Spectacular imagery. It would be nice if the person who compiled the video had provided a list of where these places are, but I recognized a couple of them (and I assume a lot of the beginning is from Antarctica). The colossal waterfalls must surely be in tropical Africa and South America. Nowhere else has water flows on such a scale.

Seeing views like the forests here, with their exuberance of spectacular life, always makes me think -- what if the Rare Earth Hypothesis is correct and our planet is the only place that has such life, in a vast but otherwise dead universe? It's a daunting thought.

Infidel753, I, too, recognized many of the locations. I think many of them came from Sir Richard Attenborough's "Planet Earth" series.

Are we the only planet with intelligent life? Well, we may be the only planet with our particular forms of life. Intelligent? After November 8, I wouldn't characterize it as such.
