"The Justice Department has withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor."

BREAKING:  The New York Times just confirmed reports that Trump's Justice Department tried to cover up reports that indicated Trump assaulted a minor in the 1980s. Wow!

"Under the law, the Justice Department can redact material that could be used to identify Mr. Epstein’s victims, depicted violence or child sexual abuse, or would hurt a continuing federal investigation. But the law expressly prohibited federal officials from withholding or redacting materials 'on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm or political sensitivity' to public figures."

Did Trump's DoJ break the law to protect Trump?

Do you think his cultists will give a damn? Are they so beguiled by Trump that they'll ignore this hideous report? Would they have ignored this had it been about Mr. Obama?

IMO, no! There's a stench coming from the DoJ, and it smells like a crime.

Why is the DoJ covering up these credible allegations?  Are the American people really okay with having a POTUS accused of these sorts of heinous crimes against children?

Do you understand now why Trump put lackeys in charge of the DoJ? An innocent man would not have done so; he would have demanded all Epstein files be released to show his innocence.

Justice Department withheld and removed some Epstein files related to Trump

"The Justice Department has withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor, an NPR investigation finds. It also removed some documents from the public database where accusations against Jeffrey Epstein also mention Trump.8

Some files have not been made public despite a law mandating their release. These include what appears to be more than 50 pages of FBI interviews, and notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse decades ago when she was a minor.

NPR reviewed multiple sets of unique serial numbers appearing before and after the pages in question, stamped onto documents in the Epstein files database, FBI case records, emails and discovery document logs in the latest tranche of documents published at the end of January. NPR's investigation found dozens of pages that appear to be catalogued by the Justice Department but not shared publicly."

"The woman who directly named Trump in her abuse allegation claimed that around 1983, when she was around 13 years old, Epstein introduced her to Trump 'who subsequently forced her head down to his exposed penis which she subsequently bit. In response, Trump punched her in the head and kicked her out.'

Out of more than three million pages of files released by the Justice Department in recent months, this specific allegation against Trump only appears in copies of the FBI list of claims and the DOJ slideshow."

AI inquiry:  "Recent investigations by NPR and The New York Times have revealed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) appears to have withheld or removed several files from the public Jeffrey Epstein database that contain allegations against Donald Trump.

Specific Allegation: The files describe an unverified claim from a woman who stated she was between 13 and 15 years old when she was introduced to Trump by Epstein in the mid-1980s. She alleged that Trump sexually assaulted her and physically struck her.

The "Missing" Records: While one 2019 FBI interview summary was released, at least three other interview memos and more than 50 pages of notes related to this woman's claims are reportedly missing from the public disclosure.

Internal FBI Email: An internal FBI email from July 2025 noted that one identified victim "claimed abuse by Trump but ultimately refused to cooperate".

Congressional Investigation: House Oversight Committee Democrats, led by Rep. Robert Garcia, launched a formal inquiry in February 2026 to investigate why these documents were withheld, alleging a potential violation of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Current Status: DOJ officials have stated that the claims are unverified and uncorroborated, and that the department has no basis for new criminal prosecutions following its review of the files. Trump has consistently denied the allegations.

**************************

The victim was interviewed by the FBI four times.

The last time was the day before Jeffrey Epstein died

The Epstein file cover up, with the DOJ working in concert with the FBI to withhold and potentially destroy any evidence and documents that would damage Trump, is the biggest political scandal in American history.

  1. I have no idea why the Trump Administration, in defiance of the law passed by Congress and signed by President Trump himself, would defy a law requiring transparency and the release of these files.

Trump is after all, a great president, open, honest and forthright in all his dealings in business, with Congress and with the American people.

I'm sure there must be a good reason he has chosen to break a law he signed and that he swore to uphold when he took his oath of office, I just can't think of it at the moment.

But I'm sure some of his more avid supporters can probably make something up.

    1. I can guarantee you this: Trump's sailing buddies over on the Mother Ship will never discuss this. And I've yet to hear any opinion about it from people like skudrunner, -FJ, and Joe Conservative.

All of us know for a fact that had this been an accusation against a Democratic president, those people would be howling from the rafters about it and a justice department covering it up!

That they have nothing to say shows us that they never cared about the rule of law, only the Rule of Trump, in all its corruption.

They are our fellow Americans whose silence tells us everything about their political and moral values.

    2. Trump has actually "killed" something, not in the middle of 5th Avenue, NY, but in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.: The Rule of Law. And his supporter DON'T CARE! They're still loyal to the criminal president.

  2. Not one iota a surprised. The criminal Trump has lined his administration with criminals he knows will support him in his criminality.

Bondi? She should be disbarewd. Her job is not to protect the criminal president.

    1. Nice try -FJ... the law clearly states what it states.

Is the Trump Admin in compliance? No it is not. And everyone who is defending the president from releasing documents his own FBI Director, Asst Director and AG said would all be released, is shielding him and others from multiple administrations, jobs and positions from responsibility for their actions and relationships with a child molester.

You should really ask yourself, a person who I normally disagree with simply on political grounds, why you are not also calling for the release of ALL the Epstein files.

Because now, for the first time, I'm wondering about your character and values. And it's the same for everyone who is not now calling for a full release and for the Trump Admin to follow the law, the president himself signed.

      It's disgusting.

If Clinton has lied about his relationships with Epstein, let's make him face the music. Same with anyone else. But you apparently do not believe that. Howard Lutnick flat out lied about his relationship with Epstein. But you're okay with that. At least in the UK and the business world, these men face some level of censure.

Why are people like you protecting the admin and others from this?

    2. It doesn't take a rocket scientist with a degree in brain surgery to figure out why Trump and his supporters don't care about releasing all the Epstein files, including those files that include a victim who said Trump raped her when she was 13 years old, and who the FBI interviewed more than a couple of times because her testimony was "credible."

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a big-time supporter of Trump gave one explanation:

Greene says Trump told her his ‘friends will get hurt’ by Epstein files

"The congresswoman also told The New York Times the president rejected her suggestion to invite the Epstein survivors to the Oval Office, saying they had not earned the honor."

That's believable. But Trump didn't mention another possibility, the release of ALL the files (mandated by Trump's own law!) would implicate him in this whole disgustingly sordid mess.

Trump's legacy will not be his creation of The Board of Peace, his immigration policies, nor his grossly egotistical building plans for the WH and other monuments to himself.

Trump and his political and personal legacy will be about protecting pedophiles who SAed children!

We will NEVER let this be forgotten!

  5. Shaw... it is interesting why our conservative fellow Americans seem to want to avoid the Epstein case at all levels. A sitting US President has made declarative statements about his relationship with perhaps, the most notorious child molester in recent US history. And records of his relationship with Epstein are being held back.

Conservatives and MAGA supporters are not clamoring for the release of records that the President says will exonerate him. Why not?

The US DOJ is holding those records hostage, refusing to follow the law Trump himself signed. Either they MUST release the records, or explain why they are not doing so. Because the law clearly states embarrassment and political fallout is not a reason to withhold those records.

The only reason, as stated in the law, is if releasing those records would jeopardize an ongoing investigation into a person or suspect. The DOJ has been asked if that is the case with the missing Trump records, and has refused comment.

Come on -FJ, Con Joe, et al... are you all really so much into hating us lefties and dems, so intent we want to destroy America that you would coddle up to a dead molester and hide records of potential crimes?

    It sure seems so!
