From a cephalopod perspective, I must ask: Don’t you folks have larger fish to fry? What is it about phonies, misfits, narcissists, and psychopaths that holds you in thrall?

What you folks don’t take under consideration: Narcissists and psychopaths thrive on attention. Every time you visit their site and leave a comment, or laugh at their juvenile Punch-and-Judy show, or joust, exchange insults, or play in the same sandbox … it makes you no better than them. Even worse, every provocation and every attention accorded them … emboldens and legitimizes them. In essence, you are supplying them with the ego food that sustains them. Letting them know they bother you in some way keeps them going. There is only one way to handle disturbed personalities: Ignore and marginalize them. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO VALIDATES THEIR REASON TO EXIST.

Finally, what makes you think you are any better than them? Does this statement shock you? It shouldn’t. If you don’t appreciate being harassed and stalked by trolls, then don’t act like one by visiting them. I believe, the word for it is hypocritical!

It is my choice to expose her and her sock puppets' treachery and duplicity whenever they steal my name or my comments and posts, but especially a post that attaches my blog name to anti-Semitic statements such as was published above. That is slander, and I have a right to answer it as I see fit, and I see fit to show anyone who comes here what charlatans and shape-shifters they are.

We all deal with liars and cheats in a way that is best for each of us as individuals.

In a spirit of common cause and common decency, I have defended conservative writers assailed by the Eumenides of Groupthink (HERE).

At this stage in the evolution of the Internet, the medium has devolved into a savage place with con artists, hackers, scammers, and stalkers everywhere … a veritable cesspool of humanity. Phony aliases? Plagiarism? Bigoted rants? What else is new! When you have reached a point of diminishing returns, it is time to change strategy … with a change in attitude.

The Internet forces us to ask ethical questions and make moral decisions: Why allow disturbed people to get your goat knowing full well that the most pathological among them take pleasure in your discomfort? Why give them this satisfaction? Unless your safety is threatened (which is a legitimate law enforcement matter), it makes no sense to continue an unhealthy preoccupation with unhealthy people.

Regarding our friends who visit the rabble in order to taunt them, such Ducky and JMJ and others, why go there? Why feed this pestilence? Make an ethical choice and show some citizenship. Ignore them, GODDAMMIT!

There's another element that is at play on that particular blog.

Women with strong political opinions who write those opinions on their own blogs disturb certain weak-brained males who feel compelled to use any dishonorable method, including sexual threats and slander, to shut them down.

One cannot find a rational argument that argues for continuing to visit said site. My original purpose for visiting the subject weblog was to engage in honest discussion with other honest active minded conservatives, as well as defending liberals who offered resonable factal comments when they were attacked. Things
went downhill quickly.

Facts stand on their own. No one has attacked the fact that most of the comments are from the same people under different names! They pretend to be liberals so their audience can attack what they say? Worse than weird, it's crazy. I agree you have the right to defend your blog name. I do kind of miss the kook that had at least a 100 different monikers, all from the same block in Long Beach NY.
I had the same 4 kooks infest my local Oracle Speaks site years ago. They never minded or even tried to go to a different house to post silliness. That would be an interesting study as to why they feel they need that many monikers. Guess they thought a bunch of "followers" even if they were all one or two actual people inflated their egos or compensated for a sexless existence.
