HOORAY!

Affordable Care Act Survives Latest Supreme Court Challenge

The court sidestepped the larger issue in the case, whether the 2010 health care law can stand without a provision that required most Americans to obtain insurance or pay a penalty.

The supreme's did what they were supposed to do and take the partisan bent out of their decision. Guess all the hype about conservative's on the court was proven to be non-founded.

The Good News of Today!

Even Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh supported protecting the ACA, known as Obamacare.

Quite simply, the ACA is legal.

Period.

The GOP cannot kill it with the courts and if they want to erase it from America, they will have to vote to do so. And put their futures in the hands of Americans who will die from a lack of access to health care.

Buried in this is kernel of truth for the GOP...

They are afraid to legislate what they believe because their agenda is so unpopular with the American people. So they have taken to installing extremist judges and hoping they will do the wet work.

But even those judges, at least for now, are beholden to the follow the law.

In spite of the hopes and dreams of the extreme partisans.

skudrunner, This is a good decision for Americans. Period. Don't always make it about politics.

Dave This is a good thing for Americans. I hope little by little the ACA will be expanded and the costs will eventually come down.

Ms Shaw, For the last twelve years Everything is about politics, you know that. If the decision had gone the other way you and the rest of the leftists would have blown a gasket. Sometime decisions are made for the right reason.

The costs would already be down if Little Marco Rubio, one of the two clowns I'm burdened with hadn't led the charge to scrap the 'risk corridors' which helped give more options and lower costs to people in areas where few insurance companies offered plans. The scumbag has never been made to answer for this crime against sick people. Hopefully, we'll finally be rid of him in the next election and Val Deming can bring us out of the eternal darkness the GQP has brought here to Florida.

Now we need to progress to universal health care like the rest of the first world countries.

It survived, but to what end? It needs to be reformed to be of much use to those who need good health care.

12 years? IS Skidmark just a teenager or just hopelessly clueless?

Blueballs, BHO and his followers started the all about politics and it has continued ever since. Part of this could be attributed with the craving for social media but now the hatred on both sides is all we can talk about.

When you said crime against sick people were you referring to cuomo. So far the progressive push to de-fund police has not gone well or the opening of the border but it is good to see your governor offer support for those states who are flooded with illegal crossings.

Frankly skidmark you're so full of sh*t your eyes must be deep brown. Your lie about President Obama is f**king laughble.

Time for a facelift skidmark.

Bullshite Skidmark. It started with Ronny Raygun and got really bad when Newt Gingrich started with the whole contract on America crap. Again, you're either very young or very obtuse. Crimes against sick people would be what the right has tried repeatedly to do these past few years. Remember 'repeal and replace?' The only thing they ever came up with after that was to 'repeal' and leave millions of Americans without health coverage at all. The GQP slogan has always been "if you get sick and can't afford treatment on your own, please die quietly so as not to disturb us on the golf course.'
Luckily, America isn't having it anymore and your side loses time and time on the issue. Gee, what a shock - the right is on the wrong side of an issue. Color me --no don't bother, cause it's not a surprise - it's, in fact, extremely normal for that bunch.
