Bigotry Becomes Elected
I've brought this post forward to today from its original date of 12/14 because "Anonymous" left a comment last night accusing me of being a "coastal elite," and not a "real American." (See the discussion in the comment section.) Anonymous hasn't been heard from since he left his note last night at 8:30 PM nor after I answered him.
Conservatives are never better at their jobs than when they've attained power sufficient to allow them to propose and pass laws that institutionalize their rancid bigotry.
Now that our Bigot-elect, Donnie Little Hands, is set to take the Oath of Office and unleash the Dogs of Hate across America, the Goopers feel emboldened to reassert their right to repress the old, the sick, the young, religious minorities, voter minorities, women, and, of course, the focus of their most virulent hatred, the LGBTQ community.
They mean to shove our gay brothers and sister and others in the LGBTQ community back into the closet and give power to those whose fondest dream is to make life miserable for other Americans.
By passing this anti-freedom legislation, the Republicans will federalize hatred, discrimination, and repression.
Welcome to the Neo-Jim Crow Era, brought to you by the Trumpian Neo-Fascists:
From The Independent:
Republican Utah senator Mike Lee told BuzzFeed that he planned to reintroduce the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) next term, and said he was confident president-elect Trump would sign it.
FADA, or HR 2802, would grant protection to individuals who opposed same-sex marriage or premarital sex. In other words, discriminatory action could not be taken against people who discriminate against LGBT members.
Discriminatory action includes denying someone tax exemptions, withholding grants or contracts or denying federal benefits.
The bill is co-sponsored by Texas senator and former presidential candidate Ted Cruz. He said: “The prospects for protecting religious freedom are brighter now than they have been in a long time.” "Hopefully November’s results will give us the momentum we need to get this done next year,"
Conn Carroll, Lee’s spokesman, told BuzzFeed. "We do plan to reintroduce FADA next Congress and we welcome Trump’s positive words about the bill."
In North Carolina, popstars, athletes and big corporations all boycotted the state in response to an anti-LGBT bill which was signed under governor Pat McCrory. The bill is likely to be repealed under the newly elected Democratic governor, but the proposed FADA federal bill, if it came into power, would cast doubt over the legality of such a boycott.
From the Daily Beast:
But those stories are a red herring. The more important cases are ones like hospitals refusing to treat LGBT people (or their children), pharmacies refusing to fill birth control prescriptions, businesses refusing to offer health benefits to a same-sex partner, and state-funded adoption agencies refusing to place kids with gay families. Underneath the rhetorical BS, that’s what FADA is all about.
First, the bill applies to any corporation, organization, or person who “believes or acts in accordance with a religious belief or moral conviction that marriage is or should be recognized as the union of one man and one woman, or that sexual relations are properly reserved to such a marriage.”
Notice how broad that is: any business, agency, or individual, including government employees, hospitals, or huge businesses like Hobby Lobby or Chick-Fil-A. Old-age homes and hospices that turn away gay people – yes, this has actually happened – are covered.
Hospitals that refuse a same-sex partner visitation rights – covered. National hotel chains that refuse to rent rooms to gay couples (or unmarried straight ones) – covered. And notice that it applies not just to religious beliefs about same-sex marriage, but also to sexual conduct in general. Translation: contraception, sex education, treatment of STDs – all of these are part of the bill. If a national pharmacy chain wants to refuse to fill prescriptions for the “morning after pill,” if a company wants to fire someone for being pregnant out of wedlock or becoming HIV positive, if a public school wants to stop teaching sex ed – all covered.

The striking common thread in all this is Christians fighting desperately to win the right to exclude, to reject, to refuse. It is all about the right to tell people "You're not good enough to do business with us", "you're wrong", "you can't".
Since this is how Christianity in the US of today chooses to present itself, it's no wonder more and more people -- especially young people -- are turning away from it.
Even if they win, on a deeper level they lose.
Infidel... IMHO, the amount of damage supporting Trump has done to evangelicals cannot be overstated. I've asked many leaders from around the country how the church reaches out now to people who opposed Trump and they are unable to even process the question. They are still stuck on HRC was so bad, what other options were there.
If evangelicals thought people were sick of them before, based on my conversations with younger non believers, they have no clue what damage this election had done.
"By passing this anti-freedom legislation"
What bill is this?
Lets get people to call their representatives and vote it down!
Dave, All you need to know about Christian evangelical values is that they put party above Christ and country.
