  1. The United States just elected the person virtually every historian has named the worst president in the history of the country.

Apparently the American people didn't buy Kamala's celebrity "influencer" paid endorsements. They decided to "think for themselves".

    1. The American people bought a Liar, Cheat, Fraud, Convicted Felon and Adjudicated SA/Rapist's snake oil and the biggest celeb in the world, multi-billionaire Elon Musk -- the guy with 5 wives and 12 children -- he beats out Serial Adulterer, Trump, with his meager 3 wives and 5 children (that we know of).

You're living in a pathetic fantasy world if you actually believe Trump didn't use Musk's worldwide celebrity! Along with his other billionaire pals.

Trump and Musk were the sons of super rich fathers and led an ELITIST life of luxury and white privilege.

Both Biden and Harris grew up in working class, middle class homes.

If you, or any of the dupes who voted for Trump/Musk, think they give a flying donut about your economic status as middle and lower class, I have a health care plan I'd like to sell you.

    3. Another uniformed wrong comment.

VP Harris's father divorced her mother when she was 7 years old and Harris was raised, along with her sister, in a single-mother household. They did not have much money and moved around often while Harris's mother accepted teaching and then research jobs. They were never rich in $$$.

Harris was not raised in a wealthy, elitist environment, like Trump was with his multi-millionaire father.

      Get your facts straight.

    4. No, you'd better get yours straight. Her mother came from an incredibly wealthy Indian family, and her father's a slave plantation owning Jamaican one.

    5. Harris did NOT grow up in a family headed by a multi-millionaire. She was not, unlike the elitist Trump, given millions of dollars to start a business. Your comparison is nonsense and, to be fair, stupid.

Trump is the elitist who grew up in an elitist coastal city in the northeast and has been a privileged white male who had every advantage millions and millions of dollars can give to a mediocre human being so that he could fail upward to the point of attaining the highest position of power in the world via help from the Russians.

Trump will always be the first convicted felon and adjudicated rapist to sit at the Resolution Desk, and he will always be a shameful stain on our American history.

  4. You do hone in on the adjudicated rapist theme which means he was found guilty by a prejudiced judge not a jury. He was convicted of rape that happened 25 years ago which she did not report. She couldn't remember the date, the time, what she was wearing. She did know it happened just after trump was in the presidential race which is very convenient and follows a pattern.

Can't the dems find something that happened within the last ten years to accuse trump/kavanaugh of doing. BTW what happened to christine ford, did she just take the money and go into hiding?

    1. Associated Press: Jury finds Trump liable for sexual abuse, awards accuser $5M

You did not hear the evidence; the jury did. You know NOTHING about this case, only what you read in the Trump-friendly press or heard in the Trump-friendly media.

Also, because you're a male, you have no idea what it was like for a female to report a rape in the time frame that E. Jean Carroll was digitally raped by Trump. #1 The victims often became the objects of ridicule and shame: "What were you wearing? Did you flirt with him? Why didn't you scream?"

#2 Trump had the reputation of sending his "fixer" personal lawyer to intimidate and scare off anyone daring to accuse him of anything. FACT. Michael Cohen himself attested to this.

#3 Trump accused himself of sexually assaulting women in the famous Access Hollywood tape produced just before the 2016 election. “I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”

#4 Trump is a sexual predator and pig.

But thanks for showing us what you think of women who are raped:

You defend the rapists by thinking that because the rape happened years ago, the rapist should get away with it.

      Tell that to your daughters.

    2. If you know something the judge and jury didn't find out during the trial, come forward and help Trump escape justice for what he did:

Judge says E Jean Carroll allegation Trump raped her is ‘substantially true’ in court dismissal

Ex-president claimed that writer defamed him when saying he raped her, but judge said term is commonly ‘used and understood’ in context

When you get your information ONLY from Trump-friendly sources, you're not getting the truth.

