General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

Scott Walker...

wants to be your WAR preznit!  He's prepared to launch military action against Iran right after he's sworn in as POTUS, even before lunch!  He's just itching for a big fat bloody war--looking forward to spending human treasure and capital to show the world that he, Scott "Koch" Walker, has you-know-whats made of steel.  Can you hear them clanging?

From Digby:

"At a press conference after his appearance at the Family Leader Summit here Saturday, Walker was asked if he thinks Bush is wrong. “He may have his opinion. I believe that a president shouldn’t wait to act until they put a cabinet together or an extended period of time,” Walker said.

“I believe they should be prepared to act on the very first day they take office. It’s very possible – God forbid, but it’s very possible – that the next president could be called to take aggressive actions, including military action, on the first day in office. And I don’t want a president who is not prepared to act on day one. So, as far as me, as far as my position, I’m going to be prepared to be president on day one.”

So if you're dreaming of another war in the Middle East, this reckless Koch-a-doodle-do is your man.

I think the republican candidates are backed into a position of having to act loonier than Donald Trump to get any attention. Of course they may be happy about it as their loonieness has most likely barely been scratched. Is funny to think Ted Cruz and Rand Paul have been holding back on their loonieness.

Walker's saber-rattling bravado isn't just loony, it's reckless. Of course he couldn't carry out what he's threatened to do if he were elected POTUS. Sane people know that Walker is just strut-talking, appealing to the reality-challenged kooks in the base. They're the ones who are thrilled with the likes of Trump, so Walker has to go one-loonie-upsmanship to show the base he can be just as much of an impulsive teenager as is the Trumpet.

OT, Shaw. Donal Trump loves veterans, so the clown says:

“Donald Trump is not a leader in veterans’ philanthropy, unless he’s donated a lot of money that nobody knows about,” said Paul Rieckhoff, founder and chief executive of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. “We were founded in New York. We are headquartered in New York. I’ve been here 10 years, and I don’t think I’ve ever even seen Donald Trump.”

It's like 1968 again and the hippies have found anew cause . ;'-)

In all seriousness Walker's statement is like one you might expect to hear during a BS session with your buddies at a local bar over a few beers while discussing what if scenario s.

Hey, these days a president needs to be prepared to make snap decisions. Ya just never know when an imaginary boogie man in a dark corner of the world might launch a nuke our way. I mean it could happen .

Walker, powered by loon power on steroids, wants America to know he is prepared to be America's super hero if necessary.

http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/scott-walker-issues-executive-order-to-arm-wisconsin-national-guard-members-b99541846z1-317802181.html

“Safety must be our top priority, especially in light of the horrific attack in Chattanooga. Allowing our National Guard members to carry weapons while on duty gives them the tools they need to serve and protect our citizens, as well as themselves. " HMMMM HMMM hmmmm.....could be some hostile, jihadist, terrorist Holsteins roaming them there farms!

OhOhOh....and see, heza gotz alla sorts of expertness on how to handle terroristas like union teachers and organized labor.....

“I want a commander in chief who will do everything in their power to ensure that the threat from radical Islamic terrorists does not wash up on American soil. We will have someone who leads and ultimately will send a message not only that we will protect American soil but do not, do not, take this upon freedom-loving people anywhere else in the world. We need a leader with that kind of confidence. If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world.”

But,as early as it is, I think I need a beer. Sheesh. Maybe the ISIclists will invade. Best be drunk when they show up.

What an amazingly dumb thing to say. Shows he's not a rational thinker. So to Walker, thousands of his fellow Wisconsin citizens protesting are like blood thirsty murderous jihadists in the ME? How does the fact that he faced unarmed PEACEFUL demonstrators in Wisconsin make anyone believe he'd be able to stand up to ISIS? It, of course, doesn't, but those whose thinking, like Walker's, is as complex as a balloon full of air will nod their collective heads and say 'Damn straight!"

Another Tempest in the Tea-Pee-ers' pot. President Obama today ordered all flags to fly at half-staff to honor the victims of the Chattanooga massacre.

Too late! cry the malcontents who criticize everything President Obama does if it's not done the way they say it should be done. Sad unhappy little people who entertain themselves by being dickish about everything concerned with this administration.

And Obama promised to ramp up the war with Afghanistan when he first ran for president, and he did.

Sooo.. heres a question...from a former US Marine... why not fly the flag at half mast EVERY time a US service member dies!? Because it would be down 24 hours a day, EVERY day... you civilians use words like "treasonous" to describe a president who is just doing his job! The flag is not federally ordered to half mast for the deaths of active duty military as such deaths are considered "in the line of duty". In events such as the Fort Hood shootings, American civilians were among the deaths. As Marines, soldiers, airmen or sailors, we go to work expecting that we might die everyday...no matter if we're grunts or secretaries... its our job, we volunteered and we dont expect extra. "So, this is a special case" you may argue... well then YOU pick and choose what servicemen and women get the flag flown at half mast for their deaths...and then YOU be prepared to tell the parents and wives of the other several thousand that die in combat zones out of your earshot and eyesight, that youre sorry, but their death wasnt worthy of lowering the flag. Individual states handle flag etiquette in situations like these so that the president doesnt have to pick and choose "which military personnel were more deserving of flag lowering"... People need to get over themselves and not develop caustic, conflagratory opinions about things that they have no idea on the inner workings of.

False equivalence, Sylvia. Obama didn't come into office and then start the Afghan war, did he. That would be GWB you're thinking of.
