Somehow the transparent administration is not working out so well.

We have his lordship stuck in scandal where now the majority of Americans believe he is covering something up. Promotes a women who mislead the country on the murders of 4 Americans. Creates the sequester and blames others when it actually goes into effect. Uses his private jet to fly across the country taking money away from sequester funds to sell obamacare after it has passed and "the majority of Americans approve of it".

The most interesting thing is there are people who think he is doing a good job.

Oh nonsense, Skud! You know perfectly well that Death in Benghazi, the revelations of heavily biased Draconian skullduggery by the IRS, the suppressed testimony from the survivors and the families of the American Benghazi dead, the televised cries from the victims of the outrageous campaign of harassment and intimidation by the IRS of groups that might have affected the results of the 2012 election in favor of President Obama's opponent, and that wee kerfuffle -- that mere bagatelle -- that tiniest wisp of a whimsical confection -- over the Justice Department's monitoring of journalist James Rosen's private emails were ALL absolutely NOTHING MORE than LIES, DISTORTIONS, and FABRICATIONS by the evil FRINGE-RIGHT propaganda machine.

"Nothing for you to see there, folks. Just MOVE ON."

Isn't that right, Ducky? It must be so, because that's what you -- who never fail inform us in myriad ways that you See All, Know All, and Comprehend All -- always tell us every time anything the tiniest bit unflattering to the Left arises.

Skud, what the heck is the matter with you? How could you even let yourself imagine the possibility of questioning the irrefutable logic of the Left?

SHAME on YOU!

"We have his lordship stuck in scandal..."

That's what partisan hacks are calling it. Others see it for the nonscandal that it is.

PS. "His Lordship" will do just fine. You can take that to the bank.

"Promotes a women who mislead the country on the murders of 4 Americans."

skudrunner, in you overly eager haste to come here and display your partisan hackery, you made a silly of yourself. When trying to score political points, it's a good idea to proof read them before pushing the "publish" button. Then perhaps people would pay attention to your blatherings about the president you so love to trash.

With all the partisan posturing and bickering it is easy to lose track of the real meat of issues.

Some are so damned bent on finding something, anything, to bring down a sitting president they forget his predesessor helped blaze the way.

Tedious.

FreeThinke said...

What's REALLY tedious, Les, is the consummate ease with which we lost track of what us and is not truly in our best interests as a people in fog and welter of partisan bickering from BOTH sides.

Whatever happened to the quaint notion of putting COUNTRY before PARTY?

Well Free Thinke I suppose your closing question is the proverbial MILLION $ question.

There is probably a million possible answers. Most would be either deflections or evasions to avoid confronting the realities WE as Amecans have created for ourselves.

I believe few differentiate between 'selfishness' and 'rational self interest', let alone understanding the differences. Even they are great.

Given what I read on many con and lib websites, as well as hearing on MSNBC and FOX I hold little belief things will change for the better.

In summary... It doesn't, IMO, much matter. People usually get what they work towards. Smoke and Mirrors Free Thinke, smoke and mirrors.

Shaw,

You've magnificently pissed off the loonies on the rightwing blogs so well they can't stop talking about you. Thanks for doing a good job keeping the loonies in a hysterical tantrum.

Well done Shaw.

Here's what one looney whined on FT's blog:

Full of Crap Nan said..."I think that the lack of commenters here show that your readers are "a bit pissed off" about your two faced comments. It is not hard to understand that. It was bound to happen eventually. We don"t want or need you faced Conservative bloggers. If you want to comment on a Progressives blog then do so, but don’t go there and butter her up and kiss her behind so that she’ll like you. Eventually she’ll turn on you like the snake she is. Remember AOW... She tried it and she was made to look like a fool (something that she is not).
I'm a 55 year old women, who has been around the corner and traveled the world, and I have experienced a lot of things, I am not ignorant, nor am I naive, and if there is one thing in life that I have learned that is NEVER trust a Liberal, especially a Progressive!"

Bwahahahahaha!

If that is to be deemed success Anon then is it not part of the problem?

Mr. Free Thinke,

Can we question the "irrefutable logic of the Right?" And how many bloggers on the right do that? Besides you and RN? You'll NEVER read skudrunner do so. I guarantee it. Or anyone on AOW's blog or Western Hero's or any other iteration of Ralphie's blogs.

Blogging is about presenting a point of view. Usually it is the blogging host's pov. Unless the host specifically states the contrary, I assume when I read a rightwing blog, I get a rightwing pov, and vice versa. I think I've been pretty honest about my pov--it's actually in the title of my blog, "Progressive Eruptions." So I do promote a liberal/progressive pov.

But as long as someone with a differing pov can discuss it without calling me a "libtard," "whore," or "mentally ill," I'll be happy to hear it.

The dust-up over at AOW's blog was about something I wrote ON MY OWN BLOG, not on hers, and that comment was copied and pasted into AOW's comment section. All hell broke loose as a result, and I was maligned for something I did not do.

That whole incident is a microcosm of how, IMHO, the rightwing reacts to ANYTHING! It runs with half-baked information and slathers a generous frosting of innuendos and lies over that info.

RN,

All the noise over the recent revelations will settle down, and then only will information come out. Even now, we're learning that a lot of the noise is nothing more than partisan hackery. See Jeffrey Toobin's remark in today's new post.

Anon,

What you posted is nothing more than a continuation of certain angry rightwingers' determination to force Mr. Free Thinke to do as they want him to do. It's childish. And Mr. Free Thinke will not bend to their demands.

Anon@1030AM,

Very interesting. Are you the same Anon @9:36? So many Anons.

What are you referring to when you say "Pew Poll: 56 Percent Of Americans Say Phone Tracking Is Acceptable Anti-Terror Tactic".
I never mentioned phone tracking.

Even though his lordship campaigned against Bush and his policies, he has kept most of them.

Ms Shaw
Try as I may I cannot determine what you are referring to about my 339 post. Either Ms Rice lied to the American People or she is not very bright. Either way she does not need to be an adviser of anything.
