HUNTER BIDEN GUILTY

The two statements below show the glaring difference between Trump and President Biden.

Trump does NOT believe in the American justice system when HE is held accountable for his crimes, and has shown that he and his MAGAs are willing to destroy our Constitution in service to a despot, Trump.

President Biden affirms his belief in our system of justice, even when it convicts his own son.

Trump is a danger to our system of government; Biden preserves, protects, and defends the Constitution.

Brooklyn Dad Defiant:

"Some interesting points to think about in the aftermath of the Hunter Biden guilty verdict:

 - Hunter Biden was convicted in the state of Delaware, where the Bidens decidedly have a "home court" advantage -- for the people who say trump couldn't get a fair trial in NYC because they hate him, just look at Delaware.

 - There was no ridiculous daily parade of same-suit-wearing Senators and members of Congress in the court; just Hunter's mom and family members.

 - David Weiss, the prosecutor who went after Hunter in this case, was a trump-appointee. President Biden could have had him replaced, but decided to let the justice system play itself out. Because he BELIEVES in the process.

 - Unlike his disgraced, unhinged, convicted felon predecessor, President Biden did not lash out against prosecutors, or the judge, members of the judge's family, or witnesses. Neither did Hunter Biden.

 - Unlike trump, there were no delays or stupid stunts in this trial.

 - President Biden said he will NOT pardon his son.

 - If President Biden were interfering in the justice system as has been alleged by his detractors, there are so many different ways this could have played out.

 - You will NOT be hearing Democrats tearing down the justice system in the aftermath of this verdict, baselessly declaring it to be rigged, despite the fact that he may have been prosecuted BECAUSE his name is Biden.

Most important: NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. "

PRESIDENT BIDEN'S STATEMENT ON HUNTER BIDEN'S CONVICTION :

"As I said last week, I am the President, but I am also a Dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today. So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery. As I also said last week, I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal. Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support. Nothing will ever change that."

The Shallow State @OurShallowState ·

Here's Hunter Biden's brief statement, which shows the same grace, measure, and respect for the process as did his mother and his father, the President. The Bidens and Trumps are not even of the same species.

  1. The MAGAs support worthless human trash Trump who doesn't believe in our justice system.

Today we saw a class act from Biden who supports his son and our justice system.

  2. How unique and refreshing. In the debased vernacular of the times, he should have accused the judge of being biased, being stupid and unworthy of a law degree. He should have listed the names and addresses of the jurors, so his minions could threaten and harass them and whine that the media was out to get him. I guess that only works for orange faced politicians with blow over dyed hair and a spectacularly skewed ego. We live in interesting times.

  3. BB... the lefty minions don't usually act to kill opponents. That seems to be a trait peculiar to the MAGA/racist/conservative/gun rights crowd.

  4. We could view this from a maga take. Trump has 34 convictions to Hunter's three. That makes Trump 10 times greater. And Trumo isn't done yet. He'll show them Bidens. Bwa ha ha...

  8. As we take another assault weapon off the streets and professor biden gives a speech on gun control. Seems ironic that the day the first son is convicted of having an illegal firearm the professor gives a speech on guns. Bad timing but who expected first son to be convicted.

Both sides are saying the same thing, this case should have never been brought.
Are we saying there are no facts to convict Biden?

  10. Both sides are NOT saying that. Some on both sides are saying that.

The MAGApublicans have found no facts to bring an impeachment against Biden after 9 months of investigations.

  11. Just to be clear:

Now that Hunter Biden is a convicted felon, I will NOT vote for him for POTUS!

  12. I honestly feel so sorry for the Biden family. I have an adult middle aged family member who is an addict. This has aged his parents and contributed to their stress related health problems. I can't imagine living each day when every phone call is dreaded--did he have a relapse, a call from the emergency room, a call from a detention center, or worse.

