TRUMP EMBARRASSES AMERICA AGAIN ON THE GLOBAL STAGE

@ Tom Nichols & @RadioFreeTom • 5h

I would say that it's a dangerous thing to show the world that the American president is clearly suffering from some kind of disordered emotional issue, but by this point, there's not a country on the planet that didn't already know it.

Trump: But you know, we have a border, strong, and we have a shape and the shape doesn't just go straight up. That shape is amorphous when it comes to the atmosphere.

Trump to the UN: “I'm really good at this stuff. Your countries are going to hell.”

Trump to the UN: "Everyone says I should get the Nobel Peace Prize."

Trump a few days ago: I hate my opponents I don’t wish them well

Trump today: I should get the Nobel Peace prize Trump:

Trump:  Many years ago a very successful real estate developer in New York known as Donald J. Trump, I bid on the renovation and rebuilding of this very UN complex. I said at the time that I would do it for $500 million.  They decided to go another direction that produced a far inferior product. I realized they did not know what they were doing when it came to construction…

Trump: "I'm really good at predicting things. During the campaign they had a hat -- a best-selling hat -- 'Trump was right about everything.' And I don't say that in a braggadocios way, but it's true. I've been right about everything."

I think most people feel sorry for the United States right now because of Trump.

They realize that he is a disaster The entire speech lasted about an hour with his usual ramblings. Now the entire world can see how crazy he is.

So embarrassing for America. Trump's speech had everything: lies, hatefulness, lunacy. All it needed was a laugh track.

Ishaan Tharoor:

A senior foreign diplomat posted at the UN texts me: "This man is stark, raving mad. Do Americans not see how embarrassing this is?"

Summary of Trump's speech to the UN today:

  1. Your countries all suck.
  2. None of you know what you are doing.
  3. The US is better at everything.
  4. All because of me.
  5. I'm right about everything.
  6. You should listen to me & do what I say.
  7. And give me lots of awards.

  1. Trump is what Dr. John Gartner calls malignant narcissism rotting into dementia, an incoherent, paranoid ruin, sadistic and fading fast, a festering ruin of cruelty and decay unfit for power yet hell-bent on burning the republic with him.

  2. Saw only the last 8 or 10 minutes if his speech. And I'm so thankful I dud.

America is losing status big time in the world arena. China is arising. The game is changing and it will not be in America's direction any longer.

Donald little man tRump only knows how to embarrass America. His malignant narcissism and advancing dementia will only continue in decline.

America, you should have done better. Now we and the world suffers his unbelievable stupidity as well.

  3. Tom Nichols: “The thing is, he's talking to an audience that knows the truth about all of this international issues, and they must be amused (or horrified, or both) watching a president who has a poorly-schooled child's view of the world.“

  5. “Trump embarrassed himself & the U.S. in his dystopian speech at the U.N. today. I won't quote his comments because they do not deserve repeating. Leave it to say he is a lunatic who does not represent our values. If ever the 25th Amendment was written for anyone, it was for him”. —Henry M. Rosenberg

  6. Skud, I didn’t publish your comment because this post was about the disaster of a performance by Trump at the UN in front of the world, embarrassing America, not an opportunity to trash Kamala Harris, which you did after
briefly mentioning that Trump was awful today.

    1. I just shared their similarities. Neither of them can put together a cohesive sentence. He is all about his greatness and she is all about it was everyone’s fault but mine.
The UN is about as useless as NATO and we fund both. The good thing about his speech is few people listened.

    2. The good thing about the speech is that it further displayed tRump's malignant narcissism and abject stupidity in front of the ENTIRE world. Again.

The world is finally beginning to walk away from American arrogance and its manipulative self-serving bullshit.

The presence of the felon tRump on the world stage, insulting and demeaning nearly everyone at one time or another really does not strengthen one's position and argument

Further, America's blind support for the Zionist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu and its horric genocide of Palestinians over the past 2+ years accelerated the world's move to rightfully recognize Palestinians right to freedom, self determination, sovereignty, and statehood. A right that never should have been denied them. Period. Full Stop.

tRump's ignorant, stupid, and life threatening position on global warming is also something the global community of nations rejects. The rest of the planet is not as stupid and narcissisticly self serving as the FOTUS and his sycophants of MAGA.

Attempting to live in the past, with the same outdated reified self serving beliefs skud always fails. One only need be slightly aware to understand this. The FOTUS is one very unaware person and it is having a great effect on not only the US but on shifting alliances across the globe. And America will be part of the out crowd>/b> unless it reigns in tRump and does some deep soul searching.

tRump is a disgrace to America and the sooner he is gone the better. The 25th sounds like a good plan. But... they're all... like tRump. So there's that.

    3. Obviously Skud missed the debate between Trump and Harris.
Anyone with half a brain could see she wiped the floor with him.

Unless...are they STILL eating the dogs in Springfield, Skud?

  7. Brooklyn DAD: “On the global stage, in front of world leaders, he is reading a bullshit MAGA rally speech, claiming to have stopped 7 wars, taken in an impossible $17 trillion dollars and ended inflation.

    THOSE ARE BLATANT LIES.

Everyone in the room knows it: Rubio, Melania, all the world leaders are looking at our President like he's a dementia patient.

He's whining about not getting the Nobel Peace Prize, about his busted teleprompter, marble floors, getting stuck on an escalator. And now his loud Adderall sniff has kicked in audibly.

The entire planet knows we are being led by a guy who doesn't even have a fraction of the intellect, dignity, or ability of his predecessor, President Biden.

If you are a patriot, regardless of your political affiliation, you are sickened by this bizarre, rambling, horrendous speech, his worst EVER.

    What an embarrassment.”

  8. Trump made other news yesterday when he said NATO should shoot down Russian planes that stray into NATO territory and said he now believes Ukraine can win and should get their territory back.

That's welcome news, but today's a new day. Let's see if he walks it back or stands up.

  9. Michael Jochum:

“Watching Trump strut into the UN General Assembly and declare, with that cocksure carnival barker confidence, that his “administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country” was the moment I nearly lost my breakfast. And then, the laughter.
The entire General Assembly of the United Nations laughed at him. Not with him. At him. You cannot make this shit up. The supposed leader of the free world, reduced to a punchline in a room filled with the planet’s actual adults.

Trump, you are exhausting. Every single day is a grotesque science experiment: how long can 300 million people endure the sound of your banshee-larynx farts before we all take an ice auger to our own assholes just for relief? Every syllable that sprays out of your mouth feels like a dare: How much more of this can you take before you crawl inside yourself and try to naturalize your sigmoid colon as a British territory?

You bragged about America’s booming economy, about being “stronger, safer, and richer than ever before,” as if reading bullet points off a Trump Tower brochure somehow overwrites the fact that you handed billions to corporations and the ultra-rich while telling the working poor they should thank you for it. You slobbered praise on dictators, winked at pedophiles, and defended literal Nazis, yet there you were, chest puffed, basking in your own hot fumes as the world rolled its eyes hard enough to register on the Richter scale.

Ninety-nine percent of what comes out of your mouth is either false, insane, cruel, or some rancid jambalaya of all three. And still, you get up there and sell it like you’re the second coming of Lincoln, Washington, and Christ rolled into one sweaty, ill-fitting Brioni suit.

We are tired. Tired of the lies, the chest-thumping, the constant humiliation of watching you mistake ridicule for applause.

The world is laughing, Donald. Not because you’re funny, but because you’re too dumb to realize the joke is you.“
