Americans’ opinions on Trump’s debate debacle.

I tuned out after 15 minutes, after watching Chris Wallace lose control to a barking, interrupting, loud-mouth bully.  Joe Biden was dignified and handled Trump the way a bully should be handled, with contempt. Trump is a monster.  — S.K.

Level 1:
America, this president has shown his ass tonight. He does not deserve to sit in that chair behind the Resolute Desk; nor does he deserve the respect afforded his predecessors--he has not earned it. His performance tonight disgraced the American people. #Debates2020

“No hyperbole: The incumbent’s behavior this evening is the lowest moment in the history of the presidency since Andrew Johnson’s racist state papers.” —Historian, John Meachem

CANCEL the REMAINING PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES. It is impossible to have an orderly, productive exchange with Donald Trump. Stop pretending otherwise. #Debate2020 —Larry Sabato

“I’m a mom. I live in an upper class subdivision in Ohio. I can not stand Trump interrupting and being so disrespectful. Reminds me of my abusive Ex husband. He is unstable and in no way suitable to lead our country.”

“If @realDonaldTrump won’t follow the rules of the debate,  what are the chances he will follow the rules of the election? Zilch.”

“The whole debate is a microcosm of our national nightmare. A complete sociopath barking at everyone as everyone tries do their best to kind of work normal.”

“ I have to compliment Donald Trump on doing an excellent job at tonight’s debate of demonstrating that he is a despicable ignorant fool.”

“I've seen toddlers at birthday parties coked up on cake and Capri Suns and riding the high of terrorizing their siblings with the piñata-beating stick be more coherent and respectful of others' right to speak than the current president of the United States.”

Michelle Obama has said, "Being president doesn't change who you are; it reveals who you are."

"As the world was reminded last night, the Republican incumbent has been revealed as a scared and dishonest fraud, indifferent toward rules, limits, and reality, unable to present a platform, a vision, or a coherent message.

What viewers saw, in other words, was Donald Trump being Donald Trump -- the voice we see at the rallies, and one we read on Twitter, is the same voice he brought to the debate stage." --Steve Benen

THIS:

VAN JONES: “Only three things happened for me tonight. No. 1, Donald Trump refused to condemn white supremacy. No. 2, the president of the United States refused to condemn white supremacy. No 3., the commander in chief refused to condemn white supremacy on the global stage, in front of my children, in front of everybody’s families, and he was given the opportunity multiple times to condemn white supremacy. And he gave a wink and a nod to a racist, Nazi, murderous organization that is now celebrating online, that is now saying, ‘We have a go-ahead.’ Look at what ... the Proud Boys are doing right now online because the president of the United States refused to condemn white supremacy. That’s the only thing that happened tonight.”

America wants to know...

is Trump the Al Capone of American presidents?

People who've been paying attention and who didn't fall for Trump's cons already were pretty sure he was a "tax avoider." His cultists will say he's smart to use loop holes, legal and illegal, to not pay the government what he owes. Meanwhile his cultists and the rest of us have to make up for what Trump and others like him worm out of paying.

"The Times exposé strips the sheen off Trump’s image-making like so much imitation gold leaf. We learn that Trump evaded income taxes for many years largely through his epic financial losses," --Greg Sargent, NYTimes

Trump has been a liar, cheat, and a fraud all of his life.

And from the woman Doanld J. Trump shagged while wife #3 was giving birth to his 5th child:

"One fact stands out far above all the others in its staggering implications: Donald Trump is personally responsible for $421 million worth of loans coming due in the next few years. Not his business. Him. Personally. He has no means of repaying them. He already refinanced his few profitable properties, and sold off most of his stocks to stay afloat. He appears short on liquidity. And we still don’t know to whom he owes the money.

This fact has frightening implications for public policy and national security. Even minor debts are a frequent reason for the government to deny a security clearance, for the obvious reason that indebted and financially desperate public servants make easy marks for bribery, blackmail and potential treason. The potentially destructive power of that sort of hold on a President of the United States is beyond comprehension." --David Atkins

A Bad Night For The President (Josh Marshall/TPM) "I worried what this momentous night would bring. In the event I think it was somewhere between bad and disastrous for President Trump. The most important fact about this debate is that going into it President Trump was clearly behind. He needed to shift the dynamic of the race, force some major error, introduce some new factor. That didn’t happen. I saw nothing tonight that seems at all likely to improve things for President Trump. Nothing."

