ReplyDeleteI will never understand those who don’t find most of Trump’s demeanor unpleasant but I’m delighted about it because he needs people who don’t mind a president saying f*** (I’ve personally heard it LIVE in speeches 3 times now), etc….calling people LUNATICS, “we’re going to ANNIHILATE Iran”, etc… Thank GOD he didn’t talk like this before the election too much….not THIS awful, anyway. He’d NOT GET ELECTED AGAIN, that’s for sure, and not just because of language. I want SO BADLY to believe in him again….so I constantly tell myself “You don’t know the background, he must think this demeanor works, he’s negotiating…”
She always criticizes Trump's hideous rhetoric and tries to convince herself that there's some method to his madness -- the way he demeans our country with his unpresidential demeanor and language. She'll never see that Trump has no "method" to his madness; he just has madness, and he's made a joke out of this once admired country.
It is tragic to see someone twist herself into a pretzel to justify and find some meaning in the "sickening moral slum" of the Trump administration. The only way to justify it is to abandon everything moral and righteous you've ever believed in. Imagine doing that for a short-fingered vulgarian like Trump. *shudder*