They are willing to accept as president a man who is everything they believe is contra to Christian values, and it's hilarious to read their justification for supporting a serial adulterer, cheater, fraud, sexual assaulter, and a man who bragged about not having to ask for forgiveness for any transgressions, by saying God uses imperfect people to carry out his will!
Who was more "imperfect" in their eyes than Barack Hussein Obama, and when did we ever hear them say perhaps God chose OBAMA to "carry out his will?" They're the worst sort of hypocrites who use religion to cover up their failings.
And yes, many young people are disgusted with their hypocrisy.
shaw, corrupt attracts corrupt:
Democratic Senators Tom Udall (D-NM), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Edward J. Markey (D-MA), and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) sent a letter to Trump’s Education Secretary nominee, Betsy DeVos, to pay the $5.3 million in fines that have been levied against her super PAC for election violations.
The Senators wrote in their letter:
The bipartisan Ohio Elections Commission unanimously found both the federal and Ohio All Children Matter PACs to have violated the state’s campaign finance laws and imposed fines of $5.2 million. An Ohio court subsequently upheld the fine and imposed additional late fees for failing to pay. Rather than pay the fines for violating the law, the All Children Matter PACs simply ceased operation and never paid the significant sum it owed to the state of Ohio.
The blatant disregard for the law that your PAC demonstrated is deeply troubling. However, when the organization’s violations of law were punished by the Ohio Elections Commission, the PAC’s refusal to take responsibility and pay the fines is unconscionable.
If confirmed as Secretary of Education, you would be responsible for administering our nation’s student loan programs and ensuring that borrowers repay their loans in a timely manner. However, the PAC that you chaired failed to pay fines that were imposed on it over eight years ago. This demonstrates a serious lack of judgment by the PAC’s board and a willingness to avoid paying legally obligated public debts.
US Nuclear technology is under the National Nuclear Security Administration, a critical division of the Department of Energy. Its importance is such that:
"The current head of the Department of Energy is Dr. Ernest Moniz, a former Professor of Physics and Engineering Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In fact, four out of the last five heads of the Department of Energy were world-renowned and/or Nobel Prize-winning scientists with a deep understanding of physics and nuclear weapons."
We learn that the post at Department of Energy is so critical that after serious consideration, Trump settled on Rick Perry.
Rick Perry’s last job was as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
Alt-Reality, get used to it.
D.K.J.,
3 million more Americans voted for Hillary than voted for Trump and now even GOP electors are running away from him. Trump is the most disliked P.E. in U.S. history.
Harvard professor: Republican members of Electoral College are considering turning on Trump
BB-Idaho,
More evidence of Trumps total lack of understanding of anything other than building casinos and and grabbing beauty contestants in the crotchety. Rick Perry is the worst choice one could imagine for head of energy. We are almost country.
Damn auto correct. Crotch, not crotchety.
NO, trump, your "win" was NOT HISTORIC nor impressive....
Of 58 Presidential elections, trump's came in #46 in Electoral Votes and number 58 in being behind in the popular vote... He is close to 3 million votes behind Hillary...
Does this mean a guy with five o'clock shadow wearing a dress wont be allowed to whip his schlong out and piss in a public ladies room while a couple horrified 10 year old girls are standing there.
Dave Miller: And they've been doing this since long before Trump even started his run for President. Deny marriage to gays, reject gays as customers, as neighbors, as humans. Deny women access to abortion or to forms of birth control that conflict with religious taboos. The laws Shaw quotes here are extreme examples and on the federal level, now that they feel emboldened by Trump's "win".
Anonymous @7:54 wrote:
"Does this mean a guy with five o'clock shadow wearing a dress wont be allowed to whip his schlong out and piss in a public ladies room while a couple horrified 10 year old girls are standing there."
No, Anon, it doesn't mean that at all, because that's not what has ever happened, except in the fevered swamp minds of hysterics like you.
But what IS real is the fact that a man who bragged about assaulting women by grabbing their "pussies" will be living in the people's house, the White House. Anon, do you have a mother? a wife? a daughter? a sister? Just think about the pig you voted for and put in office: A man who actually bragged about grabbing women's genitals against their will, a man who allowed a shock jock to call his own daughter a "piece of ass," a man who bragged about looking at teenage beauty contestants naked in their dressing rooms; a man who lusted after his own daughter; a man who uses women to satisfy his Hindenburg sized ego. That, Anon, is real, unlike your stupid suppositions about transgendered people.
