I remember the ones who were killed in a criminal war, as well.

I guess it was too much to hope that people would not politicize this post with lies to push a their pet agenda. But Ruth chimed in quickly with that, just like those who saw the Ted Kennedy memorial posts here earlier as just another chance to grind and axe. She probably won't be the last one.

Now to get this back on track, I did not know who Kevin McCarthy was. I did some searching, and found this tribute page. Nice photo in this post.

The page is here

Thank you for finding that, dmarks.

Kevin was the son of very close friends of our family.

The tributes on that page are from his sisters, Maureen and Kathy. And, of course, his mother and father.

PS. Perhaps Ruth knows someone who died in Iraq. She has every right to her opinion of that war.

I will respect her right to talk about it as she chooses.

And just to be clear, dmarks. Ruth is not besmirching Kevin McCarthy's memory by posting what she did.

She did not attack him or his family as did the soulless wingnuts who came here and slandered Senator Kennedy after his death.

Kevin McCarthy's family did NOT, in fact, support the invasion of Iraq.

The Right can't resist making this day into a "I Hate Obama Day," can it.

ScottBoy, there's something deeply disturbing about someone who disparages a president for asking Americans to do something in service to their country--perhaps place flowers on a soldier's grave; maybe help a 9/11 victim's family. Those are just a couple of things one could do in service to one's country today.

But a rabid and paranoid hater only sees nefarious plots and cabals everywhere--it is a sickness.

ScottBoy wrote this without realizing how he undercut his diatribe with his very own words:

"I will never forget they hate us and want us dead. The man in the WH now does not have any loyalty to those people."

You have just stated here, Scottboy, that the man in the WH does not have any loyalty to those who hate us and want us dead.

Those are your words up there for everyone to see.

So he made a typing error ...SO What? You know what he meant.
At least I do..

As far as the bastards that attacked us on that day are concerned.
There are no words fit to explain how I feel about them, but there is emotion: we need to find everyone that had a hand in this attack and kill them.

I know Dear Leader opposes this, but irrespective, we owe it to the fallen to set things right..

BTW, ScottBoy,

I checked out the link attached to your name, which is a link on facebook.

And then on facebook I went to the link that is posted there and that took me to a website.

It is highly improbable that the link you posted is actually yours.

But I'll know for sure soon.

I will never forget 9-11, I imagine that none of us ever will. I did not lose anyone personally but many did, including you. We owe it to them to never forget that day!

LL,

You're forgetting that the last president had the opportunity to catch the people who perpetrated this, and, as CiC, he had that opportunity for 8 long years.

Why don't you take your complaints to George W. Bush? He's the one who didn't catch the mastermind behind the attacks, and left it for someone else to finish the job.

idiots like scott boy and ll are why I quit blogging. I have better things to do with my time than deal with angry, irrational people. Had I wanted to do that, I'd still be married.

ScottyBoy's comment will be removed because I have discovered that he is a FRAUD.

Whoever posted under that name actually stole someone's identity and used it to leave comments here and at Patrick's blog, Sane Political Discourse.

I checked ScottyBoy's link and followed it to see who this guy was. The REAL ScottyBoy is a DJ from the west. I contacted him to see if he was really the one posting comments at Patrick's and my blogs.

He wasn't.

The ScottyBoy who came here is a liar and a fraud.

And needless to say, a coward with no sense of decency.

And he/she came to Patrick's and my blog and likened (at Patrick's blog) President Obama to a liar.

Earlier this week, two other conservatives came to my blog, and I discovered that they plagiarized other people's work and posted it on their own blogs and here in my comments.

Does anyone see a pattern here of deceit and underhandedness?

Is this how some of you conservatives operate? By using deceit?

Can't you come up with your own made-up names and ideas for blog posts?

Why did the creep ScottyBoy the Fraud use some other innocent person's identity?

You guys on the right, can you answer these questions?

And these are the people who quickly and LOUDLY label Mr. Obama a liar?

GWB!

So happy to see your here!

Sending you big hugs and sloppy kisses.
