Trump's Epstein Scandal is Not Going Away

'Fear': Epstein prosecutor fired by Trump issues warning letter to ex-colleagues

Trump Fumes at Epstein Mess as Polls Reveal Big GOP Revolt

"President Donald Trump is in an absolute fury over his inability to stop MAGA from talking about the Jeffrey Epstein files. He unleashed a furious, manic tirade on Truth Social over it, and then rambled bizarrely about it to reporters for over a minute straight. None of it’s working. Striking new polls—one from Quinnipiac and the other from CNN—show wide public dissatisfaction with the whole Epstein fiasco. Critically, both polls show large chunks of Republicans are also unhappy about it, suggesting his efforts to shut this down aren’t working. But something deeper is going on here. Trump is also revealing a level of contempt for MAGA that’s unusual even for him. His anger seems primarily rooted in his inability to simply command them to think whatever he tells them to think."

Huh, the creator of the monster, who grew accustomed to the monster believing every word of their creator and performing every task the creator asked of them is having issues because the monster can't process what the creator is telling them here/now because it massively conflicts with what the creator said there/then?

Weird. If only there existed a teaching story that warned of such events.

LOL - I do my best not to shoulda/coulda/woulda but maybe MAGA using the pejoratives they did against everyone not them (but specifically the LGBTQIA+ community) wasn't the strategic move they thought it was.

Popcorn anyone?

Also - a bit OT but related in that this isn't going away either: George Retes, the American citizen and disabled US Veteran is speaking out about his experiences being detained without due process for the crime of being Brown in LA.

LOL - he's everything WeThePeople need - a powerful and gentle reminder that evil always sows the seeds of it's own destruction. ICE meet George. He has some things to say.

A house of cards eventually collapses.

At some point even the the most gullible see that the Emperor indeed Has No Clothes.

The cracks are appearing and the foundation is wobbly.

All good stuff.

The Justice Department has fired Maurene Comey, a federal prosecutor and the daughter of ex-FBI director James Comey, according to three sources, including one former Justice Department prosecutor.

She was given a memo informing her of the firing, two sources said. According to one source, the memo stated in part that she was being dismissed pursuant to Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution, which is the portion of the Constitution that lays out the president's powers.

Maurene Comey served as a federal prosecutor in Manhattan, where she was the lead prosecutor on the criminal case against Sean "Diddy" Combs — a case that ended in acquittal on the most serious charges but convictions for interstate prostitution.

She also helped lead the criminal prosecutions of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell was convicted and sentenced to 20 years for helping Epstein sexually abuse underage girls for at least a decade between the 1990s and 2000s. She appealed her conviction to the Supreme Court.
