We watch in horror as Trump fundamentally changes America into a cheap carnival show, with him as the "Anything I Do or Say Goes" president and Carnival Barker in Chief.
Trump is telling America it isn't enough to be the POTUS, he wants to be a producer and get paid for a cheap reality teevee show. How's that for turning the American presidency into a part time job and America herself into a Vast Wasteland?

Kurt Eichenwald destroyed Donald Trump for his attack on Boeing the other day. Now he has unleashed on the president-elect over his role as producer of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” pointing first of all to the insanity of a president producing a TV show.
“Trump fans,” he asks. “How will he be making America great again while executive producing a TV show? And getting paid by corporations while president?”
Imagine what conservatives would have said about President Obama doing the same. Oh wait:
“God. Some GOPrs already defending Trump executive producing The Apprentice while President. That’s it. America is done. We stand 4 nothing.”

Quaint indeed. Although I believe GWB is basically an honest man and really felt he was acting in the nation's best interests. I do not believe either case I true of El Donaldo the Con Man.
Pence is perhaps as dangerous as Cheney, particularly in the area of religious and other civil liberties.
Pence is more "presidential" and politically astute, but not any better policy-wise.
I hope they film him excusing himself from his security briefing to attend to a problem on the set of The Apprentice .

Trump's approval rating is 41%.
By contrast, in 2008, at this time, Obama's approval rating was 72%.
41% approval and lost the popular vote by almost 3 million.

I believe Jerry's link. I checked it with several other polls. I didn't find any that reported Trump at 51% approval.
Also, we know that Trumpistas live in an alternate reality. I don't expect many of them to know what is true and what is not true.
