WE WANT TO HEAR FROM THE WHISTLEBLOWER

Forget the transcript that Trump said he'll release.

The law demands that we hear and see the whistleblowers complaint. THE LAW!

We need to hear from the whistleblower!

Trump is a documented cheat and liar. Do not believe anything he releases. It will be a lie.

We, the American people, want to hear from the whistleblower!

The whistleblower report is said to involve a number of things; this phone call is one but not all. https://twitter.com/maggienyt/status/1176562220010000386

It's the whistleblower complaint that matters. This is nothing but a down payment on that, and it has all the feel of the Barr summary that preceded the Mueller report. https://twitter.com/jdawsey1/status/1176562728112205826

"It’s long been clear that if the President is driven from office it will only be by the voters in November 2020. Trump has overseen and catalyzed a decisive pivot by the GOP toward authoritarian rule and illiberal politics. Trump will always have 30-something Republican senators who will maintain him in office no matter what crimes he commits or how he violates his oath of office. But we’ve now reached an impasse, a critical juncture at which the House of Representatives, controlled by a party that still supports the rule of law, has no choice but to dramatically intensify its oversight efforts up to and including voting on articles of impeachment against the President. The very premise of democratic government and the rule of law is under active attack by a lawless President...

Will he be removed from office in the Senate? Almost certainly not. It’s not at all clear to me that the Senate will even allow a trial. Perhaps that is a feature of this historical moment rather than a bug since President Trump should also be driven from office by the American voter. But this kind of brazen abuse of power merits the gravest form of constitutional sanction. And that is impeachment."

Today the Senate voted unanimously to demand release of the whistleblower report to the House and Senate intelligence committees -- that is, even all the Republican Senators agree that the Democrats on those committees should have access to it. Something is definitely going on. Apparently there's more in that report than just Trump's phone call with Zelensky. Maybe it's much worse.

The whistleblower has also requested to meet with the House intelligence committee. Things are about to get interesting.

The Dems have decided to charge the lines. The problem for them is their evidence is weak. Trump wouldn’t be willing to release the transcript if it incriminated him. Trump is right, this makes the Dems look insane. Go for it!

Anonymous,

Trump himself has admitted he called the Ukraine president and talked about Joe Biden. If you don't believe that, here's the right wing's favorite cable news station confirming it:

Judge Napolitano: Trump has admitted committing crime in talks with Ukraine

That's an impeachable offense, even if you don't know it. What matters is what the law is, and Donald Trump broke the law. And then tried to cover it up.

Trump's total lack of character, his perpetual lies, his criminality, and now finally an impeachment inquiry will forever be his legacy. Regardless what the Senate knuckle dragging republicans ultimately do.

Can I just say something I don’t usually say? I HATE THE LEFT. I hate Pelosi, I hate Nadler and Schiff, Biden, I hate Green, Lewis, AOC, CNN……..oh, man…..getting all of that out felt good! 🙂

And I also hate how Trump reacts to these stupid, ridiculous Lefty accusations…..

An impeachment inquiry was opened against Trump because Trump himself admitted talking to a foreign government to get information on his political rival to influence his upcoming re-election. That is an impeachable offense.

The person who whined about the "Lefty accusation" obviously is ignorant of the law and is an unredeemable partisan hack.
