Trump is trying to corrupt our election right in front of our eyes. His plan is to shut down Americans' ability to vote by mail. He has a corrupt Post Master General doing his bidding.

By now, it’s no secret that Trump and his allies are trying to sabotage the Postal Service.
The question is what Democrats will do in response. Republicans have had their crosshairs on the USPS for decades now, and for the usual conservative reasons: it’s a national service that they would prefer be wholly privatized and parceled off for profit. But the circumstances around the COVID pandemic the 2020 election make the continued ability of the Postal Service to handle ballots in a timely manner an life-or-death battle for American democracy itself.
Put bluntly, Democrats do better in elections the more people vote; the pandemic makes voting in person more dangerous; universal mail voting increases voter turnout and bypasses a variety of traditional conservative voter suppression strategies; and Donald Trump has convinced a large number of Republicans to avoid mail voting, such that most of the mail-in vote is likely to come from Democratic voters.
Trump and his Republican allies are currently performing poorly in public polling, further incentivizing them to try to narrow the electorate through suppression of opposing communities. Trump and McConnell are refusing to allow money to fund the Postal Service as part of a new COVID relief package, and Trump just admitted to doing so as part of an attempt to hamper mail-in voting.

Are we surprised? No one should be. It is what trump does. America unde trump and his GOP moving us fascism. Now openly and with support of 35%+ I f Americans.

I think they may have blundered by starting this sabotage three months before the election. It allows plenty of time for people to realize what's happening, get angry, and start pushing back. And they are pushing back.
Before any conservatives come here with misdirection, or a slam at Fmr Pres Obama, let's just use this question as a prerequisite to be snarky...
Why isn't President Trump doing everything he can to make sure the greatest number of Americans can vote safely during the pandemic? If mail in voting won't work, why not join with Lebron James and other athletes to make it possible for Americans to safely vote in person at sports arenas all around the country?
What is our admin doing to make voting sure that the maximum number of Americans can safely vote in person if they believe mail in voting is problematic?

In the very slim chance that trump wins I agree with RN, there will be riots. There was a lot of outrage about voter fraud in the 2016 election which lead to a three year pity tour.
Rev, there is a system in place to make sure the greatest number of people can vote. It is called vote in person or vote absentee. Why do so many people have such a hard time understanding the absentee voting system. If you were in the service you understand and if you have a residence outside the country you understand but if you live in the US you don't. Sounds like crying wolf.

Yes skud, rioting will occur should Trump win due to Trump's blatantly clear attemt to suppress the vote. Something I personally believe is only a small possibility. However, why it is cons in this day are so supportive of a man bent on winning at all cost is beyond me. Especialky if it involves destroying our democratic republic through voter supression. What Trump is doing with the USPS in his attempt to suppress the vote puts the USA on the same level with tin pot corrupt dictatorial 3'rd world countries. Why do you pretend to not support Trump when most of your rhetoric says you do? Or maybe you're voting for Biden due to conscience?
Absentee voting is voting by mail so why is there so much fuss. I have voted absentee for the past two national elections and will this one. If you want to classify that as mail in voting you would be correct.
Voter suppression is a good catch phrase with no substantiation. Everyone has the right to vote so how is that suppression. Trump yells voter fraud a the dems yell voter suppression neither which is true. Is there voter fraud, yes but not to any meaningful way, unless you are in a city election in Chicago.
I don't pretend to not support trump, I support capitalism and he is far closer to that belief than president harris.