  13. I can't see why he was even charged. The 2nd amendment says nothing about owning a firearm if you are a druggie so where is the crime. Lying on a federal form is quite common place and is done daily without any punishment.
The only thing this shows is the laptop was real and russia russia was fake. Maybe we should go after shifty for spending millions and months on the russia hoax. Hunter should not go to jail for this because being a recovering druggie is not a crime.

  14. Russian interference was real. The Mueller Report explains the many areas where Russian interference influenced the 2016 election.

You obviously did not read the report, because it VERY CLEARY SAYS RUSSIAN INTERFERED. Or maybe you just don't want to face the facts.

People who call the investigation of what happened during the 2016 election the "Russian hoax" DID NOT READ THE MUELLER REPORT. Therefore, they are repeating a lie.

    NPR:

"The 448-page Mueller report contains copious detail about how Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, both by using social media to influence American voters with misinformation and by hacking into the Clinton campaign’s computers. Russian operatives also connected with WikiLeaks to release the stolen material.

Through two years of this investigation, through the indictment of 34 individuals, and then spelled out clearly in his final report, Robert Mueller made one thing crystal clear: Russia attempted to interfere with our 2016 election.

The Russians created fake hashtags, like #KidsForTrump. They bought thousands of online ads. They impersonated U.S. citizens and set up political rallies, like a 2015 Confederate rally in Houston.

The Mueller report lays out how this ensnared real American political operatives, including the Trump campaign and its allies.

Donald Trump Jr. and top advisers like Kellyanne Conway all retweeted these fake accounts."

  15. Russia interfered with the election but shifty spent 30 million trying to prove trump was the person heading this up and he couldn't prove it. At least the russians did some good and prevented -H- from getting elected. They played a minor part in he defeat but there were enough voters who thought she was disgusting and caused her defeat.

  16. I will NEVER understand many of my fellow Americans.

Skudrunner says the Russians did some good by interfering in the 2016 election because their interference prevented “disgusting” Hillary Clinton from winning the presidency.

In Skudrunner’s world, America was saved from electing Hillary, who has NEVER been indicted for ANY crime EVER, and instead ended up with a man of low character, who is a Liar, a Cheat, a Fraud, and who is an adjudicated sexual assaulter/rapist, tax fraudster, and convicted felon, who is facing more criminal indictments, and who promises to be a dictator on day one if re- elected.

This is how millions of Americans think, and why our democracy is in peril.

IMO, those Americans have lost all reason, and are incapable of critical thinking.

  17. skudzy, like so many millions of his fellow MAGAchumps live in a non reality that ultimately, if not altered, will result in them being enslaved by their delusions.

  18. Les,

I'm astounded by skudrunner's belief that America was spared from having a president (Hillary Clinton) who has no criminal record; who knows how our American government and jurisprudence works; and who was absolutely qualified to be POTUS, deserved a low-life serial adulterer, rapist, tax fraudster, convicted felon, and crook who's facing more criminal indictments.

skud and the rest of the MAGAs do not think very highly of their country, IMO.

  19. The DNC gave us trump because -H- was so unpopular and incapable of leading. She was promised the nomination for supporting BHO and dropping out. The republicans didn't spend six years looking for something to convict her on because she was thrown to the sideline and there was no reason. The DNC decided to put the senile old guy up instead of -H- because they knew she was so disliked that they may not win the prize with her as their candidate.

Trump is guilty of many things and the democrats and press have done an excellent job of making the trump trials the leading news event. It takes away from the senile guys antics and lack of leadership on the world stage.

  20. I gotta admit Skudrunner is kind of correct about Trump's victory. In my experience people vote against rather than for more often than not. It was Comey with his ill advised reopening of the Hillary investigation that convinced just enough people in a couple states to elect Trump. The negative campaign against her lasted 20 years or so. Her negatives were high whether she deserved them or not. Time will tell if this works against Biden. I don't think they will. Of course it will be somewhat close since 42 % of the electorate will vote Trump no matter what. It may well depend on the Black vote. We'll see how the suppression effort works this time.

