A favorite since my childhood:
Makes me miss the principles of federalism... and old Catholic Maryland. Back when we were the United State(s) of America and every State was a little European country/ Swiss canton... :)
I learned to love Tom Lehrer listing to Dr Demento from 6-10 on Sunday nights. He was a regular on the Drs Weekly Top Ten of crazy songs.
Ha! I came to say the same thing! Only Dr. Demento was on Saturday nights at 7:00 in the Twin Cities. Poisoning Pigeons in the Park was my favorite...
Nice Possum... I once sent him a record, Peter Ponsil and his Tonsils" that of course he played and mentioned my name. My first 15 seconds of fame.
We retired chemists like the elements song.
I knew you’d love to hear it again. Lehrer was brilliant.
