A PERFECT METAPHOR FOR WHAT TRUMP IS DOING TO AMERICA:

Destruction of the White House's East Wing begins for Trump's Imperial Ballroom:

Trump lied about this.

Trump pledged that the new ballroom addition to the White House would not "interfere with the current building" or involve any demolition. However, demolition of the East Wing's facade began in October 2025 to make way for the project.

What Trump promised:

 1) "It won't interfere with the current building. It won't. It'll be near it, but not touching it and pays total respect to the existing building, which I'm the biggest fan of. It's my favorite. It's my favorite place.”

2) "You know, we're building right behind us. We're building a ballroom. They’ve wanted a ballroom for 150 years, and I'm giving that honor to this wonderful place.”

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Trump administration has quietly ordered federal workers to keep the demolition of the White House’s East Wing out of public view as construction crews begin clearing the site for a massive new ballroom funded by private donors.

According to several officials briefed on the directive, employees in nearby federal offices, including the Treasury Department, were instructed not to photograph or discuss the ongoing teardown, which began Monday morning.

The East Wing, traditionally home to the first lady’s offices and social staff, is being razed to make room for what President Trump has described as a “world-class ballroom worthy of America’s greatness.”

Trust nothing that comes out of this convicted felon's lying mouth.

According to the Montgomery Banner* (an offshoot of the Baltimore Banner, an online nonprofit independent news website):
The company, ACECO, is taking down the East Wing as part of Trump’s plans for a new ballroom. The Silver Spring company demolishing the East Wing of the White House as part of President Donald Trump’s plans for a ballroom has been targeted with online scorn after news photos captured its logo on equipment ripping into the building’s walls this week.

The company’s website now says it’s “under construction.” It wasn’t immediately clear when ACECO made that change.

The East Wing has historically housed offices for the first lady and some White House staff, but Trump has plans for it to become a ballroom.

ACECO began tearing down parts of the wing on Monday, according to multiple news reports.

The president, according to NPR, has moved ahead with his $250 million idea without consent from the National Capital Planning Commission, which approves major renovations to federal buildings in the Washington, D.C., area. The commission is closed due to the federal shutdown, according to its website.

Since ACECO’s backhoes and other demolition equipment started appearing in news photos on Monday, critics of the project began leaving negative online reviews for the company, shaming it on social media and calling on others to do the same.

A voicemail left on the company’s answering machine Tuesday was not immediately returned. ACECO bills itself as “the most experienced demolition-services company in the region,” specializing in complex government and private sector projects, according to its Facebook page.

The company has, among other projects, also recently been under contract to demolish platforms along D.C. Metro lines, take down a CSX transportation tunnel in Virginia and replace a wing of a chemistry building at the University of Maryland, College Park.

I don't trust the entire 1/4 billion dollar fancy dance hall will be funded by private donors. I literally trust NOTHING that erupts from the Orange turds yap. NOTHING.

Exactly the behavior of someone who sees himself as a king.
