(Republicans ignored his call to action.)
 A) Clinton B) Carter C) Obama

Answers to the questions are C, B, C, A, B, B, A, C. The answer to getting Republicans to stop sacrificing our kids on the alter of the gun industry, as usual, escapes me.

Also, on Presidents' Day here's something to remember: After the revelations and indictments in the Russia scandal by special counsel Mueller on Friday, so-called POTUS DJT lashed out at the Democrats, the FBI, Oprah, etc., everyone except Russia. That is strange. We wonder why Trump continues to be so nice to the country that attacked America during the 2016 elections.

"We’ve just hit a new presidential low In a remarkable set of tweets over the weekend, the commander in chief sounded off on new revelations about the extent of Russia’s campaign to undermine our electoral system. His response: to lash out at his political adversaries and the institutions that are charged with keeping the country safe. "

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump If it was the GOAL of Russia to create discord, disruption and chaos within the U.S. then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. They are laughing their asses off in Moscow. Get smart America! 8:11 AM - Feb 18, 2018 104K 80K people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy

"What was missing — tellingly so — was any indication that he plans to do anything against the perpetrators themselves. Dereliction of duty."

33,000+ deaths from firearms is not just a gun problem, it's a GOP BLOOD MONEY PROBLEM.

May these craven GOP senators rot in hell.

Evidence collected over many years, obtained from many locations, indicates that the power of Prayer is insufficient to stop bullets from killing school children.

Saturday Night with Bill Maher

He reviews another week of chaos with President Dotard:

Since the opening of the Winter Olympics last week and my post on the incomparable Naathan Chen, I've had trolls come here, mocking his disappointing performance at the beginning of the Olympic week.

Today he showed the world that he is a champion.
I never lost faith in his ability. He's young. We'll see him shine again.

Congratulations on an amazing performance today to Nathan Chen!

Nathan Chen is the quad king. Watch it here.

In the past, Trump claimed the whole "Russia thing" could have been done by some American fat guy in his basement sitting on his bed. Well it wasn't.

Trump can no longer claim that the Russia investigation is FAKE! and a HOAX!

Russia interferred and helped put trump in the White House.

Trump is going off golfing again without saying anything about his refusal to acknowledge that the Russian meddled in the 2016 to get him elected. Trump has not had one meeting to address this threat that continues and will attack our country again in the 2018 elections.

Whose side is Trump on?

"The indictment depicts an elaborate scheme in which some of the Russians accused allegedly came to the U.S. with the deliberate intention of undermining the American political and electoral process, including the 2016 presidential election.

In one case, for example, one American was paid to dress up as Hillary Clinton clad in a prison uniform and another person was hired to construct a cage on a flatbed truck — all part of a coordinated effort to organize rallies in Florida in the lead up to the presidential election. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said the Russians charged called their work "information warfare against the United States" with the goal of spreading distrust of candidates and the political system in general.

Some defendants "communicated with unwitting individuals associated with the Trump campaign" without revealing their association with Russia. The indictment also says the defendants posted negative information about a number of candidates during the last general election. The individuals operated social media pages and groups designed to attract American audiences with a strategic goal to "sow discord in the U.S. political system". They staged rallies and had a basic infrastructure which included computers and other support systems.

Ultimately, the "defendants' operations included supporting the presidential campaign on then-candidate Donald J. Trump and disparaging Hillary Clinton" his Democratic rival, according to the indictment. According to the agency, "the indictment charges all of the defendants with conspiracy to defraud the United States, three defendants with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants with aggravated identity theft."

John Cassidy:

"The Republicans bear the primary responsibility, though. Ever since Sandy Hook, it is their craven subservience to the gun lobby that has prevented meaningful action, even as the carnage that Rubio referred to has continued.

“Turn on your televisions right now and you are going to see scenes of children running for their lives,” Chris Murphy, the junior Democratic senator for Connecticut, said on the Senate floor on Wednesday afternoon.

“Let me just note once again for my colleagues: this happens nowhere else other than the United States of America. This epidemic of mass slaughter, this scourge of school shooting after school shooting, it only happens here. Not because of coincidence, not because of bad luck, but as a consequence of our inaction. We are responsible for a level of mass atrocity that happens in this country with zero parallel anywhere else.”

The key concept in that excellent peroration was responsibility. Even with the blood of defenseless children flowing along the corridors of schoolhouses, the U.S. government has abdicated its duty to protect. And that, it bears repeating ad nauseum, is a national disgrace."