What Trump has done is real. Your comment is not. You voted for a filthy pig who actually did those things to women.
You are as disgusting as Trump is.
So Shaw, I take it you aren't a Trump fan. Do you feel a bit hypocritical when you and your ilk give a pass to Bill Clinton's treatment of women?
Anonymous, where did you get the evidence that I gave Clinton a pass? Like most of you Trump supporters, you deflect attention away from Trump by bringing up what happened 24 years ago.
What Clinton did to women doesn't excuse Trump's swinish behavior, does it. That you think talking about Clinton somehow makes Trump less of a pig is hilarious. Trump is actually worse. Trump brags in public about sexually assaulting women.
Clinton's behavior was indefensible, but at least he didn't pimp his own daughter out to a shock jock like Trump did when he told Howard Stern it was okay to call Ivanka "a piece of ass." And we all know what that means. Trump, a father of a young daughter, thought it was cool for a creep, Stern, to tell his audience that Ivanka was f**kable. And Trump the father didn't punch Stern in the face, as any protective, normal father would have.
That's who you're defending. That slimy pig.
Shaw, your abject hatred for President Elect Trump cant be healthy. You might want to turn you anger towards a democratic party in disarray. A party who not only put forth one of the worst candidates ever but also continues to push tired, fringe policies.
Anonymous, hatred for Trump is well grounded not lamentable. He was, after all, found to be the biggest and most egregious liar of the 2016 presidential campaign. He also insulted an entire group of people, Mexicans, as rapists and criminals; he insulted POWs, because he said he like people who aren't caught. Trump mocked a disabled journalist, threatened to prevent an entire religion from entering the U.S., insulted Megyn Kelly who questioned him about his deplorable insults to other women. He threatened to force register all Muslims, including American citizens. He insulted a Gold Star family. He encouraged violence by mob at his rallies. He threatened to imprison his opponent. And then an audio of him bragging about grabbing women by their "pussies" and getting away with it because he's a star emerged. Trump paid $25 million to settle a lawsuit that accused him of cheating young and old out of money for his fraudulent "university." Trump has at least 75+ more lawsuits for various other frauds out against him. He invited Russia to hack into Hillary's emails. He owns a lease on a government property for his DC Trump hotel which will be illegal as soon as he takes the Oath of Office. The CIA has found that Russian and Putin meddled in the election process to put Trump in the White House, and now we learn that Trump knew about this.
Shall I go on?
Only 41% of Americans approve of him as president-elect, the lowest approval rating of a p.e. in modern American electoral history.
He's a pig, a liar, a cheat, a serial adulterer, and a thin-skinned bullying narcissist.
If I didn't dislike him, I would be a traitor to my beautiful country. IMO any American who supports this disaster of a human being as president needs to have his or her head thoroughly examined.
And to top this all off, 3 million more people voted for his opponent than voted for him.
His election was definitely NOT a landslide, as he's lied. Fact are stubborn things. And the facts do not comport with his egregious, filthy lies.
Fringe policies? Health care for all Americans? Civil rights for the LGBTQ community? Safe and legal abortion for women? All of those are supported by a majority of Americans. It is the fringe that seeks to overturn them.
You're living in a toxic bubble of lies and fantasies.
Shaw, due to its fringe policies the dems have become a coastal party, that was quite evident on Nov.8th.
You may want to get away from Boston, travel to the heart of the country and get a does of the real America.
Do you honestly feel over sixty million of you fellow Americans need their heads thoroughly examined?
The toxic bubble has poisoned anonymous' feeble mind.
Facts may be stubborn Shaw, but when the mind only accepts the false facts it wants to hear there is no possibility for truth to bloom. Anonymous is a perfect example.
Anonymous: "Shaw, due to its fringe policies the dems have become a coastal party, that was quite evident on Nov.8th."
S.K.: What became "quite evident" since November 8 is that 3 million more people voted for Hillary than voted for Trump. Numbers don't lie. He lost the popular vote. Coastal party? And what's wrong with that? That's where Americans live. You got a problem with it? The greatest concentration of Americans is in those coastal regions. There are more of us there than anywhere else, and our votes count just as much as any other region in this country.
Anonymous: "You may want to get away from Boston, travel to the heart of the country and get a does of the real America."