  5. He was not found guilty of rape by a jury as you indicate. He was found guilty of sexual abuse but you keep calling it rape which is untrue unless substantially true is a verdict by the jury. You are letting hate overtake judgement.

    1. Wrong. You failed to read the details of the jury's and judge's finding:

      USAToday, 1/29/24:

"When E. Jean Carroll and Donald Trump went to trial last spring over her sexual assault allegations, a nine-person civil jury found that Trump sexually abused her but that she failed to prove he raped her.

The former president made hay of that distinction when he sued Carroll in June, alleging Carroll defamed him by saying she was raped in a media interview after the verdict.

The counterattack was quickly shot down.

Federal Judge Lewis Kaplan ruled in August that the jury verdict showed Carroll's rape allegation was "substantially true" and dismissed the counterclaim."

Did Donald Trump rape E. Jean Carroll? Here's what a jury and judge said.

Note: This story contains graphic descriptions of sexual abuse that may be offensive to some readers or painful to survivors of sexual assault.

When E.

So did a jury find Trump raped Carroll, or didn't it?

      E. Jean Carroll, a New York-based advice columnist, sued Donald Trump alleging he raped her in a luxury New York department store dressing room in the 1990s.

      How New York defines 'rape'

The answer has to do with what "rape" means.

Because the jurors rendered their May verdict in a civil case, they were asked only whether Carroll proved her allegation was probably true. In a criminal case, prosecutors would need to prove the allegation beyond a reasonable doubt.

Carroll testified that she struggled to get Trump off her as he shoved his mouth on hers, yanked her tights down, and penetrated her with his hand and then his penis. She described him curving his finger inside her, saying it was "extremely painful" and "a horrible feeling."

Under New York criminal law, an assault constitutes "rape" only if it involves vaginal penetration by a penis. That was the definition the jury was instructed to use in the civil case.

By responding "no" to the question of whether Carroll proved Trump raped her, the jurors indicated they weren't convinced Trump penetrated Carroll with his penis, according to Kaplan, who first wrote about the issue in July when he denied Trump a new trial in the sexual abuse case.

But the jurors' conclusion that Trump sexually abused Carroll "necessarily implies" that they did, in fact, believe he penetrated her with his fingers, Kaplan said.

      Here was his reasoning:

Kaplan noted his instruction to the jury that, for Trump to have sexually abused Carroll, Trump needed to have touched her sexual or intimate parts. The only allegations from Carroll that could possibly fit that bill were forcible kissing, pulling down her tights, and vaginal penetration, he said.

Kaplan has also pointed to the size of the jury's sexual abuse award − more than $2 million − as bolstering his conclusion that the verdict was based on finding Trump forcibly penetrated Carroll with his hand.

And that act, in common modern speech, is rape, Kaplan said.

As he later summed it up in August, when he dismissed Trump's countersuit: "It accordingly is the 'truth,' as relevant here, that Mr. Trump digitally raped Ms. Carroll."

This is what a judge and a court of law found. Trump digitally raped E. Jean Carroll.

Trump is a rapist. And millions of foolish people voted to put a rapist in the WH>

  6. Unfortunately, skud, you and many other Americans look for simplistic answers to very complicated issues. But the fact is that a jury and judge adjudicated E. Jean Carroll's claim that Trump penetrated her with his fingers and that in the "common modern speech" is rape. He forcefully penetrated her vagina.

Ask any girl or woman if a man did that to them, should that man get away with that crime.

  7. "Under New York criminal law, an assault constitutes "rape" only if it involves vaginal penetration by a penis"
Didn't happen even according to carroll so it was not criminal rape but was deemed SA. Thanks for clearing up the explanation.

    1. I put up the explanation of why what Trump did to E. Jean Carroll is rape, according to the presiding judge. The judge, not you, made the statement. Trump used his fingers to penetrate a woman's vagina. Penetration by an sexual assaulter is rape. Sexual assault=rape. Period.

      Trump is a sexual assaulter/rapist.

But he will always have you to defend his despicable crime.
