Belly Flop Donald

UPDATE BELOW:

" 'Donald Trump has entered the fray of Republican Presidential candidates with all the grace of a bully doing cannonballs and belly flops at the local swimming pool,' said Barry Blitt about his cover for next week’s issue.

'I'll certainly be watching the first televised debate, just around the corner, on August 6th. Trump never fails to provide hours of slack-jawed amazement.' ”

On another story about Belly Flop Donald, The Huffington Post has made the decision to cover Trump's Excellent Adventure in Presidential Politics in its Entertainment Section, not its Political Coverage Section.

Makes sense.

Who has given us more laughs over the last month than the Bloviating Billionaire Blatherer?

This is YOOOOOOGE!

UPDATE:

From P.M Carpenter via INFIDEL753:

Quote for the day -- gazing into the abyss:

"You're probably afflicted by the same despair: a painfully desperate but hopeless groping for rhetorical precision. How does one find words that convey the illimitable repugnance one feels each time modern conservatism makes itself known? I sense the presence of an abyss, a monstrous darkness, an almost occult vortex of immeasurable ignorance and unthinking malice. It's as though I see the GOP stalking and myself stalking behind, yet when I catch up to it, when I reach the predator, it is but a mist -- a disembodied, ungrippable haze of beastly malevolence and wanton stupidity; a kind of violent blankness." Yup, but his polling numbers are the best in the broad field of GOP candidates. He's hurting Cruz the most.

Trump, Bush, and Walker. the Trio to watch

Trump must be paying the pollsters.

"Donald Trump Tops Fox News Poll With GOP Primary Voters"

No, Jerry, he doesn't need to pay the people who are saying he'd be a perfect preznit, they're the same deep thinkers who believed Sarah Palin was a political force to be reckoned with.

They always choose theatrical swagger and over substance.

Donald Trump? All hair and no follicles.

Jerry Critter said...

LOL!

Trump has hit a certain chord that plays well with millions of Americans. Right now he is defining the terms of debate.

It is up to reasonable moderates to redirect the focus and the debate. Lest the fringes lead us over the cliff.

RN: Yup, but his polling numbers are the best in the broad field of GOP candidates.

.....among Republican voters. And he also polls as least popular of all the candidates with the general electorate, and as the Republican who would lose to Hillary by the biggest margin.

His strength with Republican primary voters just shows how far removed those voters are from the mainstream of the country.

Shaw: they're the same deep thinkers who believed Sarah Palin was a political force to be reckoned with.

Yep -- after they've had another seven years to go even further off the deep end.

Trump is Palin with testosterone, in a Republican fever-swamp environment now fine-tuned to let such monsters thrive -- until they meet the outside world.

Or just another Palin without balls?

PS It don't take "balls" to shoot off an ignorant mouth, just chutzpah and enough money to let you get away with it. Talk about Trump will continue for a while, but he's not going to be the nominee.

Not a cliff, but a Democrat as president. I see that as a plus.

Has Trump considered asking Palin to be his ruiningmate?

It worked so well for McCain, it could do the same for the Trumpet.

Keep it classy Trumpy:

Donald Trump on John McCain as a POW: 'He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured. Perhaps he's a war hero.'

This is the guy a lot of Tea-Pee-ers believe should represent America to the world. He attacked a guy who spent 5 years being tortured as a POW.

And where exactly was the Trumpet? Getting several deferments so he wouldn't put his fat privileged ass in the line of fire.

What a guy.

Completely un-self-aware of how incredibly cretinous his latest Tweet attacking McCain is.

Remember how Sarah Palin felt she had to answer every and all comments about her? As Infidel753 said, his guy is Palin on steroids (or meth). Remember how well that worked for her?

Depends on who. Definitely not HCR. Webb maybe. Sanders is at least honest and we'd know what we would be getting.

Looking like 3'rd party again Jerry.

From Talking Points Memo:

"...Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign with the immortal words: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best … They’re sending people that have lots of problems. And they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.” And, immediately, Trump shot to the top of the Republican charts—with a bullet: he’s now the most popular candidate among GOP likely voters, four points ahead of Jeb Bush.

There’s an enormous amount to learn in this juxtaposition about how conservatism works at its deepest levels. It drives liberals crazy when conservatives dress themselves in the clothes of the great social-justice movements of the past: when they avow that were he alive now Martin Luther King would be a Republican, when they compare their crusades to force pregnant women to give birth to Mahatma Gandhi’s March to the Sea. This is not a new development; indeed, it’s baked into the reactionary cake.

Conservatives understand that the direction of human history is not on their side—that, other things equal, civilization does tend toward more inclusion, more emancipation, more liberalism. That is the great source of their anger."

And such ANGER! Visit any right wing news site or blog and they are overflowing with hatred and despair, blaming African-Americans, Mexicans, Jews, Islam, Liberalism, Women, Gays, Atheists and Hollywood for all the things they fear and loathe. They never look within themselves or people they admire--Donald Trump-- to see what the real problem is.

Les Carpenter said...

Not.

Visit mine. Fiscally conservatism (Classical Liberalism) and liberal, or libertarian personal
and social positions.

Few people fall either way into the one size fits all mentality. Except the die hard partisans on either side.

Well, Donald certainly has plenty of reasons to howl at the moon.

The Teabag media has it's latest edited video (i.e. outright lie) of a Planned Parenthood meeting.

The open carry crew are patrolling in front of recruiting stations in Georgia.

Still time to try to cripple the Iranian weapons deal. An atomic escalation in the region would be the
safe, prudent choice.

Is "Jade Helm" still getting ready for firearms confiscation?

The first debate is only a couple weeks off, no? This will all still be news and the danger is that his blather somehow gives Walker a chance to appear sane. You don't have to worry about that with most of the rest of them but Walker is one sly bastard.

Trump on John McCain: "He's a war hero because he was captured," Trump said during an appearance at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, on Saturday. "I like people who weren't captured."

We all knew that eventually Trumpet's self-aggrandizement, his inability to tell the difference between his egotistical self-love and reality would catch up with him.

It finally happened. This is his Sarah Palin moment, when finally the right wingers end their orgasmic orgy over their newest shiny object and understand that Trump is nothing more than a piss-poor player who struts and preens his hour upon the stage and then, it is hoped, is heard no more. He is an idiot, full of sound-bites and tweets, signifying nothing.

Bye, bye, jackass. You're toast.

Meanwhile, never forget that the Tea-Pee-ers thought he was magnificent and worthy of the presidency of the USA.

Sarah Palin, Donald Trump -- Zero for two in the Tea-Pee-ers' Hall of Most Admired Asshats.

Wow! Such angst, such anger. It is time to mellow.Chill out. Life is too short as it is.
