In an opening statement, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the panel’s vice chairwoman, accused Trump of an “utter moral failure and a clear dereliction of duty” and said he is “unfit for any office.”
“The whole purpose and obvious effect of Trump’s scheme were to obstruct influence and impede this official proceeding: The central moment for the lawful transfer of power in the United States,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) said.

The last time this appeared on his blog was Oct. 1. Maybe the sadly besotted Trump cultist has finally realized he was scammed by Trump? Nah.
Cultists never admit to having been duped by a conman. He'll keep up his pathetic patently false and foolish statements of a "stolen election."

Shaw, i just received a memo from The Lincoln Project on this. You should check it out... if you have not already seen it. Their view is highly valid and very possible, even likely.
I believe, even given this great news, we are a very long way from Trump being held accountable. If he ever is. Money talks and Trump certainly will use whatever wealth, as well as favors he can call in, to prevent facing the righteous accountability he is so richly deserving if.
Still, a good day for truth. Now we wait, prepare for the worst outcome while praying for conviction and incarceration.

She was right about Trump from the beginning. anyone with even half a brain saw him for the lying grifter he is. Everyone except his supporters who still swallow the grift daily. But that's because they don't even have half a brain.
Mike, if Jack Smith had not been brought on board I’d share your foreboding. One of Mr Garlands super powers is bringing the correct person in to do the job. He may look like he’s doing nothing but Mr Jack Smith is not nothing. He’s every sort of something and word on the street is he doesn’t waste time.
The last J6 meeting had a ceremonial feel to me, like specific actions/words needed to be entered into the record in order for next steps to occur.
I have no clue what happens next and I’m just as anxious as many of my friends for all this to be over. The smug hypocrisy of my Red Hat neighbors is proving to be taxing. A little Justice action would give me a smile inside.
