Socialism: The enemy of capitalism according to the capitalist class.
An economic system in which We the People recognize the interconnectedness and interdependence of all of existence and understand that the strength of the whole (the many) is far stronger and greater than the strength of any individual or individual entity.
Capitalism, with its focus on fierce individualism and wealth concentration and accumulation in the hands of the few seeks to limit the power of the people to insure that all levers of economic and political control rests with them, the capital class.
Compassion and empathy is the positive force behind socialism and drives it. Greed and power lust drives capitalism.

Since FDR neo-Nazis and extremist Republicans have the same habit of calling Democrats and people they hate "communists".
And that's not all they have in common.
Nazis and present era republicans are natural bedfellows. Cut from the same authoritarian cloth and nationalistic ignorance.
