This is the guy the TPers admire and believe would make a great president.
He's what the GOP has become: Loud, boorish, and ugly.
Busted. Donald Trump deleted this tweet attacking Jeb Bush over his Mexican wife:
"Trump deleted the tweet, but as almost everyone already knows, nothing is really ever deleted from the Internet. Jeb Bush’s wife is Mexican, but she is not illegal. The problem for Republicans remains that Trump’s racism is very popular within their party."

Good for Trump letting America know how much many TGOPers love scummy racists.
And Ted Crud really, really like his Donald.
Trumpy is a lot like the asshats on far right blogs who write racist comments so people will pay attention to them. Otherwise no one would give a s**t about what they have to say.
The proverbial loose cannon.
He's going to be a one man wrecking crew during the debates.
Duck... I can't wait... But really, isn't he just saying what we see on some of the more "I hate Obama and all libtards" blogs?
I think we all should promote Trump. He is the GOP's worst nightmare. He tells the truth about them.
R.O.F., I'm not sure the GOP is as thrilled with Trump's outbursts as his TeaParty fans are.
Ducky, I so want to hear Trump in a debate.
BTW, I watched "Greater Boston" with Jim Braude tonight talk about Wynn Everett. The guy representing Wynn was mouthing the same promises other casino promoters have in the past. Braude asked how they would guarantee Boston all this income when there are 60 casinos in the New England area. Look at how Trump's Atlantic City worked out for that area. The guy went into a slick little speech that was totally unconvincing.
It's just a bad deal all around, IMO>
That's it, Dave. He's hoping the crazy vote is enough to give him some momentum.
It's a question of whether he can go too far even for them ... nah.
I think I read that Wynn is having some revenue problems lately.
He'll probably try to package this monstrosity with the Olympic bid.
Such a parcel of rogues.
The problem for Trump is Trump. The problem for the republican party is the Tea wing of the party likes his sh*t and rest is basically too damn dumb to call him on his bigotry.
He's not a serious man and he's not a serious candidate.
He's the Republican id let loose in the world. He's Hyde to Bush's Jekyll, the underlying evil made flesh. It's no wonder the teabagger base loves him for "telling it like it is".
And the party establishment is stuck with him. Much as they'd like to exclude him from the debates on some pretext or pressure him into withdrawing (as many believe they did to Romney), they don't dare make him mad. He's rich enough to self-fund an independent campaign and do a Ross Perot on them. How the baggers would flock to him if he did! It would be the last nail in the coffin of Jeb's aspirations.
From Huffington Post:
"Donald Trump is appealing to people ... who hate politics, who hate politicians. And Donald Trump is someone coming out there who they view as a straight-shooter, someone who's different and fresh..."
I wouldn't call what Trump's doing "fresh." Go to any right wing blog and you'll see that since January 20, 2009, the right has been bashing politics and politicians, especially the one in the White House. People find Trump appealing because he parrots their own crude and ill-informed opinions. Trump says everything they're paranoid over, and he says it as only an overprivileged and loud-mouthed bully can say it.
While I agree that he's racist - I don't agree with all of the headlines that say that quote is calling his wife an illegal alien. That's not what the tweet says.
The Great Donald is the up graded version of the Palin phenomenon of 2008
Donald's Plan to Make America Great Again sells well to those who see everything in simplistic patriotic terms. He will do very well with the Tea Party wing of the GOP and the uniformed voter. Not enogh to make him a real contender IMV.
It does make for good comedy however.
Trump is not a serious man, but if enough baggers love him, he is a serious candidate.

I don't think it's an upgrade but you certainly are correct making a connection.
They really miss that idiot. Question is, why?
it's a goddam conspiracy, is what it is! See, Trump can say all this stupid ass shit and then when the rest of the GROP candydates say plain old stupid shit...why,gosh....they almost sound intelligent.
@Ducky... By upgraded I simply mean by virtue (or lack thereof) by the office sought by Trump versus Palin.
