For a guy who didn't even like to read the PDB material when he was POTUS, why would Trump steal these highly technical, highly secret documents?
And what was he going to do with them?

Perhaps internet troll -FJ can provide a clue. In one of his recent blog blasts here's what he asked...
"Trump can't even keep his OWN correspondence with Kim il? Wow."
And that about sums it all up.
Reporting has shown that Trump believes this stuff is his, not the American people's. And that while he has been told he is wrong about that, he seems functionally unable to back down. So here we are, with Trump defending the indefensible, both in the court of right wing public opinion and in legal settings.
The problem is he, like -FJ, is wrong.
But let me say this... this is what I want to believe, because the alternatives are far far worse.

-FJ has been WRONG on almost everything during the Trump administration and the 2020 election. He was sure that the audits in Arizona and Wisconsin would prove Trump actually won those states. The audits did not.
He even claimed the story about the 10-year old child who was denied an abortion was fake news!
Trump's correspondence with Kim Jong Il belongs to the U.S., not Trump. He received it while he was IN OFFICE, not a private citizen.
What don't people understand about that?
And now Trump has claimed he kept the documents to "Protect" them from Biden, the Deep State and other supposed nefarious folks...
I am happy to give a reason. He thought he could get away with it and everything belonged to him. That is what happens when you have a Mega Narcissists. Lock Him UP!!!

If there are 80 Republican politicians, 370 members of law enforcement, and over 100 active-duty members of the U.S. military who are all members of the Oath Keepers, isn't THAT the definition of "Deep State?"