Hello, my name is Richard Burr. I'm a Senator from North Carolina. I want you to know it only cost the NRA $6,986,620 to make sure I stay silent and watch as our children are murdered.
What kind of a country accepts its children being slaughtered in schools?

And does nothing?

Jihadists and illegals did not massacre 17 children. An American kid with easy access to an AR-15 did it. And politicians tell you there's nothing we can do?

My daughter was murdered in a mass school shooting. What makes you believe that your child won't be next? I don't want your fucking sympathy. I want you to stop voting for gun-whore politicians. (Please share.)

So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!

One year ago today Donald Trump, the so-called POTUS, rescinded a regulation signed by President Barack Obama that made it more difficult for mentally disturbed people to get guns.

The Trump administration REFUSES to release the photo that does exist of trump signing that order.

DJT has the cajones to tweet about the killer of 17 children and mental health?

DJT is a decrepit old mongrel who has forgotten that it was he who changed President Obama's regulation that would have made it more difficult for the Nickolas Cruz to purchase his AR 15 that slaughtered 17 American children.

May DJT rot in hell.

In America, it is more important for gun fetishists to have the freedom to own AR 15 and other automatic firing weapons than protect the lives of Americans and American school children.

And we call ourselves the greatest country in the world?

Any country that tolerates babies being shot in grammar school, children being shot in high school, citizens being shot in churches, at concerts, in movie theaters, malls, night clubs is a country that has lost its soul.

We changed the Constitution to end slavery; we changed the Constitution to allow former slaves and women the right to vote, we changed the Constitution to limit a president's term in office.

We have proved to ourselves and the world that we can't handle the unfettered freedom of owning deadly weapons. We've failed ourselves and our children.

For years I've listened to the arguments for not touching anything in the 2nd Amendment and that citizens have the right to defend themselves and their families, defend themselves against the government or a foreign enemy. It's all bullshit. No enemy, robber, or domestic government could deliver the sort of butchery that our 2nd Amendment delivers to our citizens, our babies and children on a regular basis. This is madness.

I have no problem advocating a change to the 2nd Amendment. At some point rational people have to look at the carnage and stay ENOUGH!

How many more babies, children, citizens have to be sacrificed before this slaughter ends?

And this:

Australia data shows gun controls a huge success 20 years after mass shooting

And this:

How Japan has almost eradicated gun crime

Everyone knows that the U.K., Australia, and Japan have not been taken over by criminals with guns. The 2nd Amendment fetishists will have you believe in the b.s. that if guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. Talk to the citizens of the above named countries to see that is a false NRA slogan to keep people fearful and buying guns to fatten the gun manufacturers' bank accounts, the NRA's pockets, and the disgusting politicians in Congress who live off of the blood of dead children by taking NRA money.

Given the choice between the right to own an AR-15 and the right to not fear having your children massacred in their schools, which do you think Americans would choose?

The NRA and the prostituted politicians don't want to know.

The NRA argument boils down to a belief that massacres are part of the price of constitutional liberty.
This implies that the Founders were all psychopaths.

There's a reason for our elected officials in Washington doing nothing about the carnage killing Americans and our school children: The NRA has bought them off.

12th school shooting this year, and it's only February 14.

I'm sure all you fabulous NRA boosters and 2nd Amendment fetishers will send more of your useless thoughts and prayers to the dead children's families.

I don't know of any other western democracy that tolerates this carnage.

We're a sick, sick nation.

I have grandchildren in American public schools and I live in fear for their lives. I sometimes wish my parents had never left Italy because these sorts of massacres aren't happening to people's grandchildren there.

America has the most fire arms in circulation, one for every man, woman, and child, it is estimated. And America has the highest rate of gun massacres of any western democracy.

Thoughts and prayers mean nothing. Any pol who offers them can put them where the sun don't shine.

We'll have more of these killings killing more American children in their schools.

Count on it.

My prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible Florida shooting. No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott has also spoken out about the tragedy, posting on Twitter: “My thoughts and prayers are with the students, their families

Useless condolences, thoughts, and prayers from our useless politicians. This can be stopped. But the cowards and whores in our government will do nothing to stop it.

More children will die in school because of school shootings. And this country will pretend that nothing can be done to stop it. That is a lie.

Think about your children and grandchildren when they go to school tomorrow and the day after and the day after. Will they be next?

It's up to you to stop this. Not the politicians.

Do something.
