My late sister's husband went on an Honor Flight today.
He served with the U.S. Navy in Italy in World War II.
Here he is below, visiting one of the many war memorials that the veterans get to see during this one-day trip.
He'll be back here in Boston later this evening after a memorable day spent with other WWII vets.

I'm glad he had a day of fun with his friends.
Military service is rewarding, but very hard on both the service member and his/her family.
From an Air Force brat here, the daughter of an NCO, kudos to Charlie Gray and his compatriots.