"THERE WILL BE NO TRUMP COUP IN THIS COUNTRY."

“There will be no Trump coup in this country.

The American experiment, which has endured since 1776—through civil war, world wars, and depressions—will not yield to a dime-store Mussolini who is faithless to his duty and is the worst president in American history. He will be repudiated and humiliated by history’s judgment. It is our job to make that happen.

Donald Trump is threatening the peaceful transition of power because he is losing and he is weak. Let us finish him off.

"When you hear Donald Trump threaten our democracy and stoke racial animus, do not be afraid.

When you hear him say he will not accept the results of this election, do not tremble.

When you hear him pit us against each other, do not waiver and do not flinch. He is a threat to our liberty and to our democratic institutions, and we will do what Americans have always done: we will defeat the threat.

Remember: we are Americans. E Pluribus Unum — out of many, one. We are a good people and together we will end this disgrace."

Trump's words "are the words of the First American Dictator."

UPDATE BELOW

Donald J. Trump:  “Get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a very — we’ll have a very peaceful — there won’t be a transfer frankly, there’ll be a continuation."

Well, this is a first in my lifetime. An American president has stated that he is NOT committed to a peaceful transition of power should he lose the election. In fact, he implied that there is no way he will lose the election because: "Get rid of the ballots..."

What in the name of our Founding Fathers does that mean?

Where are the people who support this president now that he's made such an anti-American, anti-Constitutional threat? Are they still talking about Joe Biden's son, Hunter? Hillary Clinton's emails? BENGHAZI!? President Obama's "57 states?"

Nothing any of the above-named Democrats said or suggested comes near to what Trump said yesterday.

"This was no typical Trump provacation: Acceding to the will of the people is the lynchpin of American democracy." --NYTimes

Refusing to commit to a peaceful transition of power should you lose is in itself a threat of violence.Yet, the leader of the GOP has no idea of how America's representative democracy works. He's a natural-born authoritarian, and admires the world's strongmen/authoritarians (He's never uttered an unkind word about Putin). And he wants another four years to FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA from a representative democracy to authoritarian rule.

Listen to his words. Listen to what they mean.

Lawrence Tribe on Twitter:

Donald J. Trump: “Get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a very — we’ll have a very peaceful — there won’t be a transfer frankly, there’ll be a continuation."

Those are not the words of an American President. They are the words of the First American Dictator.

"It really is hard to sleep when you know that one of the only two major political parties is plotting a coup against the Constitution, its leader refused to commit to a peaceful transition of power, and some of his followers are roaming the street in armed terrorist militias."

UPDATE:

Snort. Snort.

Trump was booed and met with chants of "VOTE HIM OUT!" on the steps of the Supreme Court as he paid his respects to the late Justice Ginsburg.

Not respectful? Not decent? Um, Trump long, long ago broke every rule of respect and decency.

IMO, he got what he deserved.

BREAKING NEWS!

WASHINGTON — An election-year investigation by Senate Republicans into corruption allegations against Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic presidential nominee, and his son, Hunter, involving Ukraine found no evidence of improper influence or wrongdoing by the former vice president, bringing to a close a highly politicized inquiry its leaders had hoped would tarnish President Trump’s rival.

The report asserted that Hunter Biden traded off his father’s name to close lucrative business deals around the world, and that his work for Burisma Holdings, a corrupt Ukrainian energy company while the former vice president was directing American policy toward Kyiv gave the appearance of a conflict of interest and alarmed some in the State Department. But the 87-page document released on Wednesday by the Senate Homeland Security Committee contained no evidence that the former vice president improperly manipulated American policy toward Ukraine or committed any other misdeed.

The panel’s Republican chairman, Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, had made little secret of his political ambitions for his report, boasting for weeks that his findings would demonstrate Mr. Biden’s “unfitness for office.”

Instead, the result delivered on Wednesday appeared to be little more than a rehashing of unproven allegations against Mr. Biden six weeks before Election Day, allegations that echo a Russian disinformation campaign and have been pushed by Mr. Trump and his allies. In the days before its release, Mr. Johnson conceded in an interview that there would be no “massive smoking guns,” saying that there was “a misconception on the part of the public that there would be.”

