Another Country, Australia, Thinks Trump Stinks

Our allies are piling on and wondering if America is really going to jump off the cliff and actually nominate a bloviating charlatan for the most important job on the planet.

First Britain's Parliament spent 3 hours ridiculing the Trumper and agreeing that he's a clown, a baboon, a demagogue, and all around jerk. Then Der Spiegel published an issue with Trump's photo on the cover, and wondering if America has gone mad.

Now here's another ally, Australia, weighing in on what other counties believe is a sick madness that has taken over one of America's political parties.

It makes one wonder how the Trumper could hope to be a world leader when a lot of that world thinks he's a jackass:

Only in America: Looking at Trump from ‘Down Under’

h/t Infidel753

Only in America.

From Down Under we see a sick deluded man of no redeeming features, full of racial hatred, bile and misogyny. A deluded pathetic liar unsuitable for the highest office in the land, if not the world. He sees complex problems and impregnates them with populism and implausible black and white solutions. He is a person of limited intellect and understanding only capable of seeing the world through the prism of his own wealth.

The far edges of knowledge seem to have passed him by. Matters requiring deep philosophical consideration seem beyond him. His opinions on subjects of internal and international importance are so shallow that one would think he spent the entirety of his youth in the wading pool at the local swimming pool, or six years in grade six and never academically advanced. He is a crash through politician with a ubiquitous mouth.

Trump remains an incoherent mess who bounces back after each disaster thinking he has been impressive while those around him are laughing their heads off. Entertaining in a uniquely American way he might be to the hillbillies but leadership requires worldly character.

Is America to have, an ignoramus of first world order, as President?

Good question. But a majority of the T-GOP are all sh*ts and giggles about having a loud-mouth, "incoherent mess" represent them.

I bet we could find some "we" people in Australia that would support a Donald Trump there. But I suspect the majority of Americans and Australians agree with the way you see him.

I'm sure Donald is sending out nasty tweets against them as we speak.

Didn't think of it right away. He Trump actually managed to alienate a whole continent with the Australians.

As much as loath him all that matters today is the Iowa caucus attendees.

Substantial snow is predicted today and may favor Cruz who probably has an even more rabid base.

If La Trump takes this one I still wonder what the mainstream can do to stop him.

Without the fringe support, Trumpf would be just another loudmouth in the crowd.

Make him inhale helium.

Past Iowa caucus winners: Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum.

That's what I think of the Iowa caucuses.

Trump isn't even close to being president. Maybe you should mention all the actual presidents America has had, that the majority of world leaders hated and thought were bigoted haters and nuts nuts.

Anon @2:32, that's not what this post is about. Specifically, this post is about another ally thinking Trump is a terrible candidate for US president. If you want to write about other presidents and what other countries though of them at other times, I suggest you get a blog a do so.

Every time a troll comes here and tells me what I should write instead of what I've written, a little fleck of Trumps spittle dries up and leaves a stain on his signature tie that was manufactured in Mexico.

Call Me Hank, you make a valid point. As does (O)CT(O) PUS.

As we approach summer I think Trump's support will soften. If it does be prepared for Cruz. A greater threat to civil liberties and stability.

Howard,

Neo-fascists dwell in every country on the globe. I'm sure there are nativists in Australia who believe Trump is the rat's pajamas.

Kevin,

Trump's candidacy runs on nasty tweets. And yes, he may be the only presidential candidate who's pissed off an entire continent.

Ducky,

I agree with Hank who observed that Huckabee and Santorum once won Iowa. Winning Iowa doesn't mean a candidate will win the presidency.

(O)CT(O),

Trump sounds horrible as it is, without inhaling helium. But I'd love to hear him sound like a chipmunk while telling us how GREAT! he is and how much WINNING the U.S. will have when he's preznit.

Trump has answered more questions than any other candidate from a wide variety of sources, and he's answered them more candidly.

Shaw, that's true but Huckleberry and L'il Ricky had limited support.

Trump has solid leads in N.H, South Carolina and Nevada.
Without something to slow his momentum he becomes a real problem (not that the rest of the clown car isn't).

Re: The Iowa Caucuses: Anyone heard from Dr. Carson? What happened to his fan club who thought he'd be the next president? The T-GOP Afro-American hero! Ben Carson: MIA. I heard that a bale of hay would beat him. LOL!

Candidly? Yeah. If telling everyone how great he is and how much winning the USA will have is candid, yes, you're right. But your definition of "candidly" and what Trump has delivered are two different things. For example he answered a question on health care with this:

'We’ll work something out’ so people aren’t ‘dying’"

Wow, A Proud Conservative! That's amazing, and detailed, and candid!

Jeebus. These people are pathetic!

Ducky, true. Trump has solid leads -- with the T-GOP. His negative NATIONALLY however are awful. People don't like him. Even the people who like him, don't like him.

Do you think this country has sunk so low that it would elect this jerk as president?

Can anyone tell us what his policies are? Other than building a big beautiful wall on our border and making Mexico pay for it? And that America is going to be sick of winning?

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winnah:

Dumbest comment of the week!

The wingnuts are so craven, so utterly without any scruples that they have to blame President Obama for their stupid choices. This is EXACTLY the sort of behavior one expects from a spoiled brat of a child who stubbornly will not accept responsibility for his rotten behavior.

It's always someone else's fault when the T-GOPers do something egregiously dumb.

Disgusting.

Hi Shaw,
I saw your post on “Progressive Eruptions,” which included a caricature / distortion of Donald Trump. Is this your artwork? I would like to use part of it for a graphic I am using. Normally I would just create one of my own, but this one is really good for my purposes. The final piece(s) would more than likely just be posted on various Facebook pages with credits posted if requested. Any other uses I would seek further permission(s). If you need further details regarding the image just ask.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Sincerely, V.G. Nadz

VG Nadz,

The image on this post is not mine. I found it on the internet, Google images. Sorry I can't be of further help. S. Kenawe
