This is the original Minneapolis police report of George Floyd's death.
If it wasn't for Darnella Frazier, who was 17 at the time and videoed the crime, this pack of lies would have allowed convicted murderer, Derek Chauvin, to walk.
One can only believe this type of "plausible dishonesty" has occured in police forces across the nation throughout our history. It's known as systemic racism. Of course the majority of police officers are decent and good officers and citizens. But the system itself has covered up a lot of unjust, immoral, and indeed criminal behavior by some police and the system itself. Circumstances in the George Floyd murder brought this into the bright light of truth
How many other murders were covered up by agencies covering for their officers? Luckily, the young lady was there with her camera rolling to prevent the lies from becoming the reality.
This supports my contention I wrote on your previous post. If not for the video this officer would never have been charged and the authorities would have supported the cop instead of testifying against him.

"Officers were able to get the suspect into handcuffs and noted he appeared to be suffering medical distress. Officers called for an ambulance."
Good lord. If there hadn't been video, this would have been the official record of the murder of a man at the hands of the police.
Clearly, police statements should not be automatically taken as fact and need to be verified.

You should suspect any "written report" about anything.
