT REPUBLICANS HAVE GONE MENTAL!

  10. Sorry FJ, that's not how RE taxes work. Nor RE evaluations.

Trump, because of how he valued his properties, got access to capital, at better rates than other honest people. Sure, he paid his bills, but his lies allowed him better terms, better access and outsized influence.

And apparently, in NY, that is a crime.

    Just is...

  11. Dean... we know ppl like you will vote for Trump.

And that is the problem in America today.

  12. Here's what we're faced with at the end of the day...

Ppl like Dean and -FJ, though not Skud, because he's been upfront that he can't support Trump, hate Biden they'll support what former GOP strategist Tim Miller [no relation] calls a...

"FELONIOUS MANIAC WHO ATTEMPTED A COUP AND HAS SAID HE WANTS TO END THE CONSTITUTION AND ASSASSINATE HIS POLITICAL ENEMIES."

Maybe the _FJ and Dean folks can explain why, specifically they support someone like what Miller described...

  13. Well, as many have said, perception is most people's reality. And it is true. The MAGA folks believe their perceptions (actual delusion) are actual reality. As it is their reified beliefs, even against volumes of evidence to the contrary, nothing is going to convince them otherwise. Unfortunately the entire country suffers as a result. But hey, each to their own.

  14. The republicans are no better than the democrats in their selections of candidates. They ran the -H- which resulted in trump winning and they ran joey b because their other selections were not acceptable to anyone. Now the majority of democrats want to not have joey b so at least there are some democrats who have any sense.
PBS, who as you know is a right wing service, says 'Most Democrats don’t want Biden to seek a 2nd term" and even nbc says 44% of democrats prefer joey b.

As to the statement the majority of republicans want trump can you provide proof. Like menendez who is innocent until proven guilty, so is donnie according to the law but not according to the media. An indictment does not prove guilty or not.

  15. Cassidy Hutchinson talked about how difficult it was for here to "make the break" from Trump.

She really loved him, but suffered from the delusion that "better people" around him could influence his behavior.

People never learn seem to learn authoritarian leaders NEVER change. History shows how loyalists to tyrants will choose to die in the bunker with dear leader, or literally drink his koolade.

That is what millions of Americans are also choosing.

  16. Skud... again, at the end of the day are choices look to be this...

An aging president running for reelection. A basically good guy who has served his country as a leader for over 40 years. Not always well, but, at least I believe, the best he could. He's a religious man, FWIW and understands when people hurt and need comfort and empathy. Will he serve out his term if reelected? I don't know. Like a lot of Dems, I wish he would not run.

    But here we are.

Now, on the other side, we have another aging guy. But Tim Miller is not wrong. Trump is a "FELONIOUS MANIAC WHO ATTEMPTED A COUP AND HAS SAID HE WANTS TO END THE CONSTITUTION AND ASSASSINATE HIS POLITICAL ENEMIES."

I'll take Biden on his worst day over Trump. Anytime.

  17. Rev, You have not done your homework if you think that joey b is basically a good guy. In all his time in politics, which is all his life, he has accomplished little and lied about just about everything. He is religious who goes against the beliefs of his faith, he is promoting illegal entry into the country by doing nothing about it and he is crushing the middle class with his green agenda and his inflation policies of just spend as much a possible on his vote buying agenda.

I know everything is about trump with the left but there are those who do not support trump and want honest people to run the government.

  18. Dave,

Banks don't do "due diligence" vs "valuations"? It's Trump's responsibility to accurately assess his real estate holding's "value"? Who knew?

Or was Trump applying as a minority, and therefore didn't need a down payment? The CFPS was backing him with a FANNIE/FREDDIE exception, and FHA had volunteered to bail out defaulters from the funds of all the "honest" mortgagees?

  20. Skud... and yet, that bad guy Joey B, as you call him, as bad as you think he is, has never stood by for three hours as the US Capitol was attacked, overrun, vandalized and a wild mob beat over 100 US officers and went looking for the vice president in order to "Hang Mike Pence."

As bad as Joey B is in your opinion, has he ever said a political opponent deserved to be hung, as Trump did with Pence, or suggest a US military leader with whom he disagrees, in this case, the Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff, should be executed for treason?

Has he? No he has not. He has also never singled out a specific US war hero like John McCain and called him a loser. Never.

So as bad as you may think Biden is, he's better on his worst day than Trump on any day.

And if Trump really is the nominee, I'd vote for tree stump over Trump all day long.

And I bet everyone of those injured officers who were beat for hours while President Trump stood by and did nothing, will do so also.

    Even the conservative ones.

  21. Rev,, You do go right to trump is worse in all discussions instead of discussing the post. Joey b gives a speech on his environment agenda and hatred of the oil industry while he flies his personal 747 to the event. Uses Marine one to commute to his water front home almost every weekend. Yes trump flew in the same aircraft if that answers your question but he didn't punish the middle class by attacking the oil companies. Trump is pure pond scum and I do not understand why anyone is supporting him. Joey b is an incompetent politician who's biggest accomplishment is never holding a private sector job and accomplishing little in over 40 years on the public dole. Neither of these individuals should hold the office of the president and if we allow that to happen it is our fault.