No. Why don't YOU come to one of America's great cities and states, eh? We in New England are real Americans, and for you to write your rot that implies that the heartland is the only real America is the height of self-centered elitism. It stinks, and I won't have it.
Massachusetts, for your information, is one of America's finest states. It is the most educated, it's among the best in health care for its citizens, it's among the best for business, and and for all around quality of life with a thriving economy. Whereas one of the reddest of red states that has been under conservative control for years, Mississippi, is one of poorest states in the country with a horrible record in health care for its citizens as well as education and quality of life.
Anonymous: "Do you honestly feel over sixty million of you fellow Americans need their heads thoroughly examined?"
Yes. Including you with your idiotic idea that coastal regions are somehow not the real America. That part of America supports the fly-over and southern states, and they pay more in federal taxes and get back less, while your "real America" sponges off of us.
You may spread your b.s. about "real America" to other blogs but it won't work here because it's a fallacy people like you like to repeat to soothe yourselves when reality hits you in the face.
My father lived through the rise of Mussolini, and he told his children how millions of Italians loved Benito and believed his b.s. just like you and those 60 million believe Trump's b.s.
Trump is a pig, a cheat, a liar, a fraud, an admitted sexual assaulter and a thin-skinned bullying narcissist, and 60 million Americans voting for him doesn't change that one bit.
Notice the self-assured Anonymous of 12/15 8:30PM has disappeared.
Facts are stubborn things. And inconvenient for people like him.
From The Hill:
A visit to Wichita, Kan., isn’t on the bucket list of many Americans. Whereas most travelers fly over Fayetteville, Ark., and Springfield, Mo. They’re not destination spots. The flyover state gripe has nothing to do with the tourist industry of Oklahoma or Nebraska or Iowa. This is about their perceived feelings of abandonment and disrespect from their government. Never mind they’ve elected local, state and national representatives that should reflect their values and interests.
Forsetti’s Justice writes:
“Government has not done enough to help them in many cases but their local and state governments are almost completely Republican and so too are their Representatives and Senators. Instead of holding them accountable, they vote them in over and over and over again.”
Now they’ve elected Donald Trump, the ultimate coastal elite. Trump pandered to their bigotry, and anger at Washington, D.C.
The more entrenched the flyover voting bloc becomes in their voting habits, the further they fall behind economically, by voting against their own interests, the more they blame Washington, D.C. and coastal "liberal elites" for their issues.
Ain't that the truth.
(cont.)
This is a voter demographic fond of describing themselves as hard-working middle-class Americans. Which they are. They’re overwhelmingly middle-aged to senior, white, semi-rural, increasingly suburban and indignant. They seem to be perpetually enraged every election cycle, and after, according to the results.
They either want their country back or they’re tired of being ignored. They regularly blurt the latter as justification for electing right-wing theocrat/closed minds, austerity minded, cultural fascists to office. These are people that use more government subsidy than any segment of the country, but they hate "handouts" to anyone else. They are the largest consumers of SNAP benefits, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
The flyover states are the main reason Congress is irreparably broken.
The alleged silent majority is deafening and easily provoked. They reside in their own echo-chamber bubble of indignation about everything from "New York values" (urban, ethnic rights, LGBT, social justice), to the war on Christmas and Black Lives Matter. They mocked and derided all people’s protests from Occupy to #NoDAPL. Their old standbys are opposing a woman’s right to choose, reinstituting school prayer and eradicating "big government." They hate progress. Their idea of American values is straight from circa 1870.
Hillary Clinton garnered more votes than Trump, 3 million more votes. However, that doesn’t preclude flyover state Trump voters from claiming a landslide and mandate. In 2012 and 2008, Mitt Romney and John McCain received more votes while losing than Trump did in 2016. Yet American-values Trump voters still proclaim a “make America great again” Trump-style mandate. They’re delusional in their belief that their views are more important, more valid, more ethical, and more patriotic than any other groups. They claim American Christian values, home, God and country. White values. Any dissenting viewpoints are taken as literal acts of war.
Anyone who questions the narrow vision of Middle America Christian values, being forced on 325 million people of multiple cultures, religions, no religion, and a mosaic of ethnicities, is deemed ungodly and un-American.
It’s clear cultural fascism.
According to Forbes, these U.S. cities are the best for quality of life to live in:
FORBES: Want To Know Where To Live? These Cities Are Best For Quality Of Life
(The following U.S. cities are ranked out of 230 worldwide as the best for quality of life:)
The first United States city, San Francisco, ringing in at 28, followed by Boston (34), Honolulu (35), Chicago (43), New York City (44), Seattle (46),Los Angeles at (49), Washington DC (51), Pittsburg (56), Philadelphia (57).