[skip]

"Republican investigators found no evidence that Mr. Biden acted inappropriately, including when he joined other nations in pushing for the ouster of Ukraine’s top prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. Mr. Trump’s pursuit of that debunked charge is what prompted his impeachment last year, after he pressured Ukraine’s leader to look into it himself."

Queue the gnashing and gnawing of teeth by the Trumpers who were counting on this report to ruin and discredit Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. They'll whine about the Dems getting away with everything without acknowledging that it is a REPUBLICAN committee that found NO EVIDENCE OF IMPROPER INFLUENCE OR WRONGDOING BY THE VICE PRESIDENT AND HIS SON.

That should shut the whiners up for a day or so. But don't count on it. There will be more conspiracy theories out there, and the Trumpers will spread them around like so much manure.

But at least we can ignore their rantings over this one.

It must be awful for them to have to continue to support a corrupt liar like Trump and then learn, through the results of their own investigating committees, that Joe Biden is a better, more honest and genuine human being than Trump is or will ever be.

Majority of Americans say wait for election to replace Justice Ginsburg

"Majority of Americans, including many Republicans, say wait for election to replace Ginsburg - Reuters poll

(Reuters) - A majority of Americans, including many Republicans, want the winner of the November presidential election to name a successor to Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Sunday."

Don't look to Trump or the GOP to honor Justice Ginsburg's wish nor what the American people want.

For the present Trumpublican Party, all they care about is grabbing and holding onto power and "payback" for the years President Obama was in office. Those, may I remind the vindictive Trumpublicans, never saw the racial unrest, divisiveness, and chaos that Trump has brought to this country. Under President Obama, the USA was admired and looked up to. We've lost all of that in 3 1/2 miserable years under Trump.

His mishandling of the Covid-19 is the absolute worst of what he's done, and Trump has managed to do a lot of awful things.

Trump is a dishonorable man; therefore, he will never honor Justice Ginsburg's dying wish.

And the truth is that because Trump has no human decency, this breach in human decency will not weigh on his conscience -- if he even has one.

So the man who has made a career of lying, cheating, and being a fraud will continue to do what a lying, cheating, fraudulent scoundrel does -- ignore the will of the American people and the reasonable wish of a dying Supreme Court Justice and nominate some far right, rabid conservative who does not represent what the majority of Americans believe in.

We are being held in thrall by a tyranny of the minority, facilitated by the IMPEACHED and corrupt Trump, William Barr, and Mitch McConnell.

May their names live in infamy in American history for all the ages.

The Rank Hypocrisy That's Rotted the Republican Party.

The GOP is no longer a political party, it's a quasi-junta. Here are the leaders of that quasi-junta earnestly telling Americans why a president in an election year should NOT nominate someone to fill a vacant Supreme Court seat.

Remember this as those who continue to speak with a forked tongue (Moscow Mitch!) twist themselves into knots to justify the nominating process 43 days before a presidential election.

Hypocritical vipers, all of them:

2016, Moscow Mitch McConnell tells Fox News Sunday, "The Senate has a role to play here. The president nominates, we decide to confirm. We think the important principle in the middle of this presidential year is that the American people need to weigh in and decide who's going to make this decision. Not this lame duck president on the way out the door, but the next president."

2016, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas): “It has been 80 years since a Supreme Court vacancy was nominated and confirmed in an election year. There is a long tradition that you don’t do this in an election year.”

2018, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.): “If an opening comes in the last year of President Trump’s term, and the primary process has started, we’ll wait to the next election.”

2016, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.): “I don’t think we should be moving on a nominee in the last year of this president’s term - I would say that if it was a Republican president.”

2016, Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.): “The very balance of our nation’s highest court is in serious jeopardy. As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I will do everything in my power to encourage the president and Senate leadership not to start this process until we hear from the American people.”

2016, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa): “A lifetime appointment that could dramatically impact individual freedoms and change the direction of the court for at least a generation is too important to get bogged down in politics. The American people shouldn’t be denied a voice.”

2016, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.): “The campaign is already under way. It is essential to the institution of the Senate and to the very health of our republic to not launch our nation into a partisan, divisive confirmation battle during the very same time the American people are casting their ballots to elect our next president.”

2016, Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.): “In this election year, the American people will have an opportunity to have their say in the future direction of our country. For this reason, I believe the vacancy left open by Justice Antonin Scalia should not be filled until there is a new president.”

2016, Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.): “The Senate should not confirm a new Supreme Court justice until we have a new president.”

