Apparently the president you support and voted for, does not share your views on the meaning of the day. So pardon me if I'm a little cynical. I spent the day visited by all the ghosts of all the veterans for whom no one remains to remember them. While as individuals their energies would fade away, as a unit they are remembered, as a whole they continue. Not going to lie, it was like walking with extra weights on every part of me. To say I moved slowly would be an understatement.