There's no game. Both Trump and Hunter Biden broke the law. And breaking the law, should and does have consequences. Now there is prosecutorial discretion involved, but that usually revolves around whether or not a DA or an AG can get a conviction.

They don't bring charges in cases they reasonably believe they are not going to win.

In the Trump case, Bragg felt, correctly, that under NY law, he had a pretty good chance of winning. Just as Weiss felt, under federal law, the US would prevail in the Biden case.

Justice, and the American people have been served in both cases, in spite of all the carping from the know nothing false and alternative fact people among us.

"I can't see why he was even charged."

I don't even know how to respond to this Skud. Hunter Biden broke the law. As such, he was charged because the AG office, under Merrick Garland, chose not to interfere in an investigation that started in the Trump Admin.

That's what an independent DOJ does.

Further, the DOJ does not bring cases they don;t think they'll win, as evidenced by their over 95% conviction rate.

As law & order conservatives used to say, "Break the law, go to jail" and "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."

As for your "russia russia" and laptop stuff, here's a nice read that covers a lot of that with facts, evidence, back up and gives credit where it's due for sourcing the laptop.

Something rarely in evidence when it comes to that chapter in election history.

  23. Skud... regarding the good you said Russia did when you admitted they meddled our elections. You said "prevented -H- from getting elected."

    Really?

I have more respect for the clowns who deny ANY Russian influence that I do now for you. At least they can claim ignorance. You, on the other hand, see influence in our elections, which you admit happened, from our enemies as good, because your favored candidate won.

Any American who praises an enemy of the US for meddling in our elections should be ashamed of themselves, even as the purport to want to MAGA.

Your statement of praise for Russia and their work to sow discord in and destroy free, fair and democratic elections in the US is disgusting.

  24. skudrunner "The DNC gave us trump because -H- was so unpopular and incapable of leading."

    Really, skud? REALLY?

Hillary Clinton won the POPULAR vote by 3 MILLION VOTES. How in the world does that make her "so unpopular?" Just because you say so? It doesn't work that way, skud. If we elected our presidents by popular vote, like the rest of the democratic countries do, Hillary Clinton would be serving her second term.

To state that she was "unpopular" is INCORRECT. MORE AMERICANS VOTED FOR HER THAN VOTED FOR TRUMP!

Only Hillary haters and those who choose to remain willfully ignorant of the facts maintain that Hillary was unpopular. A very narrow amount of electoral votes handed Trump the election. The electoral college DID NOT REFLECT THE WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

As a result, we got stuck with a criminal in the White House.

It was ONLY because of an 18th century law written by 18th century men for a country that sanctioned slavery, denied the vote for women and non-property owning white men that caused Hillary the 2016 election.

SKUD: "Trump is guilty of many things and the democrats and press have done an excellent job of making the trump trials the leading news event. It takes away from the senile guys antics and lack of leadership on the world stage."

S.K.: That's a bunch of malarkey for which you provide ZERO evidence.

    I, OTOH, have receipts:

"In the third year of his presidency, U.S. President Joe Biden receives mostly positive reviews from publics around the world. Across 23 countries in a new Pew Research Center survey, a median of 54% express confidence in Biden, while 39% say they lack confidence in him.

Similarly, overall views of the United States are largely positive: A median of 59% give the U.S. a favorable rating, including around seven-in-ten or more in Poland, Israel, South Korea, Nigeria, Japan and Kenya.

And this is why we're so divided. A guy like skud, who I believe is a good man, actually is okay with a foreign country, headed by a murderous criminal dictator, interfering in our elections by criminal and devious means, just so another American he and others intensely dislike would lose the presidency that Hillary was eminently qualified for.

Enough Americans agree with skudrunner to make us a weaker and more vulnerable country.

    Our Founding Fathers weep.

  26. Rev, I am still trying to find how they interfered with the election. It would seem that if someone voted based on social media they should not vote. It would also seem that the people who voted from their couch had a better chance of being "influenced" then those who went to the polls to vote. Which candidate advocated voting from your couch?