2016, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Col.): “I think we’re too close to the election. The president who is elected in November should be the one who makes this decision.”

2016, Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio): “I believe the best thing for the country is to trust the American people to weigh in on who should make a lifetime appointment that could reshape the Supreme Court for generations. This wouldn’t be unusual. It is common practice for the Senate to stop acting on lifetime appointments during the last year of a presidential term, and it’s been nearly 80 years since any president was permitted to immediately fill a vacancy that arose in a presidential election year.”

2016, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.): “I strongly agree that the American people should decide the future direction of the Supreme Court by their votes for president and the majority party in the U.S. Senate.”

What happened to these self-righteous Republicans that allows them to completely reverse themselves on this crucial matter?

I'll answer my own rhetorical question: Trump has completely destroyed any honor, decency, and integrity it once had.

The GOP is NOT a political party; it is a cult. The Cult of Trump.

Vote these hypocrits out on November 3!

Non-Cultist Conservative, David Frum

Frum's informed opinion, plus a warning about how the Republicans will cheat and commit fraud in this election, and the military's alarm.

Like Trump, what's left of the GOP is a cadre of malevolent cheating anti-Americans who are hellbent on keeping a corrupt regime in power:

FRUM: "One of the perverse consequences of the MSM horror at Trump is that they have spent 3 1/2 years in terrified over-estimate of Trump's political strength and anguished poking at Democratic weaknesses.

Day in, day out, for nearly 4 years, Trump has been the most unpopular first-term president in the history of opinion pollin The anti-Trump ceiling has been as hard and unyielding as the pro-Trump floor - and a lot bigger. And that was *before* Trump drove US society and the US economy into the worst catastrophe since the Great Depression.

We're dealing with probabilities of course, not certainties. But in 2020, it's much less probable that Trump repeats his fluke win of 2016 than that the whole ball game is over by 10 pm, with Florida called for Biden and the Senate already Blue after Collins and Tillis lose.

The fact that 40% of Americans tolerated Trump's wrongdoing -and that so many GOP leaders actively connived at it - will remain a huge ethical and political problem for US society. But it's not a basis for a presidential victory in a high turnout year."

Trump in 2016 got a little more of the vote than Michael Dukakis in 1988. In 2020, Trump will probably get a smaller share of the vote than Dukakis did.

Freakish as the Electoral College is, there's a limit on its ability to produce negative miracles for electoral minorities."

We all remember the rug being pulled out from us in 2016 and know all too well that it could happen again in  Florida, where the voting machines have been revealed to contain malware that erased every 10th vote.

Far too many Republicans would go to jail if they lose, so they aren’t going allow a fair election.

A CONVERSATION

Rational Nation: "I remember 2016. Clinton was considered almost a shoe-in. Opps, didn't work out so well. My point is obviously that complacency can be deadly. Hopeully this time around no one stays home or rips up their mail in ballot thinking Biden/Harris is a sure thing. It isn't. Frankly I would hope trump finds himself resting uncomfortably in a federal pen before he retires to The Cesspool of History. BTW, that history is being written as he stumbles an[d] blunders along his way into it. His cultists are loving it. For now."

Shaw Kenawe:  "Agreed, RN. We should never become complacent. But this isn't 2016, is it.

In 2016 there weren't groups of Republicans against Trump. Dozens of people who worked for the Bush administration and the McCain campaign are banded together to defeat Trump -- all non-cultist Republicans. And there are non-cultist Republican governors who are never Trumpers, and plenty of conservative groups out there producing ads and videos against Trump. Trump hasn't increased his base; in fact, he's lost a lot of it.

I don't know about you, but I haven't heard of anyone who voted for Hilary or Obama who has jumped on the Trump cultist train and is crossing over to vote for him. But thousands of people who voted for Trump in 2016 have abandoned him. That's what's different this time.

Millions of people know what Trump is because he's been showing himself to be a malignant narcissist and pathological liar, cheat, and fraud for the past 3 1/2 years.

The pandemic is his Waterloo. He did everything wrong; thousands of Americans died because of his lying and deceit. The economy is in the toilet, the job numbers are horrible, the west is burning and the south is flooding. And all Trump can do is lie.

As Woodward said in his interview with Cooper the other night, Trump has no mental ability to understand what is reality vs. what he tells himself is reality. As POTUS, he never dealt in facts or truth. He's made us all sick in one way or another.

