USA TODAY: Jury convicts Jan. 6 rioter who propped his feet up on a Nancy Pelosi staffer's desk
The guys lawyer claimed the verdict should be thrown out because one, DC is not a state and two, because he couldn't get a jury of his peers who liked Trump.
If that's not a third rate legal argument, I've never heard one.
Besides, we don't usually seat insurrectionists on juries here in the US...

That line was part of the theme of the old TV crime show Baretta starring Robert Blake...
Yes... they break the law then play the victim card after they are caught and found guilty.
