The nation will now EFFECTIVELY be run only with the interests of multiple millionaires, billionaires, and billion dollar mega corporations. The fertile ground for fascism to flourish.
Trump was able to dupe the under educated and struggling middle class to vote contrary to their own self interests.
And here we are.
The long road ahead is now going to turn. The scenery will be very dark indeed.
Gates, Bloomberg, Soros, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Ballmer and the list goes on for who supported harris. There is far to much spent on elections and it is coming down to pay to play. Maybe we should federally fund elections and both sides get a equal share. Harris raised 998 million and trump raised 392 million so I guess you can say the money spent on harris was wasted. Lot of money spent to get a 400K job.
If this election was any indication of buying and election the harris campaign spent over one billion dollars to lose. Seems to be no matter how much was spent it is the candidate that matters and the message they deliver.
These were the TOP billionaires. The billionaires you listed contributed less than the billionaires listed on the post. Maybe you didn't understand that Harris had only 4 months to launch and conduct a presidential campaign. Trump had 4 YEARS, and he spent most of his $$$ on his well-deserved litigation.
Harris's campaign spent the money trying to win the presidency against a convicted criminal and adjudicated rapist. It was money well spent but futile in a country that, IMO and many others', has lost its moral compass.
We're called "elitist" to point out that 54% of the US population reads below a 4th grade level.
The region that has, among US states, the highest numbers of educated people, lowest divorce rates, lowest unwed pregnancy rates, lowest maternal and infant mortality rates, lowest crime rates, best health care outcome rates and best health care coverage rates, the lowest poverty rates, and that sends their taxes to help support poor red states -- that region is in the Northeast, and it voted for Harris.
Anon... yes we are. But hey, let's not let facts get in the way...
Thursday I was at a local Starbucks and a Trump backer just kept walking around the building say "Drill baby drill!".
The dirty secrets about ramping up oil production in the US to tamp down prices are these...
1. US oil companies by fiduciary law must work to increase profits, nornally through lower supply and higher prices. 2. Even if we pump even more crude, the US lacks refinery capacity to refine that crude into gasoline and our current refineries are producing at 90% of capacity.
So how do prices go lower for any sustained period of time?

Just the type to fix the economic complaints of the Trump voters complaining about groceries. Will caviar be going down?

ReplyDeleteThe United States is currently producing more oil and gas than any other time in history. More than under Trump.
Yet people who voted for Trump think that Biden destroyed domestic oil production.
When you have a stupid population you get stupid results.