As a nation, we're dealing with two viruses: Covid-19 and Donald J. Trump. We have to rid ourselves of both."

Trump's Ceiling Is Too Low for Him to Be Reelected

"As for those who keep coming back to the nostrum that he won four years ago, proved everyone wrong, and can do it again: They ignore that this time, he doesn’t have Hillary Clinton as an opponent. While Clinton is an incredibly bright and accomplished person, she accumulated an enormous amount of political baggage during her quarter century on the national stage. Until the #MeToo movement arrived, her husband went through his career as if he had a Teflon coating—nothing stuck to him. But Hillary was Velcro; seemingly everything stuck to her.

Comparing how Hillary Clinton was perceived in the 2016 campaign with Biden now defies logic. The CNN poll taken at the beginning of September 2016 showed Clinton with 41 percent of registered voters giving her a favorable rating and 57 percent giving her an unfavorable rating, for a net favorability of -16 percent. Trump showed a 42-percent-favorable, 56-percent-unfavorable split, for a -14 net rating. The new CNN poll gives Biden a 48-percent-favorable, 43-percent-unfavorable rating for a net of plus-5 points. Trump’s current numbers are 40 percent favorable, 56 percent unfavorable—a net -16 points.

Obviously, we are talking about anticipating human behavior, which is always problematic. But given that voting has already begun in some states, Trump does not even have 54 days to make a comeback. Similarly, an October Surprise may need to happen in mid-September for it to have any impact. It is a good bet that a lot of votes will be cast before that first debate on Sept. 29.

I understand the caution that many in my business have after the surprising outcome in 2016, but the only way this year resembles 2020 is that they both are presidential years, Trump is the Republican nominee, and both years begin with a 2. That’s it. Alan Greenspan’s irrational exuberance has given way, in my mind, to irrational caution. This is not 2016."

"HERD MENTALITY"

‘Just A Firehose Of Lying’: Trump’s Town Hall Widely Roasted As A Train Wreck

"President Trump defended his assertion that the novel coronavirus would “disappear” with or without a vaccine on Tuesday, saying the United States would develop what he called “herd mentality.”

“With time it goes away,” Trump said during an ABC News town hall in Pennsylvania when pressed by host George Stephanopoulos on his public comments about the virus.

“You'll develop, you'll develop herd — like a herd mentality. It's going to be, it’s going to be herd-developed, and that's going to happen. That will all happen. But with a vaccine, I think it will go away very quickly.”

Trump appeared to mistake “herd mentality” for “herd immunity,” which occurs when enough individuals develop immunity to prevent the spread of a disease.

TRUMP CALLS FOR PREVIOUS POTUS TO BE "LOCKED UP!"

This is classic authoritarian/fascist tactics, and Trump is the cheerleader inciting his cultists to put President Obama, whose presidency was scandal-free, in jail.

Trump, who has the most corrupt and felonious presidency in modern times, is stoking the flames of hatred and sedition with each of his rallies. Those rallies, BTW, that he's now taken indoors?  No social distancing, and few if any masks. He's on a mission to kill members of his own cult. Only this time with a deadly virus instead of Kool-Aid.

And his cultists love his efforts to kill them.

"A crowd at President Trump's rally Sunday evening chanted "lock him up" after the president accused his predecessor, former President Obama, of being caught "spying" on the 2016 Trump campaign.

During the event in Henderson, Nev., Trump told attendees that the former president "got caught spying on my campaign," referring to longstanding accusations from him and his allies that the investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia in 2016 was orchestrated by the Obama administration in an attempt to sink his candidacy, a claim for which there is no evidence.

In response, many attendees began chanting "lock him up!", a riff on the "lock her up" chant the president encouraged during his 2016 run against Hillary Clinton (D), during which he alleged that his opponent had committed crimes by operating a private email server as secretary of state.

[skip]

[Trump's] repeated baseless claims come as the Justice Department's own inspector general previously told the Senate late last year that neither the former president nor former Vice President Joe Biden (D) were involved with the decision to begin the investigation.

“We certainly didn’t see any evidence of that in the FBI’s files or the department’s files," he told the Senate Judiciary Committee in December."

Trump has no character. None. He's a malignant narcissist and pathological liar who cheated on all of his wives with porn stars and Playboy models, scammed hundreds of Americans with his fake Trump U., and other Trump failures.