Except for Chicago, those are all "coastal" cities that deliver the best quality of life for their citizens.
Detroit came in at #70; Moscow at #167.
Think about that all you Putin fans, Detroit has a better quality of life, according to Forbes' benchmarks, than does Moscow!
August 2016:
Massachusetts Ranked as the Best State Economy in the Country
From the article:
According to Governing magazine, a news and analysis publication for state and local governments, Massachusetts has the best state economy in the country. By looking at factors like unemployment rates, personal income per capita, job growth, and per capita state GDP, the magazine determined which states were faring better than others this year. The Bay State came out on top.
Massachusetts was followed by Oregon, Delaware, Colorado and California. Yet, we didn’t even make it into the top 10 the last time Governing put together a list in 2013. Our new title can be attributed to new strength in sectors like health care, technology, and biotechnology.
Again, coastal states, except for Colorado, which has become a blue state.
And this -- April 2016:
How Massachusetts Became The Best State In Education
BOSTON (CBS) November 2015 – If your home is in Massachusetts, you live in the best state in the country, according to a new report.
Financial news website 247wallst.com ranked every state on livability, and Massachusetts came out on top. In fact, New England states took up the first three slots on the list, with Connecticut and New Hampshire finishing right behind the Bay State.
The ranking was based on the levels of poverty, education and health in each state. The ranking notes that Massachusetts residents are wealthier than average, and the poverty rate is one of the lowest in the nation.
RELATED: Massachusetts Named Smartest State In New Report
People in Massachusetts are also living longer, with life expectancy at 80.5 years versus a national average of 79 years.
Rounding out the top five are New Jersey and Minnesota.
Except for Minnesota, ALL COASTAL (east coast) STATES
The website named Mississippi the worst state in America, followed by West Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas and Kentucky.
Please note: Every one of the worst states named have been run by conservative/GOP administrations for years and years and years.
Facts are stubborn things. It is a monumental tragedy that the people who live in those "worst states" have been duped by the GOP into believing their U.S. and state senators and representatives and governors are looking out for their best interests. The fact that these states do not thrive is an indictment on GOP policies.
Ms Shaw
You do enhance the perception of the coastal elite which the democratic party is owned by. It does appear that the age of the the coasts controlling the country may be slowing down.
As a proud member of the colonial elites you should proudly attack middle America and the South as being slow, ignorant with poor educational systems. Ignoring middle America is what lost you the election not only nationally but in the states. How many Governor seats did the democrats pick up? How many house seats? How many state senate seats? Seems like the tide is turning and the middle class is making a comeback.
Anon... "Due to fringe policies the democratic party has become a coastal party"
Maybe people just gravitated to places where the quality of life was perceived to be better, where incomes rose more quickly and where there was better access to services. And as such, a majority of Americans chose to live in those areas.
It's hard to call a majority of Americans a fringe party isn't it?
The morons who scream about 'real Americans', haven't a clue about America and what she is supposed to stand for. They are nothing more than the single-celled types like Palin who have no room for actual thought in heads filled with fluff and bumper-sticker slogans.
because "Anonymous" left a comment last night accusing me of being a "coastal elite," and not a "real American."
Bah. If there's anyone who's not a "real American", it's the kind of person who has only contempt for anyone different from himself, and ignores or disdains the values expressed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, which are the real essence of the country.
I think you have a far better grasp of those values than Anon or any Trumpanzee does.
skuddy ole man, you've become so myopic with respect to the the broader realities of modern life you've relegated yourself to your perceived view of 1776 and what it meant and stood for.
Skud, I'd rather be known as a "coastal elite," than belong to a party that needed the ex-head of the Communist KGB, Putin, to put its puppet, Trump, in the WHite House.
31% of Goopers approve of Putin and only 15% of Goopers approve of our American president.
In any other country in the world, supporting the president of a country hostile to one's own would be seen as disloyal, maybe even traitorous. But in this country, where Goopers, (such as the ones in North Carolina), routinely nullify elections won by Democrats, supporting the president of a country that is hostile to one's own is not considered shameful. Goopers celebrate a thug who kills dissident journalists and aids men who butcher their own people, Assad.
