General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."
Tomorrow will be intense. I'm reasonably confident that Hillary Clinton will win, but I'm not going to bed until I know who our next president will be.
Americans, VOTE! Too much is on the line right now for any of us to stay home.
Dave, I just read someone somewhere (I've been reading a lot of articles on this election), someone said that our Latino/Hispanic citizens just may save America from fascism. I think we all will owe our Latino/Hispanic brothers and sisters our eternal gratitude.
Dave, I volunteer teach for our local ESOL classes. More than half of our students, from ages 18 to 55, are from Central and South America (in other years we had several from Mexico but they've gone on to the intermediate and advanced classes). These students are dedicated, smart men and women who express their desire to learn English and become American citizens.
I see no difference in their aspirations than those of my relatives who came to America from Italy, learned English, and became proud citizens who loved America, served proudly in her military, and respected their Italian heritage. Like all immigrants who've come before them, our Latino/Hispanic students speak their native language at home with their elders, but are learning English themselves to become full citizens. This is like my family's experience. My two grandmothers never spoke English well -- mostly a combination of Italian and English, but their children, my parents became fluent in it and we, their grandchildren, actually had to learn Italian in school! My parents spoke it to each other when they didn't want us to understand what they were talking about. (I did manage to pick up some phrases and words which I will not repeat here.)
Many of the ESOL students have become my friends. I have nothing but admiration for their work ethic and determination to succeed in this country. If they are ultimately responsible for keeping Donald Trump out of the White House, they will also have my eternal gratitude.

Wonderful speeches by the FLOTUS, POTUS and, of course, Bill Clinton. Hillary talking now. HUGE crowd! Loving it.
Was that all? I think that qualifies as yuuuge!
BTW... new approval numbers for Obama peg him at 56%, exactly the same as Pres Reagan on the eve of the 1988 elections.
Just sayin...

Bluebull, I watched the rally. Fantastic.
Ahab, mercifully it'll all be over by this time tomorrow night. Stop by for a virtual celebration.
I early voted a week ago.
I've been practicing patriotic music on the big pipe organ!
Shaw... one person here in Nevada said Latinos here built a huge beautiful wall for HRC...
If she wins, she will owe a huge gracias y muy bien to her newest amigos!
