WASHINGTON (AP) - President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he he won't call Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after the targeted shootings of two state lawmakers because it would "waste time." 

One of the lawmakers and her husband were killed. The Republican president spoke to reporters early Tuesday aboard Air Force One as he flew back to Washington after abruptly leaving an international summit in Canada because of rising tensions in the Middle East between Israel and Iran. 

Asked if he planned to call Walz, Trump said the Democratic governor is "slick" and "whacked out" and said, "I'm not calling him." 

Presidents often reach out to other elected officials at times of tragedy to offer condolences.

 

I've always said that Trump hasn't a drop of human decency within him, and he proves me right every day.

Trump is a shameful stain on our country.

Politically motivated assassinations in Minnesota

Minnesota Democratic House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, 55, and her husband, Mark, 58, were shot and killed Saturday morning at their home in Brooklyn Park in what Gov. Tim Walz called a “politically motivated assassination.” 

 Governor Walz also confirmed that DFL (DFL stands for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, which is the Minnesota state affiliate of the Democratic Party.)  State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were also shot multiple times at their home in Champlin. A nephew of the couple said on social media that they were each shot five or six times. The pair underwent surgery at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, and Walz said he was “cautiously optimistic” about their survival.

 

 "Vance Boelter was arrested last night for the murder of Minnesota state Speaker of the House and her husband Saturday morning, and seriously wounding a Minnesota state senator and his wife.”

Governor Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass were duly elected by the citizens of California.

Noem has no right under the Constitution to "liberate" them from the people who elected them. 

Supremacy Clause: 

The Supremacy Clause of the Constitution states that federal law is supreme over state law when they conflict, but it doesn't grant the federal government the power to nullify state elected officials. 

The federal government does not have the right to nullify state-elected governors and mayors. The Constitution establishes a system of federalism, where power is divided between the federal government and state governments. While the federal government can override state laws if they conflict with a constitutional federal law, it cannot directly remove or nullify state-elected officials.

Noem is a woman in over her head in a job she knows nothing about. She couldn't even tell a Congresswoman what Habeas corpus means. But give her credit for the really important stuff she does know: Showing up in fabulous costumes at prisons for photo-ops and knowing how to wear hair extensions, fake eyelashes, and Botox.

This is how fascist regimes, backed by a military, behave.

The people of California clearly don't want her "liberation" from THE GOVERNOR AND MAYOR THEY ELECTED.

When a United States Senator spoke up and asked her a question about her "liberation" plans, she sent her thugs after him, attacked him, threw him to the floor, and cuffed him. For asking a question.

If your hair isn't on fire by now at what this fascist regime is doing, then you deserve what happens to you.

I'll be gone for most of the week with my French family. They arrived Saturday and told us that their friends asked them why they would choose to visit the US now. They've been visiting here for over 40 years, and this is the first time anyone has questioned them on why they'd come to the US. Note: This is under the Trump regime.

Also, they were very careful to delete ANYTHING they had on their phones that would have hinted of anything anti-Trump. And here's the worse part:  They told me they rehearsed something to say if the customs people asked why they were coming to the US.  

This never, never happened in all the years they've been visiting me in the US.

Trump has done this and the people who support this authoritarian criminal are complicit in what has happened to this country.

I have decided I’m PRO MISOGYNY for the first time in my life.

I’ve come close in the past with my opinions of much of the behavior of Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Boebert, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton but, IN GENERAL, I’m PRO WOMEN!!

With this election coming and the way Kamala acted on stage Tuesday night, and  with my hearing statistics saying men are favoring Trump:

Leftist/liberals/fascists/communists are parasites. When they’re treated as such, many problems will go away.

These are the folks who support Trump and who actually believe there's no racism, sexism, or demonizing the opposing political party as "parasites" and Haitians as "rubbish" in America. Did the captain or any of her sailors understand what people do to "parasites" and "rubbish?"

Naive, clueless, and racist doesn't begin to describe these people. But it's a start.
