The Chris Hedges Report: The Epstein Files

Yes, Trump is in them.

  1. The Epstein files, which according a client list on her desk before they didn't, will never see the light of day. In the abstract, I am fine with that. I don't have any real need to see all the sordid details.

But the Trump Campaign and Administration said THEY would release the files, so I think they should, for that reason alone.

    But don't count on it.

  2. Agreed. But they won't. Now that they know tRump's name is found within the files.

A cover up to rival Watergate. If not even more egregiously inappropriate.

  3. I find it shocking that trump was in those files, just kidding. Everyone knows he was included as were hundreds of other "important" people many of them congress creeps and billionaires like bill gates.
Now what is to be served by making the list public. Embarrass trump comes to mind but by doing so you expose hundreds of other's like bill clinton and other prominent politicians from both sides. I haven't heard bill or -H- say publish the list and show us the pictures of course neither has gavin.

    1. Skud... Trump himself said he'd release the files. As did his AG. His FBI nominee Patel said he'd release the files. This is all the making of the MAGA crowd, including Trump, Patel, Bondi, Bognino and others who were sure release would make Dems and Clinton look bad.

No Dem leaders called for release until Trump bailed on his promise. And remember, the Biden DOJ had those files and chose not to release them.

For which the GOP criticized them.

This is a "gate", a scandal of Republican making. Pure and simple.

Not everyone named in the files were raping young girls. We don't know why so many of those in the Epstein files were visiting Epstein at his mansion in Manhattan, his mansion on his private island, his ranch in New Mexico, and his mansion in Palm Beach.

What we DO know is that underage young GIRLS were being raped. And we know this from them, the victims, in their testimony.

I personally do not care who is named, since I and millions of other Americans believe anyone who frequented any of Epstein's many lairs to rape children should be brought to justice and NOT protected by the Trump administration, which is what Trump and his personal lawyer, Pam Bondi, appear to be doing: PROTECTING PEOPLE WHO RAPED CHILDREN.

That will be part of the rot from this Trump administration that will condemn them for eternity: THEY ARE PROTECTING RICH AND POWERFUL MEN FROM AROUND THE WORLD WHO RAPED CHILDREN.

    Trump's legacy for eternity.

And it will always be part of America's shame. Nixon was a saint when compared to tRump.

  6. I'm with you Shaw... if the Clinton's are in those files doing some nasty stuff, prosecute them. But I doubt that's the case or the Trump 1 DOJ would have filed in the first admin.

This whole thing is an own goal for the Trump Admin and the conspiracy clowns. Now their own idiocy has come around and caught them by the tail... pun intended.

    1. If anyone needed more evidence to understand why Trump is so distrusted and disliked by a majority of the American people, here is what happened today:

"The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal on October 6, 2025, which means her sex-trafficking conviction will stand. The justices did not provide a reason for rejecting her request to overturn her conviction."

"Trump says he’ll decide whether to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell, after SCOTUS declined to hear her appeal of her conviction:

Reporter: “But she’s convicted of child sex-trafficking.”

Trump: “Yeah, I mean, I’m gonna have to take a look at it.”

Ghislaine was convicted by a jury for child sex-trafficking and for participating with her partner, Jeffrey Epstein, in the rape of underage girls. The victims of Ghislaine's and Epstein's crimes gave testimony under oath on what they did. Some victims were as young as 10, 11, and 12 years old, according to what is in the Epstein files! There is no reason for ANY "looking at it" whatsoever for the heinous crimes Ghislaine committed. Ever!

But make no mistake. These crimes were committed by very very rich and very, very powerful men. And Trump is now on record saying he's going to "have to take a look at it!"

Why would he take such an extraordinarily hideous action such as that?

      Can anyone answer that question?

  7. Hey MAGA defend this! Explain how this is okay with you please, considering pardoning a convicted child sex trafficker, one of the most infamous ones in recent history.

    1. Trump said he would "take a look at it." The correct answer about pardoning a child-rapist is, "ABSOLUTELY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY NO! I WILL NOT CONSIDER A PARDON." Unless, of course, you believe in protecting your friend who raped children.
