Judge Amy Berman Jackson said in a ruling that the misleading statements were similar to others that William P. Barr, the former attorney general, had made about the Mueller investigation.
William P. Barr acted as Trump's personal attorney instead of the Attorney General of the United States. Barr disgraced himself by his lying about what the Mueller Report contained, and shielded Trump instead of being truthful to the American people, as his job demanded.
Judge Jackson called former AG Barr disingenuous about his assertions that the Mueller Report found no obstruction of justice by Trump. That was a lie!
I hope they drag Barr's corrupt posterior into court, along with Trump's, so that the American people can hear the truth in the Mueller Report: TRUMP, AS PRESIDENT, OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE.
"The decision by Barr and senior Justice Department leaders to clear Trump of obstruction, even though special counsel Robert Mueller and his team pointedly did not reach that conclusion, was a significant moment for the president that he touted as vindication."
