It follows mass shootings at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky; at Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee; at Michigan State University; at two mushroom farms in Half Moon Bay, California; and at a ballroom dance studio in Monterey Park, California.
This is fine with America where red states ban books
1) A shooting at a Sweet-16 birthday celebration in downtown Dadeville, Alabama, left over 20 people injured, and 6 dead, mostly teenagers.
2) 6 people were shot around Chickasaw Park in Louisville Kentucky at 9PM.
At least 2 were killed, and 1 is in critical condition. This is the second mass shooting in Louisville in days.
3) At least 2 were shot at Lincoln University in Chester County, PA.
We are a sorry country.

The red tsunami of ignorance, delusion, and abject idiocy is almost beyond belief. Were it not for witnessing it real time in the US i wouldn't.
We (the red in us anyway) have become a danger to ourselves and yet we're too reified in our conditioned beliefs to recognize reality that is unfolding almost daily right in front of us.
We are a very sick nation. Very sick indeed.
The "Militia Amendment", the NRA/Republican Cartel, paranoid white bigots, Radical Right conspiracy nuts, and racist neo-Confederates have all contributed to arming a nation of criminals, idiots and sociopaths.
They want to revive vigilantism and relive the Civil War and the movie version of the wild west. They're clinging to their weapons in the hope of being able to kill people they hate.
People gifted with conscience and consciousness will have to live, and survive, among them for as long as there is a Republican Party.
I'm convinced the human species is genetically pre-programmed for self extinction. We are infected with essentially the equivalent of angry book burning primates running amok with dynamite.

The radical right deliberately ignores the fact that the states with the most lenient gun laws are the states with the highest number of gun violence.
Not only do they ignore facts and reality they continue to hold on to their cherished delusions that more guns in the hands of "good" people make us safer BS. Even while the death toll of innocent fellow Americans continues to rise in mass shootings and children live in fear they may die at school, in the mall, in church, almost anywhere.

The kid that was shot in the head at the wrong house has survived and is out of the hospital already. The 85yo nut job that shot him has been charged.