Compared to that, a "coastal elite" sounds extremely patriotic, and those who choose Putin over an American president -- well IMO, those people are lost and hopelessly drowning in partisan hatred.
Good luck with your Russian puppet as president.
As I looked back at this election, I have to admit that the people who supported Donald Trump really bothered me. I do know that many just did not feel they could support Hillary Clinton because of her crooked past, and I get that. I was not Crazy about her myself and in fact, did not vote for her, I voted for Jill. But others felt it was their duty to choose one or the other. Front Runners, I did not. But if I had to pick one of them , I would have voted for Trump,
skud: "You do enhance the perception of the coastal elite which the democratic party is owned by. It does appear that the age of the the coasts controlling the country may be slowing down."
No. Not really. The population centers are still in the coastal states. The electoral college gives power to the smaller, less populated states, and gerrymandering keeps the U.S. House Red. But facts are stubborn things. More Americans voted for Democrats in the 2010 elections and even in the recent one.
The cheating GOP and its partner, ex-Commie Putin, have won a battle, but don't count the rest of us "coastals" out quite yet.
8Pussy: "I do know that many just did not feel they could support Hillary Clinton because of her crooked past..."
Do people like you actually understand anything? Donald Trump just paid $25 million as a settlement on a fraud suit against Trump University. And he has another 75+ lawsuits on various fraud, cheating, etc. out against him. There are dozens of Americans out there testifying to how Trump cheated them and their small businesses out of money he owed them. He hasn't paid federal income tax in 10 years!
And you talk about Hillary's crooked past? Stupidity and the ex-Commie head of the KGB got Trump elected.
octopussy is an alt-right troll Shaw. Not worth the time of day.
Thanks, RN, I figured as much.
It was the Bernie-Bots that killed this election, despite Michael Moore's efforts to still be relevant enough to earn money. Michael Moore can just go ahead and put on another red ball cap. If he doesn't have any other, it wouldn't really make all that much difference if he put on a MAGA cap.
The funny thing is that Putin already understood this, because misogyny is just part of the understanding of life and politics in Russia. Get a couple of million male millennials to buy into the failed effort of a hopeless, old crone like Barney Sanders, and it's all over.
I personally talked to a Barney supporter who promised me that he would not support Hillary in the event of Barney's loss.
People like this apparently did not care if Trump might eventually become the winner. They just weren't willing to cast their vote for HRC.
Skud and Anon, Please explain how the party of "Get the federal govt out of my life" is feeling ignored by DC.
Trump ran on opposing free trade yet, his clothing line is made in sweatshops overseas. He imports Chinese steel for his magnificent buildings (take that rust belt) You "Real Americans" keep electing the same Republicans who vote overwhelmingly for Nafta, Cafta, WTO and TPP. It's the Dems in congress who have opposed these deals and opposed presidents of their own party who supported them.
Trump says he'll close the borders yet recruits foreign workers to do the dishes and trim the hedges at Mara Lago.
I'm a Heartlander of good Swedish and Danish stock. My grandparents emigrated to Minnesota and lived in a little house on the prairie near Mankato, bitches. So, I know of what I speak. I walk among you, IMO any American who supports this disaster of a human being as president needs to have his or her head thoroughly examined. If it weren't for cognitive dissonance, there would be no brain activity at all. Too harsh?
Curious about how many think that 'Trump voters cut off nose to spite face', I checked on Google. 1,180,000 results. (and also found that 20,000,000 of his
voters will now lose their overtime) Oh my.
BB-Idaho, here's an entire page of #Trumpregrets.
Shaw... most of what 8pussy wrote is s cut and paste of my comments to RN at his blog...
He/she/it is a regular at the home of false facts...
RN, Most of the time I can follow your rants but this time you ran off the tracks.
A lot of condemnation for someone who has not done a thing and won't until next year.
Craig, you really stated how can we trust someone who buys his stuff from overseas. Where was your phone made, or your TV or 90% of what you own. I bet you own little that was made in the US.
It does appear the left has found a way to justify their embarrassing loss and that is Putin and Russia. That is the same Russia that BHO said was no longer relevant in the 12 debates against the ex Governor of Mass. Everyone laughed at Romney when he said Russia should be a big concern.
It is heartening to know you now have somewhat to place blame instead of a horrible candidate who only courted the rich and women.
"It does appear the left has found a way to justify their embarrassing loss and that is Putin and Russia."
