Newly discovered emails show how staffers for Trump secretly plotted to steal the Georgia votes from Biden

This is damning:

A staffer for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign instructed Republicans planning to cast electoral college votes for Trump in Georgia despite Joe Biden’s victory to operate in “complete secrecy,” an email obtained by The Washington Post shows.

“I must ask for your complete discretion in this process,” wrote Robert Sinners, the campaign’s election operations director for Georgia, the day before the 16 Republicans gathered at the Georgia Capitol to sign certificates declaring themselves duly elected.

“Your duties are imperative to ensure the end result — a win in Georgia for President Trump — but will be hampered unless we have complete secrecy and discretion.”

The Dec. 13, 2020, email went on to instruct the electors to tell security guards at the building that they had an appointment with one of two state senators.

“Please, at no point should you mention anything to do with Presidential Electors or speak to the media,” Sinners continued in bold.

More evidence to prove that Trump and his lackeys were quite serious about committing crimes in order to steal the election from Biden.

Shaw... here's our problem as it relates to the 2020 elections, the events of 1/6 and the general point of view admired by the people supporting Trump.

The people who support the current GOP "understanding" about the above, are an exceedingly small slice of the American electorate. But they have outsized influence on who sits in office.

An example...

Over 80% of Americans, across political parties, from all walks of life, from every race and color in America, support laws to require background checks in order to buy a gun. Any gun.

Not to take it away, just a simple background check to make sure for instance, that a person on the no fly list, does not get a gun. So that a person judged mentally ill, does not get a gun. So a felon does not get a gun.

80% of Americans favor this.

But we can't get it done. Not only that, the GOP won't even allow a bill for this to come up for debate, discussion or even a vote.

Why is this?

Because we've got a small tyranny of the minority who somehow look at former President Trump as America's savior. They see Jan 6 as a tourist visit, they see the 2020 elections, without ANY evidence, as having been stolen. They see pushing the Sec of State in GA to steal the election, as "whatever it takes", they see 19 dead kids in Texas as the price of freedom and a "right" for the average citizen to own weapons of war.

And it is that small tyranny of the minority that is holding America hostage. From looking at the events of 1/6, from moving past Trump, from sensible gun control legislation and more.

Unless and until we find a way to break the power of that minority cabal, we'll continue to have people working to subvert the will of the majority of Americans by stealing elections, blocking legislation and working to "own" their opponents.

And that's as true for the 2020 elections as it is for the GA voting scandal, background checks and a host of other issues.

Humankind's single biggest and most dangerous problem... ignorance. It always has been, as history so vividly shows us. Time and time again. Yet we repeat and repeat. Over and over.

Then there are guns. And death by gun violence. Again and again. Over and over.

Talk about ignorance. Must come naturally to humans. Because there are no courses in how to learn to be ignorant. {Is there?}

Because we're not a democracy any longer. When there is a tyranny of a minority holding the rest of the country hostage to their will, we are no longer a functioning representative democracy. The minority does NOT represent or respect the WILL of the majority.

Shaw... and let's get this out of the way before someone brings it up...

I'm sure everyone here is in favor of whatever just penalty there should be if it can proved that Hunter Biden is guilty of anything. So while that is winding its way through the justice system and the court of public opinion, we can set it aside while we deal with a few more deadly issues.

The current minority view, on display daily at the Mothership, WYD and a few other conservative blogs we visit represents those members of the conservative class who...

1. Still inhabit the current GOP
2. Vote in large percentages in primaries
3. Have no interest in bi-partisanship, or negotiating to get the best outcome for ALL Americans. Because they've already decided what that best way is.
4. See no problems in any of this.
