The guy in the video says America has never seen a candidate like Herman Cain and America has never seen a campaign like Herman Cain's campaign.
And he's right.
We've never seen anything as stupid and amateur as this "smokin'-bad" video. It says absolutely NOTHING about Cain's plans to put Americans back to work, or anything about what he'd do if we were crazy enough to vote him into the presidency. The campaign video ends with this guy taking a drag from a cigarette and exhaling.
Because nothing says "Good for America" like an object that will give you lung cancer.
What the hell is Cain thinking? Oh, wait...Cain just makes it up as he goes along, and is obviously being advised by the dumbest people who ever worked a presidential campaign.
Fortunately, Cain will not get the nomination nor move into the White House. And we can thank the nutjob who produced and starred in this disaster of a video for that.
Cain Gets a Bump from a Hit: [Let the parodies begin!]:
They jus' keep on comin'!

That guy is Cain's chief of staff, Mark Block. A stupid ad that reminds me of a bad used car ad. The ending is more than I can stand. You'd think with all that Koch money, he could hire a slick PR firm.
I think Cain deserves to get the nomination and run against Obama in 2012. I'd like to hear Cain explain why he is not his brother's keeper. Personally, I prefer the younger fellah. Look at it this way ...
Cain and McCain make a lovely pair of bookends.
I think my 12 year old granddaughter could put together a better video than that one. She is pretty good with iMovie...and she would select better music.
2 hysterically funny spoofs on Cain's video. The first one is from SC Dems and the second is on TPM.

Everyone's talking about the ad, but not in a good way. We're laughing at Cain and his campaign staff for their foolishness.
If this stuff is real, well, I guess, nah, forget it.
The Motion Picture Academy, or perhaps the Advertising Council, should issue a warning: This video may cause brain damage.
Like the famous "there's a storm coming" anti-gay-marriage ad, this one seems to have been made to inspire parodies, and doubtless many more will follow.
If this is what passes for political advertising skills among Republicans these days, they aren't going to know what hit them when they finally get up against the Democrats in a real election.
Shaw, I hope you caught John Poderhertz column in the NY Post today on the nonsense of the GOP. He lumps all these rodeo clowns into a group of lying clueless losers. And he is a Republican. Yet I am sure he will soon be branded a RINO just like other conservatives with brains that are lamenting this group of candidates.
I think we will be seeing a brokered GOP Convention.
The video was indeed dumb. it did make me want to light up a smoke though. If Cain wins I'll burn a pack of Camels.
Truth - If Cain doesn't I'll light up a fine cigar. Care to join me?
And to think, when he first hit the scene I had a great vision of change.
I'm always glad to light up a fine cigar with you Les. A Cain loss is as good a reason as any.