Actually, it is the CIA and FBI that found Russia's involvement in helping Trump win the electoral votes -- he did BIGLY lose the popular vote, and as someone on this thread noted, he won fewer popular votes than the GOP losers lost in 2008 and 2012. IOW, most of the country rejected The Fraud, but for our antiquated (even The Fraud dislikes it) E.C., Hillary won.
Now does the GOP disregard the findings of the FBI? You know, the same organization, headed by James Comey, that brought up a non-issue over Hillary's emails just before the election that contributed to her loss? That organization which the Goopers had no problem with when it injected itself into the election to damage Hillary?
It wasn't the Democrats, it is the CIA and FBI that concluded that the ex-Commie head of the KGB was instrumental in getting Donnie Little Hands into the White House -- y'know, Putin's Puppet.
THAT, dear skud, will follow Donnie all through his, IMO, fraudulent presidency.
Rant on skuddy ole man. You do provide entertaining material. A unique mixture of data (sometimes false) with your own personal spin.
Sometimes you slip up and actually make sense.
Shaw, you are very close to going off the rails. The election is over, Donald Trump will be the 45th president at noon on Jan.20, 2017. All you whining and crying wont change that one iota.
Face the facts before you, in the past eight years your party has lost 68 seats in the house, you lost the Senate, you lost over 900 statewide seats, there are 31 Republican governors yet you folks thought it smart to let Pelosi remain in power.
President Trump will have at least two SCOTUS appointments and possibly three, that in itself will stack the court for 25 years.
You coastal elites just cant seem to understand.
Given Trump won the election, there must be something you are missing. What tipped the election for Trump were the same voters who voted for Obama. You cannot claim that all who voted for Trump are nut jobs that belong to the nut job side of the Republican party. Even Republicans voted for Clinton, but she couldn't even carry the areas Obama won in the last election. That crossover vote could mean more compromise than ever occurred in the Obama administration. Then add the fact that Trump is actually a liberal on many issues. National politics is hardball and apparently Democrats don't want to play.
I find it endlessly amusing that the Trump supporters ignore the fact that Trump, the Pussy Grabber-elect, had to settle a fraud law suit for $25 million and that he has 70+ other law suits outstanding that involve more fraud and cheating people out of their money. I also find it amusing that the Goopers ignore the fascistic methods the GOP employs to deny minorities of their right to vote. Also, Hillary beat the Pussy Grabber-elect by almost 3 million. And they ignore the fact that 54% of the voting public rejected the Prince of Lies.
The Goopers can put all the lipstick they want on this pig, but he's still and always will be a swine.
Shaw, is that your whole anti-Trump arsenal, he's a pussy grabber, he settled a law suit out of court, he has 75 other pending suits.
Any man who hasn't grabbed a pussy is more then likely a homosexual.
Many large companies settle cases out of court, its usually cheaper....never trust a jury in a civil case.
I'm surprised a multi billion dollar international company only has 75 pending suits, that's a pittance for a company that large.
You really need more material.
And you anonymous apparently have no moral or ethical compass. Just like president elect Trump.
Anyone who wasn't sleeping through the last 18 months or hypnotized by Don the Con and his Trumpism movement, which BTW looks a lot like fascism, is fully aware of the myriad material that disqualifies Trump from being president. Or certainly SHOULD disqualify him from being president. But enough frightened Americans voted for the lout to him the opportunity to really F up our country.

Really, Anon? So tell us, was/is your father a pussy grabber? How about you? Are you bragging to us about how you sexually assault girls and women? You'd be fine with a non-homosexual man grabbing your mother, sister, daughter, wife, grandmother, granddaughter by their pussies, because, as you claim, macho-straight manly men sexually assault women and girls otherwise they're little sissy homos?
Glad you cleared that up for us and showed us how far into the cesspool you and people like you are willing to sink just to excuse the behavior of a lout and sexual assaulter like Trump.
I don't know what kind of family or friends you have, but I do know I wouldn't want any female I know anywhere near a vile creep who thinks like you or them.
Shaw, yu and your friend Irrational Nation are not America. Most women I know would welcome attention from a man as rich and powerful as Trump. Now that he's president, he has more power to do whatever he wants. There nothing you or Irrational Nation can do to stop him.
Hey asshole anonymous, Power Corrupts, Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. Interesting that you, by your own statements, obviously have no problem with that. You sir, using the word sir very loosely here, are every bit the filth slimeball that your hero is.