But the worst, the absolute worst was his lying about the deadliest virus since the Spanish flu, telling Americans it was a "Democrat HOAX," when he absolutely knew it was dangerously fatal, and he continued to hold rallies with people packed inside arenas without masks.

What kind of psychotic mind does that to his own people? To anyone, and continues to lie about a pandemic?

Oh. And did I mention he said the men and women in our armed forces are "losers and suckers" for serving their country?

Yeah. That too.

Trump's cultists love all of this. They admire a failed human being.

Something to think about for September 11

Who are the people who still support Trump, knowing that he deliberately lied and misled the American people about a deadly, deadly virus?

We have to ask ourselves what drives these folks to continue to support this reckless, malignant narcissist who placed their lives and their children's in mortal danger.

Who continues to support and admire someone who deliberately caused death, through misinformation and lies, to their own families and their fellow Americans?

This is the 19th anniversary of September 11. Right now, because of Trump's malfeasance and lying, 3,000 Americans die each day from this deadly virus. Three thousand Americans perished on September 11. Now we have that many die EACH DAY, under the reckless and mendacious Republican president and his enablers in Congress.

“Changing the president, of course, is the single most important reform. The Woodward tapes make clear that Trump is not fit for the presidency and is incapable of dealing with a crisis on the scale of the coronavirus.

After he leaves office, the nation needs a true inquiry into his handling of the virus — and how to be sure that no future president has the ability to make so many Americans suffer for their incompetence and callousness.”

By our estimate, Trump’s spent more than 121 hours since Feb. 2 either playing golf (assigning three hours per unseen round at his clubs in Bedminster, N.J., or Palm Beach) or traveling to and from his club in Sterling. Comparing those durations with the number of confirmed deaths on each day, we get a range of between 3,037, based on the reported number of deaths each day, and 3,862 deaths, based on the seven-day average. The variation between those numbers is largely a function of Trump’s generally playing golf on the weekend, when reported death figures are generally lower than during the week.

If we use only the average number of deaths on days when Trump’s been confirmed to have played golf, the total is 3,163.

Wednesday, September 9, 2020

This isn't funny.

Bob Woodward's new book, "Rage," documents Trump's deliberate incompetence on Covid-19:

'Play it down': Trump admits to concealing the true threat of coronavirus in new Woodward book

The book, using Trump's own words, depicts a President who has betrayed the public trust and the most fundamental responsibilities of his office.

In "Rage," Trump says the job of a president is "to keep our country safe." But in early February, Trump told Woodward he knew how deadly the virus was, and in March, admitted he kept that knowledge hidden from the public. "I wanted to always play it down," Trump told Woodward on March 19, even as he had declared a national emergency over the virus days earlier. "I still like playing it down, because I don't want to create a panic."

If instead of playing down what he knew, Trump had acted decisively in early February with a strict shutdown and a consistent message to wear masks, social distance and wash hands, experts believe that thousands of American lives could have been saved.

Trump knew Covid-19 was deadlier than a flu and yet he lied to the American people, telling them there were only "15 cases and soon that would be down to zero."

He had the obligation as POTUS to be straight with the American people and give them information to help them with best practices to avoid getting Covid-19. Instead he lied, and lied, and lied because he was worried about his re-election.

Trump deliberately lied and as a result, is responsible for the deaths of thousands and thousands of Americans.

Here's the deliberate, lying sack of horse manure:

Trump to Bob Woodward on COVID-19 in 2/7 call: “It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu.” “This is deadly stuff.”

Trump to Woodward on 3/19: “I wanted to always play it down.”

Meanwhile, Trump on 3/9  Tweet Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump · Mar 9:

"So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!"

Let's not forget that Trump called Covid-19 a "Democrat HOAX," knowing full well that it was a deadly serious threat to the American people.

200,000 Americans are dead because of Trump's reckless stupidity and politization of Covid-19.

Who in their right mind would want this deceitful, lying, reckless bum for another four years?

Vote the corrupt bastard out on November 3!

........................................

Here is the President in the middle of a pandemic demanding that a reporter take off their mask to ask him a question (and getting rejected).
It's almost impossible to believe he exists. It's as if we took everything that was bad about America, scraped it up off the floor, wrapped it all up in an old hot dog skin, and then taught it to make noises with its face.
