YOUR SUNDAY MOMENT OF ZEN

Judge Luttig was Sen. Ted Cruz's mentor. "He was like a father to me." -- Ted Cruz

Remember that should Ted Cruz or those like him try to besmirch Judge Luttig's name.

Neither cruz or those like him have any credibility at all with anyone who has been paying attention and therefore is in touch w/reality.

RN, AFAIK, The only people who've given evidence throughout the hearings have been Republicans who served in Trump's administration. So when you hear the whiners call this a "show trial," you understand they're upset with what they're learning about Trump and his treahery.

The good thing about this "hearing" is perhaps trump will be indicted and convicted. Those that support him will come hell or high water, kinda like the 32% who thing biden is doing a good job. Even if he is given no jail time it will eliminate him from ruining the 2024 election. There are so many good conservative candidates who can attempt to put the country back together again. Biden makes his former boss look like he wasn't just for special interest and the rich. He is following in his leaders footsteps by eliminating the middle class and sending the poor further into the toilet but at least the rich are happy.

Here’s the piece J. Michael Luttig wrote back in April:

”The Republican blueprint to steal the 2024 election”

When Judge Luttig started to talk in the third hearing I had a hard time listening to him. Not that his words were incorrect but instead his pacing was very difficult in this age of all things, all the time, all at once.

I took a breath, and imagined instead of a human I was listening to a very old tortoise, the kind which carried the world on their back like the legends of long ago. Then I could give him all the time necessary. I'm glad I took that step because every work he said was a gem, it's edges sharpened for absolute clarity.

The fact that he's a respected conservative voice made everything he said so much more important, that January 6 was only practice and that those who follow the former defeated twice impeached guy are openly planning their next attempt.

My only hope is that those who need to hear his words have their hearts and ears opened so that his light can shine in.
